The carvago.com's business is associated with a popular Car Parts & Accessories industry, but we have our doubts. We tried to extract some content from the website to see what they say about themselves. Here's the conclusion:

This website is poorly designed and doesn't contain elements in the metadata that could help its online presence. As a result, it loses credibility and shows that its quality is questionable momentarily. As soon as they improve their back-end, we will update this information.

carvago.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives carvago.com a low-to-medium trust score on the platform: 47.4. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 47.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to carvago.com's industry. The algorithm detected potential high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert. tags above. Long story short, we caution you about using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning carvago.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between carvago.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of carvago.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of carvago.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. carvago.com is a suspect website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether carvago.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether carvago.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, carvago.com.

It takes much longer for them to deliver the car than they commit. They took 2 months to deliver my car.I ordered the car and paid the full money on 7th April 2024 and they delivered the car on 4th June. The process is very manual, like you pay for the technical check, but they will not send the guy to check it. They will contact you for confirming it again. The car was delivered as defined, looks good.
Unexpectedly poor service provided by carvago. It has a sense of samsareala. I had the impression that after I gave the money, he was no longer interested in keeping his promises.First of all, the audit they did on the car is wrong, in the audit it appears that the driver's electric seat with the massage function works, and when I tested the option in Romania, it didn't work. I also put a comment when I made the audit order to check this thing.Anyway, it depends a lot on who they send to check the car, some are professionals others very superficial. Now I have to waste time fixing something that should have worked, if the audit was done correctly.I will bring you the car in max 6 weeks, fake. It took almost 2 months to receive the car, with insistence to deliver it, as they kept postponing it in the 7th week. Very disappointing. On their website it appears that they bring your car to your house, totally false! My father waited for the car for 5 hours in the yard of a dealer at the entrance to the city, because the carrier forgot to mention that he was late with the delivery. They don't check the cars properly or communicate with the dealer, I found out that the car I bought has 2 recalls when I took it in for service. It was nice of them to find out these things from the dealer and tell me or put a paper in the car with these notes.Another thing that seemed to me in bad taste, is that on the phone after an audit that I ordered and it was clear that the car had problems, they insisted on the phone that I take it, that the car is ok because I have claims. It's my money and I decide what I buy.I would not work with them in the future.
Terrible experience with an electric car we bought on the platform. The car audit didn't mention any issues with the car, and advertised a reach of 250km.When we received the car, the guy delivering it already told us this car won't drive more than 80km. We tested it and managed about 100km before having to recharge. This is hugely off the 250km advertised. We asked Carvago to give the car back under their return warranty of 14 days "no questions asked". They stopped replying to our emails, told us they would respond to us on the phone but never put it in writing. We had to get official letters and legal advice to get them to finally answer after 2 months. Their response is that we need to bear most of the cost for sending the car back, taking it off the register and pay for the km we drove while we had the car... Needless to say that all those cost are creeping up to almost half of the money we paid. We're being forced to keep a car that does not do what it was advertised to do. This company also doesn't care about its customers and is not willing to fulfil the offer on their website which is 100% Geld zuruck Garanatie.Would advise not to use!
I recently attempted to buy a car through Carvago with my partner, who has been a resident in the Czech Republic for over 8 years, holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from here, and occupies a senior position in a multinational company. Despite meeting what we believed to be all the prerequisites - stable and above-average income, no existing loans or mortgages, and fluency in Czech (demonstrated during interactions with the bank) - our application was unexpectedly declined. Our initial attraction to Carvago was their marketing as a progressive, English-friendly startup that simplifies the car leasing or buying process, especially appealing to those of us from the expat community. However, our experience was far from smooth. It was particularly frustrating to encounter what seemed to be an unstated bias or discrimination based on nationality from the banking partners involved, a detail not disclosed by Carvago at any point. This experience has been frustrating, to say the least, especially given Prague's reputation for being an expat-friendly city with services often available in both Czech and English. The lack of transparency and apparent discrimination has led us to seek alternatives that promise a more inclusive approach. While I had hoped to become an advocate for Carvago, given their promising service offer, this situation has regrettably led me to advise the expat community to approach with caution or seek more reliable services elsewhere.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
