What started as a long search for the right luggage ended with a refreshing experience with customer support that went above and beyond their promise. After finally settling on my luggage, I chose the set that included check-in and carry-on luggage. When it arrived, I was very impressed by the design of the suitcase (especially the wheels that are often a sticking point for me); I loved the look and feel and was relieved I made the right pick. Soon however, I realized that the shipping company must have missed one of my boxes, as the carry-on luggage did not arrive. As you may expect, the carrier was dismissive and did not care to help me locate my missing purchase. After filing claims and getting nowhere, I reached out to Carl Friedrik support and was blown away by how quickly they got back to me and how thorough they were with the replacement process. Their thoroughness in handling the situation made me feel secure about the brand's commitment to customer service. I am not even certain if they had any success with the shipping company or just decided to send me a replacement without the claim being resolved. After some brief and thoughtful communications with their staff, my replacement bag shipped, and my headache was over. He arranged a pick-up for the incorrect item as well as shipped the correct size to me. I had to raise a warranty claim, and had read all the reviews previously and have to say i did not find the CS team unhelpful in the least. Morgan owned this from the start of the claim to the end and was clear and concise in what would happen. All instructions were easily dealt with and from making a claim to getting my delivery took less than 4 days, its been an excellent experience already, this has made it so much better, well done Carl Friedrik !

Though a little concerned about price point when comparing alternatives prior to purchase, all concerns washed away upon receipt and use. Be very careful ordering online from this company…they try to sell refurbished products as new. Received badly scratched up luggage that even had the previous sellers label on the packaging…customer service was quick and apologetic, but this company will sell used goods when their supply chain prevents them from having new items…horrible quality control.

Just received my Carry-on X case and couldn't be happier. Quick delivery only 2 days after placing the order. Amazing quality and great looking in the grey/cognac colour combination. This case is seriously well made and worth every penny. Definitely an investment piece and comes with a lifetime warranty. I really like the locking closure system which feels very secure and makes a nice change from the usual zip closings you find on other cases. Plenty of room inside for a few days trip and the hardshell front pocket is ideal for my laptop and travel docs. All in all a very stylish piece and I can't wait to use it.

One, the team at Carl have been very good at supporting me in getting my luggage on time, even when it was a tight deadline, thank you Jacob. Secondly, I recently got to test the suitcases and they excellent. They were able to handle the weight I needed and was easy to move around when transporting. The suitcases are also spacious when it comes to capacity and design, hence I didn't have to worry about the bag bulging due to the weight.

Very happy with my luggage purchase, it arrived living up to my high expectations. Looks and feels fantastic, now I really can't wait for my next vacation. Customer service was fast and helpful when the delivery got hung up at the border in customs for a couple days, ensured that all the paperwork was included and any delay was due to customs themselves, and they were correct.

I had a small issue with the handle on my carry on case and the customer service received to resolve the issue was second to none. Tried to purchase 2 suitcases for an upcoming trip. Confirmed with a sales associate that they would arrive on time and found out 2-days before the trip that they had a system error and didn't ship the bags. No solution available except to refund. Disappointed in the customer service / overall experience associated with this brand.

I have had my carry on for almost 2 years, it has been on many flights and train journeys on several continents and has held up fine..... until last weekend when on an Air France flight one of the wheels was smashed off and the corner dented. I contacted Carl Friedrik on a Sunday, and they replied the same day offering a free wheel (all I had to pay was the postage), 3 days later I had the wheel in my hand and my suitcase was whole again, I am very happy!!

Update- After a bit of back and forth with customer service they acknowledged the errors and provided some compensation. I used part of the compensation to also order the 72 hour backpack. Both products I have are great. Just was a bit of a journey to get them and the quality control on the first order was lacking. I ordered the Palissey Weekend bag and the compact Weekend bag. When the Pallisey arrived it didn’t have a card or note in the bag or box . I thought at this price point a card with a thank you, here is the serial number and maybe how to care for the leather would be in there . Nothing. The other more important issue is the bag was damaged. There were scratches on the top and one of the sides had the the leather torn off exposing the frame underneath. Very disappointing. On the smaller bag, I cannot review it. Because despite repeated assurances it would ship in time , two days after the promised ship date I got an email that it would ship up to three weeks from now.I think if this company wants to gain more sales they need to sort out quality control and customer service. Very disappointed and would not buy again or recommend

So thankful we invested into this brand. Yes, their suitcases are not cheap - but you pay for the AMAZING after-sales too. Customer services couldn't have been better. Very pleased, and already looking too add an additional piece to our growing travel collection!

EDIT: Initially rated a 1 star as shipment was delayed and was not able to gift the backpack as a present, a ton of logistical set backs prompted me to return the bag. But Carl Friedrik and CS agent Magda have gone over the top to fix the situation by. Shipping a new bag out covering the express shipping cost, made good with another item comped as well as helped manage a missing package and refund situation. Spectacular service and promptness albeit had to be managed overtime. Thank you Magda and CF. Will purchase again.
