careuk.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives careuk.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 70.1. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 70.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to careuk.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning careuk.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between careuk.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of careuk.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of careuk.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. careuk.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether careuk.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether careuk.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, careuk.com.

The word which we would use to describe Priors House is KIND. All the staff, whether carers, nursing, maintenance, reception or admin all extended a tremendous kindness to Mum and also to her family from the moment she came into the home until the day she died. From the beginning we were struck by the sense of community that was established in the home by the staff and residents alike. We were made to feel very welcome, with cakes and drinks available at all times of day and night; in addition, space was created for us to be with Mum both day and night when we most needed it. Regardless of position, all the staff demonstrated great kindness to Mum, and also to us, caring for us as we cared for her. The home is bright, warm and welcoming. There are numerous activities to choose from, and also quiet spaces and a pleasant garden if that's more appropriate. We have no hesitation in recommending Priors House most highly.
My mum was a resident at Oakfield from early April 2023 to 4th June 2024. Moved my mum to another home due to safety concerns. On the surface Oakfield is a really nice modern home furniture and decor are obviously very important items. Initially I was pleased mum was accepted, she is 90 now and has dementia. So paying £1500 per week the expectations are quite high for a comfortable environment and exceptional care. Care varies a lot at Oakfield and there is no consistency. A lack of leading from the front is sadly missing, sometimes it is very hecessary. We have also been let down by Trafford social services and Trafford Safeguarding, I have failed to get a satisfactory outcome to my mums safety issues. Also, no one from Care UK has even attempted to discuss my reasons for moving mum which I think is a major concern and failing on their part. Obviously profit comes before anything else. Mum experienced several issues in the months leading up to my decision to move her. In the early days mum was given medication covertly without my agreement. An unexplained broken hip, 2 occasions where mum was left in a dangerous situation due to alarms being switched off and crash mats and sensor mat being moved from the side of her bed. Even the paramedics and hospital staff expressed surprise and concern to me about the circumstances surrounding my mums situation. After my mums return to the home from 5 weeks in hospital I was asked to get involved with the resident of day system that operates at Oakfield, this took 12 months for anyone to properly explain this to me and what imput I could have. I put this under the leadership heading. Mum is now settled in her new home and I don't have the ongoing concerns, anxiety and waiting for the next call that I had previously.
My husband has recently moved into Chichester Grange after an extremely traumatic 6 months within the NHS system.I can only say positive things about this home and it's staff - everyone I have had dealings with has been empathetic towards me and kind and caring towards my husband.I feel he couldn't be in better hands.
My Mother is a resident of Dashwood Manor Care Home in Basingstoke. I can honestly say she is so well loved and care for by all the staff. The home is modern, well maintained and clean. The Activities Team are very creative and they organise lots of events in and out of the home. This home is fully staffed by trained Care UK, no agency staff needed. There is a happy friendly vibe around and the staff build good relationships with the relatives. I am able to get my own life back now mum is well cared for by the nursing team too, who organise medication and any appointments.
My mum has Parkinson's and for a long time since my dad passed away, she has managed by herself. However she now can no longer cope and reluctantly found herself needing care, which at 78 felt she was too young and wouldn't fit in. She's now been in Heather View in Crowborough for 2 weeks and the care, support, facilities and warm welcome has been a huge relief for her, my sister and myself. I know she's safe and no longer lonely or scared of falls or freezes while she's on her own.Would highly recommend this amazing team of people who genuinely care.
My mum is a resident at Smyth Lodge in Sidcup, she is treated with kindness and respect. The home is always clean. The food is lovely, mum enjoys a full cooked breakfast everyday, a treat that she's not had for a long time. Mum has a soft spot for a carer called Jenny, who always goes above and beyond to make mum feel safe, happy and respected. Rebecca is the customer relations manager who helped with the admission, making mums admission run smooth and uncomplicated, she has a wealth of knowledge about care homes and what we should expect. The end result is a very happy mum, and family.
Wouldnt trust them with a loved one The whole recruitment process is a shamblesInterviewed and offered jobWas badgered by admin who said my referees were not responding. Referees confirmed references had been dispatched Tried doing courses and required paperwork but communications not working properlyRaised with admin `nothing wrong` (Mr Bates had the same problem !)Manager on interview saying she was struggling to attract right calibre !Decided to stay where I amWould you trust them with your loved ones ? I don’t
The moment you walk into Martlet Manor you feel a warmth from everyone and it’s like coming home. The senior management, the carers, the caterers, the cleaners and the laundry staff could not be more accommodating. My Mother wants for nothing and the care that she receives is astounding. I couldn’t ask for a better care home for my beautiful Mother to be living in. I cannot recommend Martlet Manor enough. Thank you for the amazing care that you provide for my Mother 24/7. I know I can leave from visiting her and she is safe and well cared for. You’re all phenomenal xx
My mum has been in Murrayside in Edinburgh for around four years and i could not be happier with the care. As her needs have increased she has moved from the residential floor to the nursing floor with the same consistent great care. While her Dementia has increased she continues to thrive and enjoy activities within the home. All three homes in Edinburgh provide outstanding care from amazing staff.
If I could give this company less than 1 star I would. Managers have a bullying attitude towards their staff, lack empathy and only in this for themselves. Management teams have no clue what the others are doing and admin staff next to useless at resolving issues. No supervisions completed. Care quality is often below standard due to poor staffing and overworked, stressed out nurses. Lots of staff left or wishing they had. Absolutely useless.. avoid. As a side note, don’t you just love their “It saddens us to hear …..” stock reply. BS.
Just wanted to say how grateful our family is for the fantastic care given to our Mum. We found all the staff, whatever their role, to be kind, friendly and professional, often going above and beyond to ensure the happiness, safety and wellbeing of all those in their care. We are particularly grateful for the care and support given to us, as well as our Mum, when dealing with the difficulties that dementia can present. The staff on Reminiscence are amazing - showing boundless patience, good humour and special care - thank you.
My mother has been at Winchcombe Care Home since December 2021; however their empathy and true kindness to my mother has been extraordinary! During Christmas and New year 2023 my mother was really suffering and the deputy went out to desperately source the antibiotics for her. The 24/7 care during this time was Extremely humbling ( I managed an hour with my mum and I was exhausted!). Their retention of staff under management who clearly know their staff helps especially with those residents who have dementia. My mother has early stage dementia and I can relax to being her daughter not her carer!
Their hightest paid director, according to Companies House data, earned more than £600,000 last year whilst front line care staff earn the minimum wage of £10.42. I was going to apply as a care assistant, but not now. The problem with private social care is the focus on for-profit at the expense of vulnerable elderly people who end up selling their homes to pay inflated care home fees just to line the pockets of fat cat directors and investment company shareholders. It's time the government legislated to stop this financial abuse.
Winchcombe Place Care Home UK. We have been so lucky that our dad has become a full-time resident at Winchcombe Place in Newbury. He has settled into his new home so well, he loves it there. We were encouraged to personalise his room to make him feel comfortable and have familiar belongings around him. We had lots of help from the maintenance man hanging his pictures and his television, nothing was any trouble. He will say he is not lonely and sees people all the time, they bring him tea and care for him and they are always happy. The careers show him such warmth, kindness and respect there has never been a doubt in our families minds that Winchcombe Place Care Home is a safe, loving environment for him to live in. Although these are my words, our dad has told us all "I love it here, everyone is happy and kind to me."
This company is FORCING their employees to vaccinate with an experimental jab that cannot even called a vaccine by any definition. These new jabs are experimental they are using nano technology in them. Many people have been injured already. There's no long term studies. Shame on this company avoid. No regard to their staff health. 100% they don't care about their customers too. Shame shame shame!
Worked for care uk for 2 year what an absolute disgrace and the management were no better! All had each others backs but couldn’t give two hoots about the staff or residents only time you see them TRYING to care was when the residents families were there all smoke screen and mirrors AVOID AVOID AVOID
Left care uk as bad employer.....manager doesnt have clue how too manage. Came up with all these ideas but never followed up on them. When home was severly hit with covid, manager was more concerned with who brought into home and not catching it herself than her staffs health well being. Staff leaving left right centre due too poor management and zero support. Literally no bank staff too cover shifts so ran short. Theres no confidentiality within home I worked in. Even residents knew confidential stuff. As for care of residents. When run constant short staffed or with incompetent staff, residents dont get care paying for. Food is abysmal. Paying £1200 week for sausage rolls baked beans?????
My mother resided with Skylarks in Horsham she suffered dementia she was slapped by a carer in there care which resulted In court The manager Dora has false compassionMum spent her last 9 days with us at her side which led to awful behaviour from the staff Disgusting care homeComplaint in process
My mother went to live in a Care UK nursing home following a stroke in 2018. The home is in Worcestershire and is a lovely, clean, bright environment and most importantly my mother is quite happy there. The staff are very professional and any concerns are dealt with efficiently. If you are looking for a modern care home with young energetic staff then a Care UK home is ideal. Staff are well trained and the homes are built for purpose - lots of en-suite rooms and a variety of social rooms such as a dining room, lounge, library, coffee shop and activity room. Perfectly thought out care accommodation.
Absolutely shocked. You are a huge care provider yet run your staff into the ground. Several complaints to HR fall on deaf ears. Still there are multiple staff of with depression and you do nothing. Several of the staff at my home have had breakdowns or quit due to care UK’s lack of support. All area managers and office staff stayed safe at home and gave no help or regard to the residents throughout covid. You are a financially driven business not a care provider it’s disgusting you are allowed to continue with such poor practices

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
