Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 73.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to cardinalfinancial.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning cardinalfinancial.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between cardinalfinancial.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of cardinalfinancial.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of cardinalfinancial.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. cardinalfinancial.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether cardinalfinancial.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether cardinalfinancial.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, cardinalfinancial.com.

I think they are okay ? My contact with them was limited as I used mortgage broker that was less than just okay. I had one interaction with Cardinal Financial during closing and it was great. It’s hard to know who was bad and who wasn’t. My complaint is that post closing the website for making payments is awful and you cannot setup automatic payments online. I always feel like companies that don’t make it easy want you to fail so they can collect more fees.
I am a RE agent dealing with an out of state buyer using this company. Almost ZERO communication regarding whom to contact & important deadlines!-The LO I was told was handling it...was not. I wasn't given the name of the correct contact person until I did a lot of digging after being ghosted -Appraisal deadline: if the buyer doesn't get the appraisal back in time for the deadline, they are legally liable to pay the offer amount regardless of whether it appraises! (Do they CARE about their customers?) I called the appraiser to find out when it was submitted because the person I was in contact with, didn't know where it was. I told them that they DID have the appraisal, because she had sent it to them right away after doing it, (Then it was "magically" found)-LC deadline. I know many states don't have this, but if you have a license to operate in a state, you'd better know what that state's contracts require! And not wait till nagged to provide the documentation by the deadline...to the correct parties. (Don't act as if it doesn't matter!)-Did not really do anything of their own initiative regarding getting important info & docs to me -Interest rates are less than stunning. The buyer could have saved as much as 2 percent if they'd used a different lender...
Tim White and Lacy make a great team!It was our first time buying a house and they walked us through it along with our Realtor. Communication was always top Notch and they worked their butts off to make sure we got everything in order and we could close on time and we did!! From the beginning to the end they always cheered us on.
Brian followed up with us to the detail the whole way through our new build timeline (9months!), proactively gave us heads up info, answered all of our questions and concerns, and worked with us through the finish line - not to mention very quick funding, said the Title Company - while making our experience totally enjoyable and personable! We cannot say this about other lenders we’ve worked with!! :)
Cardinal Financial and specifically Charlie and Matt went above and beyond to make themselves available for any questions we had, day or night. They did an amazing job competitively and got us a great mortgage suited to our needs. They even showed up to the closing, in person, with Champagne! Definitely a white glove experience compared to big bank lenders we have used in the past. We would recommend them highly to any friends and family.
Brandon Ford was our contact at Cardinal Financial. Throughout the whole process he kept us up to date on our progress and answered any questions quickly and completely. With numerous choices available to homebuyers these days it was important to us to find one that we trusted. Brandon met or exceeded our expectations every step of the way.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE, as we have learned the hard way… closing date after closing date after closing date…. As lock rate fees climb climb climb. Poor communication…. At its worse. We were told our appraisal fee was refundable, yet now we have made NUMEROUS attempts by phone and email with NO REPLY! Poor poor service and total lack of communication.Beware this lender!
The home loan process has many steps and requires lots of information which can be overwhelming and even disheartening. Mark and his team not only explain the steps and info requirements in plain language, but also give a clarity which dissolves the fear surrounding one of the most expense purchases in a person's lifetime. Mark is more than a Loan Officer he's one of the few folks who is a "loan educator."
What do you means what went wrong this time? I'm a Realtor and would like to share a horrible experience I had with Bill Leear Loan Officer with Cardinal. I gave him two loans, one for a refi and the other was a Sales and Purchase. He was unsuccessful and ignore pertinent information regarding my client before starting the loan process. Which should have been check prior to the loan. This tells me in my twenty years of doing Real Estate he is not experinced or he really didn't want my client to have the loan. In addition, my client spend a lot of unnecssary funds. So I want to end with, I hope no one will experinced this, just down right ridiculous.
Excellent, efficient, professional service with Matt Maltese. This is the 4th house I've bought and Matt was hands down the best loan officer I've used. I'll never use anyone else again for buying a home. He has the highest integrity and has great people skills and clear communication.
Elizabeth Ramirez was wonderful to work with!!! She explained everything and made it happen plus gave me tips along the way. The process with Cardinal financial was so easy. She worked so well with our Realtor which made buying my first home on my own a wonderful experience!!! I would highly recommend her and her team!!!
First off I don’t write many reviews but in this case I could not wait to do it. The amazing Sonia Nangia did hands down the most incredible job Ive ever seen a professional do. Absolute attention to details, constant communication, always on top of everything. If you want the smoothest process with the least amount of headaches or uncertainty, you will not find anyone better than Sonia. Me and my wife are eternally grateful as she totally saved our butts and we were able to close after a very difficult and intricate mortgage. Not only do I recommend her for everybody but any future mortgage related transactions will not be with anybody else. Thank you Sonia!!!!!!
I used Cardinal Financial to get a mortgage in Park City. The entire process was extremely simple. They are experts in the region. Importantly, the seller's agent also recognized Greg as a trustworthy lender, so when he indicated that he was confident in my ability to close, my bid was chosen.
Molly worked with me to help our family obtain the home of our dreams. We couldn't have asked for a better loan originator. She was on our side and helped make the process seamless and the transition much less stressful then we had originally anticipated it to be. She really went out of her way to help make our dream of homeownership a reality. Great experience!
Tyler and his team at Cardinal didn't miss a beat. They were "ahead" of me on virtually everything, and that can be hard to do. Their professional guidance and explaining the optionality along the way were critical to my decision points. They did what they said what they would do and they did it in a very clean and concise communicative manner that provided me peace of mind throughout the entire project. Their organization and tooling allowed for an efficient process and one that was visually trackable in real time. We contracted and closed in less than 30 days. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to Tyler, Jillian and the rest of their team. Thanks!
Steve makes every step of the process manageable. He communicates with his clients through each step and he is quickly available to answer any questions you might have. He values his clients like family and works hard to make home loans/refinancing possible. I would recommend him to help anyone who is looking to purchase a home or to refinance their existing home.
It was a pleasure working with Jack Laudani for our mortgage! From the first phone call to Jack, he put me at ease and made me feel that he would take care of everything. He communicated often, and was never anything other than positive, helpful and encouraging! I would recommend him in a heartbeat! He made the entire mortgage process a pleasant experience because I always knew Jack sincerely cared about helping us buy a home!
I have a home loan with Cardinal Financial. My insurance was not paid out of my escrow and now have been giving an oh well by the company who advised the check was sent. The insurance company stated they never received the check and my insurance is now canceled. Cardinal has been called multiple times and wont do anything to resolve this issue. Now my insurance is canceled, my rate will go up due to lapse in coverage and Cardinal won't lift a finger to do anything. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! And since my insurance has lapsed, I can't get coverage anywhere.
It had everything to do with our loan officer, Corey McConnell. It is very rare nowadays to come across someone that is genuine and personable, while maintaining high standards of professionalism. I work in healthcare, so I'm very familiar with performance standards and client satisfaction. I must say that Corey exceeded my expectations on every level. I never felt rushed. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Most of all, he was very accessible and personable. I felt like I could contact him after hours if needed, due to my work schedule. When we did talk, we even got off topic several times, talked about family which was very nice. If Cardinal Financial has more personnel like Corey, keep it up. People like him are hard to come by, and people like him do make a difference.
Peter Munguia my refi manager hung up on me when I told him paying over 10k in closing cost did not make sense to me. I would recommend you to look somewhere else for refi or any loan from them. Very rude very unprofessional and very wrong! Good luck to others with this company you will need it

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
