It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 11.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to carcomputerexchange.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. While some are self-explanatory concerning carcomputerexchange.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between carcomputerexchange.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of carcomputerexchange.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of carcomputerexchange.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. carcomputerexchange.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether carcomputerexchange.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

i got my order fast and hoping it working after i get my battery charge up to get it start and up and running so far all good but still waiting to see if the computer will do the job. having issuse getting out to get my car battery charge up do to bad weather and no way out to do this just yet
I Purchased a PCM for my jeep, gave them all the requested information. They shipped me a PCM and my jeep would not start. I sent them email pictures and hard copies of the diagnostics and returned the PCM. They shipped me another PCM, jeep would start and run for a minute and shut off. I once again sent them all documentation along with their PCM with results and asked for my money back. They refunded half and claimed return policy. They shipped me faulty equipment and then when i said no more then they robbed me. Buyers beware from this company. The error was on them and i was in full compliance. It took them 3 weeks to return 1/2 my money and not the 10 working days their policy claims. They deal in faulty equipment and very shady.
Car computer Exchange was very friendly easy to talk to I called them several times always helpful. Sent my computer but realised sent one for automatic my truck is standard transmission called them sent the computer back they sent me another one truck started right up been runnin great. If you need a computer these folks are the place to go. Thanks
It seems to me you have offered a lifetime warranty that you have made sure you will never have to honor. You have asked for us to show proof that we checked all of the checklist you provided, yet you do not list what counts as proof. We have done a complete diagnostic on all of these items listed and more. But I have no way of proving that I did. Because I did it. Do you want video? I mean seriously. Also it doesn't say that I have to return this checklist to you, but it seems official, and that you might want that on file. I need more specific direction from you if you plan on doing whatever you need to do to not provide me with another unit, if yours fails. Which I assume it will do at some point, because it's a refurbished unit. It seems to have taken care of any issues we were having. We got no code feedback about any other issues. And to think that something HAD to cause the old computer to go down is ridiculous. Seeing as how it is a part too, that will also get older and fail all on its own. I will keep record of this message for any lawsuit I may need to file at a later date to get a replacement. Thank you for the part and the good price however. I will tell others about your company. But I will have to warn them about the shady "Lifetime Warranty" you offer while recommending.
Everything went well but it would be nice if there was more clarity up front about the seven day return policy. My car was at the dealer. They had tried another aftermarket, from O'Reilly I believe, and it didn't work. I ordered yours and they installed it and it worked but I had to rush to get the core from them to send back to you. A two week window would be nicer.
Yes, I have received the unit after a very reassuring conversation with the sales staff. Per your request, I have an appointment with a Moble Mechanic to circuit test my van electronics Wednesday November 4th, prior to exchanging the replacement unit. The defective uit will be shipped to your location following the exchange. Thanks for your help in correcting the problem.
The computer came in as stated by CCE. I put it in following the instructions and it turned right on. Once I shut it off it would not turn over. I had to take it to the dealership. They stated that it was put in correctly but that it was not connecting to other components. He would have to run the software to see if they could get it to link up. This would take about two weeks, as the dealership was backlogged. If it did not work I would have to exchange it and have the dealership enter the VIN. I will update if possible.
I was very sceptical about my purchase and receiving a computer that was 100% plug and play. But after receiving the PCM and installing it my car started right up with out any problems with the computer or the skim module. 1000% convinced now car computer exchange does what they say!
I received my computer but there's something wrong with it so I had to send it back for repairs
We received the PCM in a timely manner! However, following your check list discovered that the camshaft sensor was bad and are returning the PCM. Will definitely use you in the future!
The original order was faulty; the second fix worked. The process and communications could have been more straightforward, and it took several calls and emails to get things on track. There was no self-addressed mailer to return the old one, and they have yet to confirm they received it to issue the credit for the core.
The computer didn't last did good at first but now it's not charging again alt is good.
Fast and easy ordering system. Car Computer Exchange gave step-by-step instructions on where to find the information they needed, and how to return the used part. All very straight forward and easy. New computer arrived within a week and was programmed, ready to install. Total plug-n-play. Worked like a charm and corrected the Check Engine light problem.
Thank you, fast service, the computer solved an ongoing issue that I had been chasing with sensor replacements. 40 minute replacement (30 minute off battery time. 10 minutes to install and start the truck) Allowed truck to warm, drove the neighborhood and then 5 mile drive.... after that functioned perfectly.
If new need a new ECM for your vehicle then this is the company to use! Very easy to purchase one, just fill out the attached form they send you and you’re done. Fast shipping and includes a return shipping label. As long as you do your diagnosis correctly, you can’t beat this purchase.
Like so many others have reported on the Better Business Bureau’s website, these folks are awful. I purchased an ECM for my Ford Explorer. It did not work and I wasted money paying my mechanic to install it and reprogram my keys and then they had to put my old one back in. I sent the ECM back for a refund and they said it would take 7-11 business days after receiving it (ridiculous, but whatever). It’s now been 20-something business days later and no refund and the billing department (just an email address, no phone number) will not respond to me. Stay away from this company.
Have to give credit to these guys! Their customer service was excellent. The entire process after I purchased my pcm it took maybe six days I think to finish transaction. Thanks for your excellent customer service guys will definitely keep you in mind if I need anything else in your field later down the road!
Customer Service Was Great.Recieved Sooner Then Expected. Installed With Out Having Any Issues.Returning Core Was Easy Sure Was A Great Experience Doing Business With This Company And Highly Recommend Car Computer Exchange Glad I Found Them Thank You Keep Up The Good Work.
Had a 2003 town and country. These guys were so fast with the communication made me feel comfortable knowing that they knew what they were talking about. Fast delivery and in the end fixed my issue.
Ordered computer module on Sunday, Nov 10 late afternoon, then on Monday morning, Nov 11 (Veteran's day), I cancelled my order with Car Computer Exchange (CCE) prior to CCE fully processing order. CCE acknowledged, in writing, on Nov 11 that my order was cancelled and that CCE would process refund within 7 - 10 business days, with the caveat that if on the 11th business day refund has not been received to contact CCE's accounting. The 11th day "warning" imo indicated that this issue was common otherwise why would CCE communicate it in the first place. Needless to say it gave me cause for pause of which proved to be valid as CCE did not process refund within conveyed timeframe causing my filing a dispute with my credit card of which was ruled in my favor. By their actions they have proven to be less than honest and honorable.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen?
