canadacomputers.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives canadacomputers.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 90.9. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 90.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to canadacomputers.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning canadacomputers.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between canadacomputers.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of canadacomputers.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of canadacomputers.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. canadacomputers.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether canadacomputers.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether canadacomputers.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, canadacomputers.com.

Canada Computers lost a 30 year customer. The tech support was condescending. They refused to credit me for a flakey motherboard. I will never shop there again. Hello Amazon
They don’t stand behind the product they . Consumer is left to fend for themselves . May as well have thrown my money down the toilet
I bought an office chair from them and after assembly, I found out that one of screws for the headrest doesn't go all the way in. I brought the chair for them to check it out, but the manager insisted that it was my fault and he refused to exchange it nor give me my money back and told me that I can sue the company for that matter. After, I refused to leave the store without getting my problem fixed, the manager called the cops on me , but I was waiting for the cops to show up, he decided to give me a part taken from a demo chair. Honestly, it's worst customer service I ever came across. I hope that Canada computers goes out of business , because they are vey bad!
Only place where you can buy a brand new laptop with 3 out of 12 months of vendor warranty expired. Also the only place where English is optional as well as knowing your job.Only place where i was accused of deleting ALL the apps that come with windows 11 because they could not figure out how to work the start menu.Only place where a stress test trumps any problem you might have with your purchase.
Had a water pump in my PC fail unfortunately, however I had purchased the 3yr tech care warranty. Of course they needed to verify the issue themselves which I understand, but having my PC for 5 days is a bit much for something that probably took 20 minutes. Anyways they call me to say the unit is defective and they have already swapped in the replacement for me - which at first I thought was nice of them, as I had planned on doing that myself. In hindsight though I feel it was so I wouldn't "notice" what had actually happened until I got home with my PC.When I got my PC home and switched it on I immediately noticed the replacement was not what I had originally purchased. To be specific my original pump was a Kraken Z53 with the 2.5" LCD display on the pump head (the ENTIRE pump head). What I had been replaced with was the new "base" model Kraken with a 1.5" screen that is only a small square within the larger pump head. Looks really tacky, and I never would have purchased this version ! Looking at my receipt I also see there is a large price gap between my original pump and the replacement, about $70 worth that was NOT refunded to me. Thing is, my original pump still exists, but had been re-branded as the Kraken Elite, for a higher price, which I would just chalk up as 3 years of inflation - not my problem. But of course this greedy company didn't want to lose more money and replace with an equivalent, so they opted to downgrade me without my permission. When I called to complain and search for a better solution I was met with a brick wall of "this is the decision head office has made". When I asked them to re-evaluate the situation, as I feel though I am being ripped off, they instead strengthened there position of "this is what you're getting, take it or leave it".I offered to compromise, and pay the difference to get the equivalent of what I had before. Nope, no compromise. No apologies or even a hint of empathy. Just cold robotic corporate BS. I ended up returning their replacement unit and taking back my defective one to pursue the manufacturers factory warranty of 6 years. When someone purchases an extended warranty on their product , FOR ADDITIONAL COST, they do so expecting it to be a smooth and hassle free process, and that their product will be replaced with an equivalent or better if none is available. You don't replace someones 55" TV with a 48" because there are no 55's available. You don't replace someones V8 engine with a V6, because it's now depreciated. That's not how warranty works. The fact that Canada Computers wasn't even willing to compromise with me shows how little to me they care about customer satisfaction. I will never purchase another product from this shady, scummy, greedy company ever again, and I suggest you do the same.To any of you floor staff that may be reading this, my quarrel is with your management - you guys have always been good to me.
I dropped 6k on a custom PC build and I got 4 defective parts at a time I went there to tell them about it, but they wanted to charge me like 40 to 50 bucks just to look at it even though I know what’s wrong And say that I damaged it even though there’s no physical damage, and after they touch it, I found physical damage to some of the CPU pins on my motherboard and they refuse To replace the part that I said was defective, which was Two ram modules they said they tested it and found no problems but when I tested, I found a huge amount of issues pointing to the ram so clearly they don’t know what they’re doing and they take advantage of people who don’t know what they’re doing. I watched this man pay $300 for storage upgrade on his laptop, even though he brought in his own part and it would’ve only taken two seconds just to pop the lid off and replace the SSD
Awful company to deal with. Ordered a cpu/motherboard/ram bundle, flip the CPU socket lid off and find out there's a single bent pin. No worries I thought, I'll RMA since their website specifically has a category to CHOOSE 'Defective' as your reason. Went through emails and phone calls with garbage customer support, who since telling me I won't be getting anything back, have ghosted me. Stay away from this unprofessional and uncaring company.
I bought 1300$ of computer parts. Canada Computer made a mistake with the price of my RAMs. I tried to deal with them to solve the issue and they said they would correct the mistake but they just closed the case without telling me. I tried to deal with my bank to get my money back. Canada Computer finally made a refund but the day after they litterally cancelled it! I'm still trying to get my money back since then. They are the worst!
Canada Computers, 263 Queen Street E Unit 9. Brampton, ON L6W 4K6 location. Worst customer service possible. They should consider shutting it down. They have a theft problem, and threats customers like they are there to steal something. If you have a high theft rate perhaps looking at your staff may be a good idea. According to a Canadian Retail Security Survey conducted by the Retail Council of Canada, staff theft will account for 18.4% of retail loss in 2022 in Canada; each employee theft event costs on average approximately $1,289 Canadian dollars.Jun 21, 2023. While this review is not a representation of all Canada Computers locations, just this Brampton location listed above.
Just 4 days ago i bought a bnew open box rtx 4090 from you guys. When i went home to install the gpu, i did not hear a click while plugging in the 12vhpwr cable connector and to find out that the retention clip on the gpu side is chipped. Went back to the store to have a replacement and they say it's a user error. This is not my first time with 12vhpwr connectors In fact i purchased a 4080 super just last week to replace it for the 4090 i bought from you. And if you can check your sales records, i also bought an rtx 4090 last year but sold it for personal reason, so i know how to properly plug and unplug it. I will not argue anymore nor force a return but please make inspection more thorough. I'm a regular customer and i trusted you guys i did not expect a rough experience.
My experience with Canada Computers is mainly 'in store' experience. The stock levels listed on their website are fairly accurate, so I use their website to check pricing and inventory. When there's something I want to buy, It's easy to check which store is likely to have what I want. Since I live in the GTA, there are multiple locations available to me, or I can ask my local store to have it brought in from another store. When you're in the store, nobody really bothers you (I like it that way), but finding someone to help when you need it can be somewhat of a challenge at times. I always know what I'm going to buy before I get there, so I usually only need help in finding something that their website says they have in stock.Accurate stock levels for all stores can be seen at a glance, and is my goto store for decent pricing.
Brought a printer from them that unfortunately wasn't working. When I took it back, they told me that they can't refund me the total amount because it was out of the box. They will only refund me the extended warranty which is only $11!They told me all sales are final on printers. This was never listed on the receipt. I am now disputing this charge and demanding my money back. I fine this is highly suspicious and deceitful. I'll now think twice about doing business with them. Stay away if you can!***Update: I got a call from the manager manager who apologize for the situation. He told me that Canon technicians were the greatest. He told me they managed to get it working at the store and to come by and they’ll show me.I spoke to the tech. He tried to convince me that the printer was working, but even he himself had trouble getting it to work. I ended up getting my money back!! I got very lucky.
I've built 7 PCs and at least half my parts were bought from Canada Computers. Never had a bad in-store experience, though their website/mobile app experience could use some improvement. For example, their display units somehow count towards their stock of a product??? Stupidest thing I'd ever heard since they don't sell their display units.Shipping costs are also quite bad, but I suppose they aren't high-volume enough to have a good relationship with couriers.
Website quite meh. I'd recommend going in-store instead. They have a habit of showing display units (some of which they don't sell) as a part of their stock in stores, which was frustrating because one time I took a bus across a city for over an hour only to find the 1 unit remaining was a display unit that they couldn't sell.Could also be nice if they had cheaper shipping, the prices seem like what a normal person would get when shipping items, not really what a company's shipping costs should be on the scale of their operations.
i took my computer in because things kept crashing, not only did they not fix the issue, but after i brought it in something completely unrelated broke too. they couldnt find a cause for either problem.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING, AND I MEAN ANYTHING from Canada Computers. God forbid you have a problem, you are on your own. I spoke to the service manger at head office and he basically told me to go pound salt on an item that didn't work out of the box.
I ordered a monitor, on line, for a pickup at their North York store. I checked the website two days later. The order was cancelled by Canada Computers. I called their help line and enquired as to why. They said it was unavailable at that store but it was available at other stores. I could go and buy it at one of the other stores. I asked why could they just not arrange to have it picked up at the North York store. I was told that was possible but I would have to call the North York store. At that point I ended the conversation. Canada Computers brags about being Canadian owned. If all Canadian companies carried on business like Canada Computers what does it say about our future.
worst company to buy from, customer service sucks, I would never recommend any one to buy from Canada computers. bought over $3000 of desktop parts to build my own, some of the parts were not compatible and they would not return it or replace it, and it was Canada computer recommending the parts for me.
I bought a new computer from them and I am pretty savvy when it comes to desktop computers and most things tech, but not laptops. Ethan on the sales side was knowledgeable, did not talk down to me, but in terms I could understand, was service oriented and he made some great suggestions for some of the accessories I was looking for. On the service side I wish I could remember the names of the two guys who were working on October 5, 2023, but they were outstanding as well. As for the person I think was the store manager, he was splendid.
They are the WORST company to deal with. If you value customer service and customer loyalty this is NOT the store for you. My only regret now is I could not leave a lower score than 1. They have false advertising on their price guarantee policy (in fact there is none because they have so many exclusion conditions there is no point of having a policy). When I tried to discuss this I was basically ignored. Great service after purchasing more than $1k of merchandise - I will not return.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
