cambridge-artisan.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives cambridge-artisan.com a fairly low score on the platform: 21.2. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Suspicious. Unsafe. Doubtful.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 21.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to cambridge-artisan.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Suspicious. Unsafe. Doubtful. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning cambridge-artisan.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between cambridge-artisan.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of cambridge-artisan.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of cambridge-artisan.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. cambridge-artisan.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether cambridge-artisan.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether cambridge-artisan.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, cambridge-artisan.com.

Ordered a pair of shoes and by accident clicked 2 pairs exactly the same - mailed straight away to cancel second pair - told could not cancel as despatched but still waited over a month for delivery! When they arrived they stunk of glue and quality was really poor not a bit like pictures - also too small - contacted them to return advised a would need to pay to return them as they need to be sent back to Asia. They said they offer free returns but need to pay £9.95 per pair to return - how is this free? Will be contacting my bank to try to get my money back - please do not use this company!
I ordered 2 Blake summer shirts from this company, then I read the shocking reviews and instantly regretted my purchase. I did receive them 4 weeks after I ordered them as they came from Asia and not as stated Cambridge. They arrived today I was expecting to take them to the charity shop but was pleasantly surprised they are as described. They need to come clean about where they are based and they may get better reviews.
Item arrived as expected after about a month, I ordered large from their size chart item came up very small. Then came the issues on returning the item. I was offered a 10% refund without returning the item (£3.40) or send it to their 'warehouse' but if the item was lost or damaged in transit there would be no refund, I could also pay the postage on a replacement item. I regret using this company who seem to take no accountability for their undersized garments and make returns unrealistic.
Pretty sure this is a scam company. Website and ads look very professional but I placed my order for a cap in early August and it’s still not arrived despite several exchanges of email. They advertise 8-12 days. They claimed it was Evri’s fault, but the Evri tracker has never moved from “we’re expecting it” on 14th August. A week ago they said they’ll send another one, but nothing changed with the delivery status.I’m going to request a refund off my credit card company.
Ordered two pairs of moccasins in good faith. Waited six weeks for them to arrive (we later discovered) from China. Shoes were too narrow and a tight elastic band inside the shoes painfully pinched, so I sought to return them. Then we get the series of emails that 'value our custom, 'value their eco-friendly process', value just about everything except their own customer service and experience. In a nutshell, send them back to China if you want a refund! Will put this one down to experience but hope this reviews helps others...
If I could give no stars I would.. warning to other potential shoppers.. DONT… ordered items nearly 8 weeks ago … not arrived , agree with other comments about this company.. scam….Don’t be fooled by web page etc.. wish I had read reviews before purchasing from them.
An awful company ordered shirts i have been waiting over a month. They refuse to refund despite many requests have gone through credit card company to get refund.
Do not use this company,A MAXIMUM 14 business day delivery and we are now on 23 days. Absolutely shocking service. Get your footwear elsewhere folks and save yourself the hassle of having to message this bunch of incompetents!
AVOID.Item lost in transit and they refuse to refund or replace. Item ordered 16th August and still nothing 10th September. They have zero customer service skills. Not UK based as they advertise, in fact from China.Do not order from this company! I have reported them to my bank to retrieve the money as they are completely useless!AVOID AVOID AVOID
Ordered a dress after being lured by clever instagram ads and a seemingly legit website. Terrible mistake and I’m kicking myself now. It took a month to arrive and the quality is laughable. Nothing like the pictures. And now I will have to pay to return it to China. I’m furious.
Great scammers and fraud people? Take money but never deliver the order. Does not disclose their location, phone contact A Rebot they named Lisa send you emails on gives one excuse or other as having not been delivered. Shame 😳 on them for unscrupulous diggers.P Hayat, 07/09/2024,
Absolute rip off I ordered 2 caps on 14th of August we are now on 11th of September Lots of excuses environment, out of stock etcThey also don’t tell you they come from china !!! If I could give no stars I wouldI hate being ripped off I work hard for my money
Adding my voice to the many others taken in by this shameful company. Substandard clothing and shoes sold behind a shop front using the illusion of quality with the English city name ‘Cambridge’ and the fancy connotations of the word ‘Artisan’. Clever photography of poor products and delaying tactics with a bombardment of ‘your shipment is on it’s way’. I complained bitterly when my shoddy shoes arrived only to THEN find out you can only get a refund by paying yourself to ship back to China (we do not have a UK warehouse). Charlatans. I am also going to complain to Trading Standards. How dare foreign trade be allowed to manage their business in Britain this way.
Adding this in the hope it saves others. Purchased in good faith and the items are, at best, poor. Like others say they came on the slow boat from China and are rubbish. I reported to Paypal in the hope that they never arrive and I'm refunded. Unfortunately, EVRI took a picture of my front door so I probably have to chalk this up to a life experience. Please do not use - absolute scam.
Avoid!!!Like the majority of people reviewing wish I had read reviews as the website looks good and genuine.Similar experience ordered shoes which were on the way the day after ordering. After tracking and seeing they were coming from Asia immediately thought I had been scammed and resigned myself that I probably wouldn't ever see the shoes and if I did they would probably be dolls shoes. Not far wrong there, yes the order did arrive after 5 weeks and yes they were too small and awful quality. Absolute con but certainly not paying a penny more to return them. Just seen them on e bay for £10 which is probably what they are actually worth rather than the £25 they charge. Avoid at all costs as they are the modern day Robin Hood set up.
This company took over 7 weeks to send items ordered they arrived . but are not the same quality or size as pictured, They advertised on Facebook and i ordered on the website which would have you believe they are a British based company. there not! Don't get ripped off like me. AVOID!
I believe this is a fraudulent company. It states it is Cambridge based, it’s not. It’s based in China. One month later my goods have not arrived. I have made a successful claim for undelivered goods via PayPal. I did get email responses but the story changed every time; I was told the item was in transit three times despite their tracking showing it hadn’t left China, this was the reason given to not cancel or refund the order. when I asked for proof of item in transit they said it was still being processed but couldn’t refund me. Then they said it was out of stock. At this point I realised I wasn’t going to get a refund or the goods. They had reviews on their website at the time I ordered, all positive and I suspect fake. Every ad on Facebook started to get comments about no goods received, or poor quality goods or a refund policy that was incredibly expensive. Comments have now been hidden for every ad. Do not touch with a barge pole.
Cambridge Artisan Your company is a con, your cheap, the material is terrible I opened the envelope to nasty cheap mules they reaked of solvent smelled like dry cleaning chemical, nasty material terrible cotton single stitch dangerous slippery soles doesn't go without saying late delivery, false information about stock you run out in UK & had to get from supplies abroad....its no wonder you don't put this information that your a overseas china based company you would be out of business, you said the item originally was late because there was no in stock here in UK false information or basically a lie. For me to send back to get a refund would be pointless as I would be spending the same again as I would receive the discount & honestly do you think I'd trust you to refund me? I'd rather give these away free but then again maybe not as the quality is so crap & the soles to walk on are so dangerous I wouldn't want anyone slipping injuring themselves. You make money off the likes of innocent people & you exchange for horrendous what seems to mock up samples as a final product you have got to be joking me. I hope your business burns to the ground you people deserve nothing good in life for cheating the good & trusting public out there. To say you are a Eco mindful company & go on about O2 emissions crap! You use chemicals to produce such cheap material that actually stinks of toxicity. I'm so sorry angry 👿😡👿😡👿
Avoid at all costs.... cheap and shoddy, yet another clever glamourous marketing scam...Always check reviews before ordering...order took 4 weeks to come and when they arrived the mules were poor fit, poorly made and when I requested a refund had to post back to Asia not Cambridge at my own expense or could have a free exchange but would have to send a further £9.95 to cover shipping.... don't think so, will just clock it up to experience 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😠
Do not bother, this company’s web site tells a pack of lies. Purports to be a UK company but is Chinese. Free Premium Shipping by DHL or Royal Mail, actually slow boat from China, finally by Evri. Ordered at beginning of August, now September and still nothing.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
