The algorithm detected potential high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert. tags above. Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning caixabank.es, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between caixabank.es and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of caixabank.es. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of caixabank.es, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. caixabank.es is a suspect website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether caixabank.es has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether caixabank.es boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, caixabank.es.

This bank took 25 Euros for a 150 Euro withdrawal. I needed the cash so had to put up with a completely fraudulent exchange rate and to add to the injury they slapped on a 2.95 Euro fee! Companies like Caixa gives banks a terrible reputation and that is all Caixa deserves! Disgusting behaviour, will never withdraw money in Spain again. I ordered a Wise currency card!
I give one star to this bank because I am unable to give it zero stars. The treatment received by one of the offices in Premia de Mar store 0317 was arrogant and condescending, deplorable customer services. Instead of resolving the issue, they gave me a Spanish phone number to call. The email address for complaints, (that is the one that starts servicio cliente but I am not allowed to post here) is also unmanned and complaints go unanswered. My issue being that they require ID to be sent over email and they force the client to send this with no password or encription. Totally unacceptable in this day and age where everyone is exposed to cybercrime. Possibly the worst bank in Spain to bank . Avoid if you can.
I asked a simple question via their web form. Where on earth I can pay a fee in cash in the city I live. (Since they are digitalizing everything, in all banks, there seems to be just no option to pay in cash anymore, at least where I live.) 1.They responded with a standard info about payments which can be found on their page and doesn't correspond to my question;2. To fulfill the form I had to indicate a ton of unnecessary and personal information like the id number, all this just to be able to make a general question which had nothing to do with the personal data.
The worst customer service ever. We are abroad, we obviously cannot go to Spain for travel restrictions, so we called the customer service number. They made us wait more than 25 minutes, they did not attend us, not even mention solve the problem!I DO NOT recommend it if you want to keep your mental sanity!
I went to my local Caixa bank a couple of times now in Mahon calle s'Arravaleta and one or the ladies there is systematically unpleasant and condescendant. This time I had to leave before finishing what I went for as she was so rude. It is unacceptable. In the future I will book an appointment with Cristina each time I have questions as she was lovely, professional and very efficient.
Pathetic, absolutely horrifing experience. The bank froze my business account without any notice, resulting in delayed transfer and harmed my business. Customer service is non-existent, when I call them, they just hang up. Branch staffs are rude and confused all the time (Except for one, who is quite nice and helpful but could not help me in practical anyway)-
-10 stars THE WORST BANK IN THE WORLD!!!! They freeze my account literally every 6 months saying I need to show my passport which I have now shown 6 times and they have photocopies and it will not change for 10 years!! Now I can not send money to my account to pay my direct debits!! I have contacted the bank several times and they just do not help! Now my account will fall in to arrears and water/electricity/internet will probably charge me for late payments!!! I HATE THIS BANK WITH A PASSION!!!
This bank takes absolutely no notice of its customers. They never acknowledge complaints. They very conveniently avoid any complaint against a member of its staff even when they are giving the worst service ever!!! Avoid Caixabank at all costs.
No recomandable y muy poco fiableI would give a 0 if possible. I wish I read before the reviews.I changed my account from bankia to caixa since bankia doesn't exist anymore. They assured me that didn't have any cost this account as it was with bankia. As soon I activate the account they charged me 51€ as maintenance cost. Not realible at all. Won't recommend to anyone.
Caixabank has zero regard for its customers. It closes branches without notice leaving customers with awkward journeys to find a new branch. Very often branches refuse to speak to each other and force customers to attend their own branch to resolve issues. They freeze accounts without notice if they want further information from people. The customer service operatives are normally ill informed and always rude and unhelpful, often working from home and so unable to transfer calls. All in all an absolute disaster of a bank and one to be avoided if at all possible.
Is been a month trying to open a bank account (online and at branch). I feel offended that this people can be consider bankers. In the branch they obliged for contracting services cost of around 80 eur per month or investing 50k with their assets management, without being able to provide detailed information. Online (imagin bank) , there is another user registered with my phone number and canceled my application. I am a finance specialist with significant budget to invest in Spain. Probably I should chose another bank, right?
All I can advise you folks out there is please avoid CaixaBank. It's not only that they're immoral, they are amoral. My account was frozen for unknown reasons, and my recent transfer disappeared. After many complaints part of my money resurfaced, but they could not account for the disappearance of about 40 Euros. It may sound like an insignificant amount, but it's not right for a financial institution of a developed country to stiff a customer in such blatant manner.
I had a free online account with no commission of any kind. Bankia has been acquired by Caixa and was decided by Caixa to change my contract without to be informed and without to have my agreement, they are charging me 140€ per year, today I sent a complaint I am ready to leave them, I strongly believed that they are losing many customers.
Legalized thieves and criminals, very high commissions without proper explanation they drain your account. To be clear: I deposit 150 euro when I opened the account, 2 weeks after when my card arrived didn’t work because already out of credit for commissions (not for opening the account)… The employee and manager knew exactly my income (300 euros per month), so if those are the commissions I would have expected a clear explanation…But if this isn’t enough…when I went to the bank asking to close my bank account, they told me to not do anything and "let the account die alone" ... subsequently they continued to send me higher and higher bills, threatening me to pursue me if I didn't pay. Employees thieves and not at all professional. Your money are NOT SAFE with them!!! Stay away and save yourself!!!
They can improve if the close and stop bulling customers. We was with bankia and ended up with this shitbank. We had an agreement but they do not want to honour that agreement. Now they send us letters and threats. If you can choose someone else. You can solve this by doing what Bankia did promise us, instead of working as you guys are doing. Our house are listed for sale just to get out of your system. We do not have the income to pay 2 different loans that was supposed to be made into one after new evaluation.Shame on you
Such a bad service from Caixa since they have taken over from Bancaja. We were requested Tax information which we provided in early April along with up to date KYC,just to cover all bases and I cannot get Caixa to respond to me. They have blocked our account now! I have called, emailed, WhatApp, my lawyer has been into the local branch and still no response. My debit card has expired and they have the wrong country on my account following the TFR from Bancaja. What do I do now?? Surely it is not too difficult to let me know if I need to do something else or unblock my account as you have everything??!! Very angry and frustrated with the service.
Writing this review is perhaps a waste of time as they do not employ anybody who can read and write, let alone understand that it is our money in their hands. They cannot even put their correct email address on their website. They have refused my request to close my account and have continued to pay out money I do not owe despite my strict instructions not to do so. When I made out a cheque to transfer most of my money to my English account, they bounced the cheque without any explanation and charged me 270 pounds for the privilege, which Santander paid without any enquiry. They continue to charge me 120 euros p.a. for an inoperable account. I needed a virtual signature which I could not obtain without a virtual signature! This is theft in any language and I shall pursue them for my money in England. They have now taken the last 2 euros in my account against their fees for the inoperable account
I am absolutely delighted with the bank - compared to my bank here in the UK they are outstanding - the app works well and if you need help the help line is answered quickly without having to go through dozens of menus or use of voice recognition to identify the problem - they speak excellent English and they deal with things with a minimum of fuss and a sensible but not excessive amount of security. They actually try to help proactively. Brilliant - oh that banks were that helpful in the UK!
I don’t know why this bank is getting such a bad rap! I can only speak from own experience and I cannot rave about them enough! I opened an account with Caixa in Camposol just before the cursed lockdown and was unable to get into branch to complete the sign up. The team there were helpful, friendly and could not do enough to assist! I had issues with setting up the authorisation site, and they sorted everything there for me, I was long in there after the branch had closed and they made sure I was happy before I left! Nothing was too much trouble. I haven’t had the pleasure of dealing with their contact centre, but from a branch point of view I couldn’t be more impressed!
Horrible customer service. Tried to open an account for 3 months with meetings at the bank an online. 30 emails later, still no account. Reason: technical difficulties. Stay away.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
