Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning bunnings.co.nz, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between bunnings.co.nz and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of bunnings.co.nz. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of bunnings.co.nz, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. bunnings.co.nz is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether bunnings.co.nz has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

No service, tradesperson who was available didn’t appear to even be able to say ‘ be with you in a minute’. After waiting and following him for 2 aisles I decided that Mitre 10 is a much more pleasurable experience and left.
In early June I went to Bunnings Westgate as we were renovating our entire kitchen. The first time we went to Bunnings we were there for over an hour looking at all the different kitchen samples and bench tops. During this time not one staff member asked if we needed any help so we ended up walking out. A couple of weeks later we went back to the same store only to leave again after being advised that the only one who could help us was on her break. After waiting for 15 minutes we left. In early August we ended up going back for a third time where the same two female staff members were sitting at the desk. As we were walking around looking at a few samples we thought one of them would come and ask if we needed any help. However again no one asked, despite us being there for 20 minutes. I went to the desk to ask for help but the female staff member was more interested in helping her colleague on the computer. It was like she was purposely avoiding eye contact with me because she didn’t even acknowledge me standing there. After 5 minutes of waiting at the counter, we ended up walking out again. Supporting local businesses is important to us, as times are hard. But due to the lack of help and support, we were left with no choice but to buy our $12,000 Kaboodle kitchen at the Whangarei Branch instead.
Constellation Drive - asked for plumbing assistance, was told to go to plumbing desk. Went to plumbing and they have no desk. Went back to ask where desk was because I could not locate. Got a blank look, then asked for assistance, she called but no one came, called a second time and still no one. Another worker who could see I was not happy tried to help and looked for someone on the floor. She said a lady in PAINT can help after she finished with paint customer, I did show her the pipe and connection and she said she could help me. I waited, then she took me to the shelves to tell me she could not help. Another wasted trip to Bunnings.
Tried to get bunnings to honour their 15% price guarantee by matching Noel Leeming for some Philips Hue lights. Wendy (customer service) refused to do honour the price promise, so now I have to take Bunnings to the disputes tribunal for a breach of the fair trading act, What a hassle.. and awful customer service.
False advertising, no physical stock, rude staff. Complete waste of time and money spent on getting to Bunnings Petone. I will never visit this store again.
i bought a rust proofing product , white knight, sfter using it , i became very sick. it attacked my central nervous system and i developed pneumonia , critical car ein hosp, very lucky to be alive .i went to bunnings Glenfield to , just say to them .maybe put this product behind lock and key and have someone with experience talk to customer on how dangerous it is .No the manger wouldn't return my call , terrible.
asked for a sandpaper disc showing my old one to match, found it, then asked another girl for another item & she said "you can't walk around the store carrying that sandpaper, you will have to pay for it separately here or leave it here". There were other people carrying things around the store & I was going to purchase several other items, so I walked out, complained to the guy at door & asked for my original disc back & he wouldn't. Went elsewhere. Won't be back.
DeWalt 18 Volt 5 amp batteries went up on price from $155.00NZ to $200.00 on the 24th May 2024, approximately one week before kings birthday weekend, will be watching to see if they have a SALE price on these back to the original price
Bought a bird net clearly marked "4 x 4 metres" when I unfolded it at home it was 4 x 2 metres. Took it back; they couldn't care less. Also bought an extension cord - discovered that the socket was warped (manufacturing defect); they offered to replace it - ALL those extension cords had the same defect !!! - Very bad attitude "no-one else has complained" Got a refund & never going there again.
Posted an honest review of a product that only bunnings sell. This product was purchased by my customer. I ended up installing a better quality product that wasn't broken and cost the same. The bunnings review team rejected my review because it violated their terms and conditions. They did not tell me why it violated their terms and conditions and added this message, "If you would like a follow up call related to your review, please reply with your phone number and one of our team members will get back to you."So I responded to the email as advised and the email bounces back with a, "Mail Delivery Subsystem Delivery Status Notification (Failure)".Great job bunnings team, glad your team and systems are every bit as great as your crappy products.
Bunnings glenfield..do you ever open the trade entrance? A significant amount of the time it’s closed because there’s “ no parking left inside” …when u go in and look there 3 rubbish bins, cupla packs of timber , floor sweeping machine etc taking up 5-6 park spaces…if ur not gonna let ur tradies in how r u gonna sell em the timber…? Priority IMO is paying customers not bins etc..
We had a plumbing problem needed sorted and needed advice on the right Product .i remembered BunningsOn ti rakau drive auckland nz, a guy helped us years ago so I hoped he was still there,so we went and he was Bamal or baman?Wonderful service and great to meet him again some one who knows what he talking about. Brilliant
Terrible store management. Went to buy sheep/chicken pellets at Bunnings Petone, product on top shelf needed forklift to move to ground level. Asked staff for assistance no help. Fortnight later product still on top shelf! What's the point of having stock that customers can't access? Staff/management are lazy
seem to only employ people of low experience and intellegence also when you try to ring them you are left waiting for an age. Even though they must be making a sqillion they do not have anywhere near enough staff. i recently drove 40 km to Rockingham store to buy a tin of paint that I had been assured over the phone by a member of the paint department they DEFFINITELY had in stock, but when I arrived they did not have it because the staff member who works in the PAINT dpt didn't know the difference between semi-gloss and satin paint. I got the manager to come down but got no joy from him either
If you want great customer service and experienced staff Don’t GO to Bunnings Shirley, if I could give you a 0 for customer service I would. Because of your extremely poor customer service and the ignorant rude attitude of your staff, you lost an $800 sale. Well done for making my experience with you the worst ever. Ended up going to mitre 10 where the staff know what they are actually talking about. Truly shameful
If you looking for a honest advice on gardening tip at Bunnings Glenfield. Look not further than Brian. What a fabulous person with lots of patience and willingness to help giving to the best customer I’ve see at any Bunnings or Mitre 10 store. Thank you for your help today and as always when I come into your department for gardening advice. I really appreciate your help. Thank you Regards Eugene
I love Bunnings but please Bunnings change courier drivers from post haste to someone else in Dunedin. I will stop getting things delivered if you keep using this company. They won’t even try to deliver goods they will make excuses why they couldn’t even when they perfectly well could have. Useless company, no good!! Bunnings please change courier
Absolutely amazing customer service from Paige!!I organised a click and collect for a WIFI extender for my family in Ruatoria.I am based in Darwin, my family collecting this item have just flown in from Perth, and Paige who works there was absolutely amazing!! Ensuring that we were able to pay and collect the item fast and efficientlyIt’s Xmas time and busy, So Paige personally went down to the store floor and made sure there was stock, before helping me complete a click and collect for my family to pick up immediatelyCollection was fast, easy and simple Thank you Gizzy Bunnings!
Negative:It can be a hassle to make a complaint for a faulty product, but this is usually handled with the least possible bureaucracy.Positive:Bunnings are mostly selling quality products. Their pricing is more honest than that of other competitors, not first inflated, to be discounted later. Having Bunnings close by allows us to forget Mitre 10, Placemakers, and Briscoes.
Bunning Warehouse’s click&collect service are very bad. Called today and found out my order been canceled because is out of stock but the payment went through when I purchased on online. Bunning should honor me the price of the product because the system problem causing very inconvenient with the customer. And change your customer service at Mt Wellington store. She not knowledgeable enough to service. Also fix your systems if there’s no stocks!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
