Warning.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why did [SITE)NAME] earn such a low score? We came up with the 4.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to btp.police.uk's industry. In addition to the site's creation date, the algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Young. Unsafe. Warning. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection

While some are self-explanatory concerning btp.police.uk, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between btp.police.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of btp.police.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of btp.police.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. btp.police.uk is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether btp.police.uk has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether btp.police.uk boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, btp.police.uk.

they repond to messages in about 20-30m, very slow and the individual you report can already be in a different country with 2 kids and 1 on the way, dreaming for a new life, so yeahvery slow response back
Only giving 1 star to write review. I work for Southern and was assaulted, all be it minor by a teenager asked to get off a pedal cycle.Reported incident and waited for a response to obtain full details.Couldn't get through on the phone to chase report up so emailed. Got no response from that so lodged a complaint and was told I would be contacted in a couple of days. Over a week now and still nothing. Feel sorry for the traveling public. Very poor service and total lack of interest.
A huge thank you to the British Transport Police Officer that came to my aid this morning. I broke down on the extremely busy Painshill Roundabout Cobham Surrey during rush hour. (Not a pleasant experience) My car lost all power, so no hazard lights to warn other motorists. Fortunately for me officers had stopped to assist an RTA and I was able to get their attention. They stayed with me and arranged to have my vehicle rescued to a safe area where I am now waiting for the RAC.
Does every train journey now have to be accompanied by endless repitition of the inane and ungrammatical slogan 'See it. Say it. Sorted.'? And has any serious crime ever been stopped or solved by the use of the 61016 helpline to report something 'suspicious'? This is mere PR at its worst.
BTP officers are just as rude as other police officers, majority of them have no life experience or have no idea how to talk to people. Not helpful they just wanna get rid of you and not listen. No wonder we don't trust the police
I texted their number when i was abused on the train by an English man if course the message didn't even go thru .tired ringing then took one hour and didn't even answered 😒. Services of a civilised country at their best keep up the good work ,scams.
Absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional service! These people keep being paid by the members of the public without showing their respect to do whatever, even minimal work. This is my personal experience with them when a matter was reported and they did not want to spend even a minute to investigate it. On the top of that they are so arrogant not to consider complaints against their lack of motiation. It looks like they are happy to keepbeing funded by the public and to feel proud of themselves to be part of the UK authorities. Of course there is no need for them to do anything more.
I had a large suitcase stolen on a UK train, reported it immediately but it took 2 days to even receive the full form. After chasing 2 weeks later, turns out they’re not investigating and forgot to send a letter to that effect. Very disappointed and definitely feeling less safe on trains now.
I deal with the BTP in London on a regular basis due to the nature of my job and I can tell you categorically they are useless a waste of flesh and bones
I dealt with PC Connor & 3 other officers over a theft on a train at Maidstone East. I found them professional, more than dedicated & they helped me get my luggage back.Brilliant response from these Maidstone based officers.
British Transport Police is by far the worst and the most incompetent justice institution! I do not have words to describe how bad these people working there really are. Is clear to me what UK is all about..... This is not democracy, is idiocracy..... A country where police arrest and abuse disabled and vulnerable people for free just because they can't get to real criminals. In 7 years of UK i have never ever seen a real thief or criminal arrested. But i seen hundreds of times police abusing old people, disabled people, foreigners that just needed information to find their way around...... Including myself and my wife.... BTP, you are a disgrace! Don't call all UK's private media when your cops get abused! Call them when your incompetent staff bullies and abuses disabled, old and vulnerable innocent victims! Shame! Big shame!
My suitcase was stolen off the train last month. Part of the hold music details the number to text and the email address, so I thought I would send an email while I waiting. I filled out all the forms the website told me too and was surprised how the description box had a word limit so I couldn't detail my whole itinerary. When I finally got through to an operator, I told him I'd done this and asked how effective the btp are in finding stolen property. He became highly passive aggressive towards me after this. A week went by and I requested an update. Another week went by without hearing anything and when I rang them again, they said they had no record of my crime report on file and as it had been two weeks, there was no longer any cctv available. I still do not understand how this could have happened and wouldn't be surprised if the operator had deleted my report (I don't know if he would have been able to do so, it's just a suspicion).
The person I spoke with did a great job at calming me down, a hysterical parent. My daughter was in a carriage frightened by an angry group shouting at people and banging windows. Thanks so much for the calming support, patience, and people skills. It was a great help to me, and it also helped my daughter stay calm knowing there was that support in the background. No idea how they got me calmed down, but thanks so much.
Shocking absolutely shocking! Filled twice for a subject access request due to being attacked by a dog on a train, all I wanted was a copy of my report that I filed. My solicitor provided me with an email address of a police who said I had to request it as he could not provide her with a copy due GDPR (fair enough). I then email and This is the response I received “Unfortunately that is not something I can help you with as it's not something covered by my team” that’s it. Are they for real not pointing me in the right direction or an apology for not getting a response. Just disgusting.
How can I thank the British transport police for helping at Leeds station with support and help also gave me a special treat with blessings god bless British transport police I want to say a big thank you for being a 5 star you guys are better than met police
Had an absolute nightmare on the thameslink once however both the staff and the BTP came so rapidly, I can only be grateful for what they did!Best people to call when in need of support or anything to do with an incident!
Today, 15.05.2023, at Leeds Train Station, around 7 pm, myself and my girlfriend were verbally and physically abused by the most incompetent justice people called ,,BTP". Instead of helping us, these people behaved like bullies : (big massive man and aggressive blonde female), actually abused us. The woman blocked my way, touched me inappropriate a few times and i allmost got arrested for a 23£ double train ticked that i paid for and shown to them. I had my personal Trainline online app and the original printed paper tickets. Despite that, the blonde b.t.p. woman abused my disabled girlfriend with absolutely no reason and threaten both of us with illegal forced arrest. After the 2 b.t.p. saw the tickets, they changed their mind and they disappeared, without apologizing at least for the problems they caused us, and they just to run away and pretend nothing happened. Is this uk's Police??? I wonder..... If i was a big mafia boss or a famous rich person, would they behave the same? I am sure 100% not! Police in UK discriminates and bully innocent people to do their corrupt targets! Every time we encountered Police, we had issues with them! Why? Because we are foreigners and poor! UK Police.... A disgrace!
Absolute waste of time. I was verbally and physically harrased by tfl staff. They even called the police on me. Once BTP came and spoke both to myself and the tfl members in question, they realised that they were in the wrong and I was right. I said I wanted to report them for harrasing me and putting their hands on me. BTP said they won't do anything that day because I'm just angry and have to calm down. But still had to take down all my personal information. Disgusting people. I was fuming at this refusal, and even though I tried again many many times to report it, even contacting 111 and I was just transferred back to BTP. They've been untterly useless and unhelpful. What fools.
If they don't exist would not be any diffrences. Lot of kids travelling now for free, abusing the staff and passengers and when you ring them they say there are no one available to come. Even when someone was stabbed to death at the station I would stil have my doubts if they come
If I could give -1000 as a rating I would. As a young female, I was cuffed without being detained or read my rights, with my friend filming all that transpired, after trying to help BTP with an incident we witnessed on the tube home on st Patrick’s days. One very unhelpful BTP officer who was on the biggest power trip did not like that we gave our statements and was on our way home and overheard heard me saying how unhelpful he was being so decided that was the right time to cuff me, drag me out of the station and put me in a police car without reading my rights or saying why I was being detained. It has haunted me for the past week and I dread to think had my friend not been there what would have happened to me in that police car. I’m too afraid to make a complaint despite the video evidence as we all know it’s gonna be swept under the rug and nothing will come about of it. If you are around the east London (West Ham/Upton park/East Ham/barking) area as a young woman, please be careful, even if you’re trying to help.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
