brightlending.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives brightlending.com a pretty low trust score on the platform: 15.4. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 15.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to brightlending.com's industry. The algorithm flagged its seemingly suspicious success, even with a newly registered domain. It also detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning brightlending.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between brightlending.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of brightlending.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of brightlending.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. brightlending.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether brightlending.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether brightlending.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, brightlending.com.

Wow wat a rip off this company is for 950 loan they want 20 minimum pays of 240 sumthing biweekly that's near 3000 sumthing in interest charge for 950 triple the amount borrowed ..wat a f*'$& joke you guys should be ashame to rob people like that ..karma is a maf#$@er
This company keeps changing their company ID within the banking system to get around stop payments with your bank. I had to contact national debt relief to get help. They took on bright lending as one of the credits they’re gonna help me with. I put on a stop pay request before the payment even posted, but because this company is greedy asf, they decided to change the internal company ID, which then went around the stop payment. I’m so angry. This payment overdrafted my account. By hundreds of dollars. And they did not care. Do not ever use this company. EVER. They’re rude, useless, and predatory.
What an F ing joke this company is. Stay far away from using them. They tried to tell me my bank account was invalid because the bank cuts off the last 3 numbers on the account from the bank statements. You're all a bunch of people who have a brain made out of stupidity. Read the information in front of you before you speak and make yourself look stupid.
Worst company ever! They are robbers! Payback is 6X what the loan was. Way to take advantage of someone! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Very disappointed!
they are terrible I having a issue with them now I paid them every week so last month I check around middle of month they say I owe them 500.00 dollars I was like ok I just paid them today they still say I owe them 537.00 listen I paid them every week then they tell me how it broke down no if you say I owe you 94.00 and I paid you ever week come on now and the just told me I be finished in July 26 that crazy I appreciate the help but I will not be doing anymore busy with this company at all just speaking from the heart.
I am very disappointed with this Company , I payed off my other loan they sent me emails saying I qualified for another loan lower interest and more funds , only to deny it " This is terrible the way they do their customers, shame on them , I will never do business with them ever again " ..They are also loan sharks , @nd greedy " ...Jah will hold you accountable " ...@men " ..
So I can't give you a zero. I paid back a loan in full and I thought it was a good idea to do it again which I paid back the second loan . So I went to check the app and it stated that I owe more money on the first loan . So I called and they said I paid out without making arrangements for a payout. So I still owe the interest fee. No they took extra money out of my account and had to put it back after speaking with the bank. They still insist that I owe them on the first loan. They get a big ZERO
What didn't go wrong with this lending company, first of all sly lending practicing they robb you blind, give you no breaks just take your money DON'T DO IT !!!!!!!!
Started getting unrelated spam/scam text messages as soon as filled out application. Company needs to be banned from doing business off Tribal Lands. They are nothing more than con artists preying on people during thier time of need. They expect people to provide them with your Bank name, routing number AND account number before you are even approved. I used a prepaid card account info, no way Im letting these scammers get my true bank info.I traced the first scam text as far as I could and it originated outside of the USA, so they either are affiliated with outside of the country scammers or are selling our info to them. If yiu get any mail from them carefully tape it closed put return to sender and put in a mailbox. Spread the word, don't let your friends or family get conned by these criminals. They are no different than a pick pocket who would steal your wallet. They hide behind being Tribal and on reservation land and use this to their advantage to con people when they are at their most vulnerable! Ridiculous!
Scam of an Indian tribal lending company. Outrageous rates and denials after they mail pre selection letters. U wonder why they charge 700% apr on loans which is over every state max. Welcome to tribal lending
Very preditory and worth reporting them to FTC. They tried to approve me for $950 today with the pay back being 21 payments of $245. So they want over 5 grand paid back for 950. Never ever seen one this bad. I am currently in the middle of filing a report on this company.
I have applied for a loan with this company and got approved , however they sent me a chase check that was fraudulent and was not real. When I went to try to cash the cashiers check the lady informed me that this check was not real and I need to put a block on my social security number
I would give them zero if I could! I do not recommend ANYONE go through them, or other companies like them. You'll get yourself in trouble. I was irresponsible and ran up some credit card bills. Nothing that I couldn't pay off, I just hated having to pay three different bills at three different times during the month. So, I thought if I could get a loan big enough to pay off all three credit card bills, I would have one payment a month. That was the plan. However, getting someone to give me a loan is a different story. I do not have the best of credit because of my stupid decision so banks and credit unions were not willing to work with me. So, I was hoping that maybe a short term like loan might be able to help, with at least two of the bills (they are not big bills). In the past I have used another company, but could never get anymore than 1000, with a bi-weekly payment of no more than 60 dollars. I believe when all is said and done I pay back a little over 2500 dollars. So, I started looking around at other places and came across Brightlending who said I was approved for a whole 600 dollars, with a bi-weekly payment of like 138 dollars for 20 payments! WHAT? The other company gave me twice as much with a payment that was half the payment! I would have ended up paying them back over 3000's dollar for 600 dollars. I was hoping to get help getting out of debt, not getting in more debt. Anyone who thinks that's a good deal, is in desperation. or not very smart. These business can be very helpful but they are not. Instead they prey on those who need help and robs them of their hard earned money that they do not have, which is why they turned to getting short term loans. And I'm hoping some day in the future the government steps in and puts a cap to how much interests these company can charge cause 133% should be illegal. Actually, the government should not only step in and put at cap at like 19% across the board but also allow an action lawsuit for all of us who have been screwed by companies like this.
WHOEVER YOU ARE, DON'T DO IT. IT'S NOT WORTH IT. I applied for an application, used the email that was given to me to send my required documents over and somehow they're claiming they never received the documents. It's honestly ridiculous because I have used the email multiple times to get in touch with a representative but when it comes to my important documents, they never got them and can't explain to me what happened. So now I have worry about my sensitive information and where it could've went if they never got them but I used the email they gave me. I am beyond upset and the representatives I spoke to, couldn't help me or explain to me where it went.
This company is a scam please do not use Bright Lending I promise you will regret it. I paid back loan in less then 24hrs and they still took money from me even tho contract says no penalties if paid off early..SCAM!!!!!
I applied for a loan online , they approved me, later on I received a email stating my loan was declined " ... How do Companies get away with these practices ? Shame on them " ...
I applied for a loan and I was approved in minutes. However, the interest rate was ridiculous! I borrowed $500 and had to pay over $2000 back. Thanks for the approval but I will never use this loan company again nor will I refer anyone.
Want FBI to have investigation on this company and will submit a claim to have that happen , they are a Peice of crap company got approved and no money in account on next business day and no customer service to talk to do not use this company it will ruin your life and your credit I might have to pay for this with no money actually being in my account
This company is very outrageous. They give you a small loan and overly charged you I borrow $300 and had to pay over $1300 back I would never ever in life recommend this company to anyone. if I would have known what I know now they could’ve kept the $300.
I was gonna get a loan with Brightlending. But after careful reviewing of the reviews I have decided that 500% APR is to much for me. So thanks for the reviews. You guys helped me dodge a bullet with this company.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
