Is boutique-retrogaming.com Legit?

I bought a console for 466!! Euro, after installing actually never used it, and shortly after the warranty expires the battery bloats up immensely and destroys the case. At my first try to load and use it. The customer service doesn't want to help :/Extremely low quality product, very disappointing. Never again.

The road from order to delivery wasn't straight, but they are still worth 5 stars.My bank transfer didn't show up on their side, so my order said "on hold" for a long time, but I mailed and asked about it promptly, and they sent the order after I mentioned it.In the order I payed for 2 wireless mini keyboards, got 1 and AZERY when it should be QWERTY.They told me to find another retailer who sold equivalent products, and they would pay for that order. Turns out they reimbursed me and topped it up with some extra compensation!! <3All though it wasn't a straight line, both external factors and their own human-error. They responded promptly, politely, made more than good on their shortcomings and gave excellent customer service. I hope other retailers take note and learn from this company!Retrogaming can take note of this: Please be clear about the price, I was (negatively) surprised when 25% was added because of the VAT. Please write prices with VAT since that is what is the most expected (at least from a Swedish customer). If someone wants the product they will pay for it, but don't let negative surprises popup before paying, that lowers the impression.Apart from the excellent customer experience, they are doing a fantastic work on the compiled (spend a thought of how much work must have gone into doing this) consoles who work out of the box, no hassle, it just works!:DSide-note wouldn't hurt if the facebook group would allow english communication aswell. I know swedish and english, period.

I've been promising to leave this review for weeks now... Having had my first newborn, things have settled down a bit and I've managed to squeeze in some more testing / playtime while the wife has been asleep 🤣Firstly!I am a UK customer 🇬🇧I was a bit apprehensive about the price.... Not because it's not worth it, but it is a fair amount of money...so let me put you at ease immediately... The item arrived exactly as described via DHL... fully tracked along the way. Text messages, the lot...The collection is insane. And an extremely high quality build... All artwork, videos are there.Almost every one of the 75,000 games work flawlessly...literally. Naturally I made a beeline for the more demanding games ie PS3... and they work superb too. I've only come accross a few titles that crash mid game, but I'm sure this can be resolved with a bit of tweaking...The unit itself comes with everything you need.... And it's all very much plug and play.... USB WiFi receiver, UK plug adaptor 🔌 even a pack of haribo sweets which is a nice touch.The customer service is exemplary and my questions have always been met with kindness, patience and just generally very helpful.Quick tip:Don't be put off by the French descriptions, 99% of games are very much English. You just need to re-scrape the games library and it'll replace all French descriptions with English (or your native country) just sign up for a free account on screenscraper.com and let it tick on overnight. I managed to do the entire library across 3 nights.If you want the peace of mind you have the best retro device money can buy, look no further....it covers every console from the beginning of time, right up to PS3/XBox. And generally people still own and use more modern consoles, so combine that with the retrobox 8, you'll probably have every single title worth owning under one roof... It doesn't get better than that really..If you have the money, and are interested, my advice is do it 👌🏼 and enjoy 😊 🎮

ravi , console au top , quelques jeux gamecube(resident evil 4 , burnout takedown, star wars..) , ps2 ,qui rame ou ne se lance pas, mais pour le reste c'est nickel , les jeux n64 sont compliqués a jouer pour certains ,du a la manette specifique differentes des autres plateformes il faut trouver les bons reglages config des manettes, c'est pas evident pour certains jeux et vite decourageant.... , en tout cas merci pour ce petit bijou , c'est du bon boulot pour les nostalgiques
