I ordered an expensive new medical book from booksgoat.com early this month at a deeply discounted price. Unaware that the company was home-based in India, I got anxious when the book didn't arrive in two weeks. I contacted the customer service by email. Giselle answered promptly and kindly offered either to send another book or refund my money. I decided to wait for another couple of days for the shipment. In the next 3 days, I received many follow-up emails from Giselle. She informed me that they had sent another shipment without my request. Two days later, I received the book. If you are treated by the customer service representative like Giselle, there is no way that you get upset by the delays. Will definitely order from them again.
I ordered a book that I really wanted and the price was to the point where I thought too good to be true. Well, I went ahead and ordered, I accidentally put in for two, was my own fault. After being frustrated, looked at how I can contact customer service. Now this was on Friday night last week. Emailed customer service explained my story. Then I read reviews that were not the greatest and really was concerned if this was a scam where I was gonna be taken for the price for both books over mistake I made. Well I received an email back over the weekend that the books already shipped, but they would honor refunding me for one book. They even said they will send me a return sticker and when I receive it just return the book. I checked my credit card today and the refund already gone through. By the way, I received the book if I remember either Tuesday or this past Wednesday so as far as legitimacy with the company, they are 100% far as I am concerned. BTW packaging was great bubble wrapped separately each book.

SCAM ALERT!! Never received my book but they sure took my money. I reached out and they claimed it was an issue with the shipping company but the item was never even shipped. The label was created and it just sat there. They claimed to have the issued a refund but once again, that never happened. I tried emailing them about not receiving the refund and received a mailer error notice! If that’s not a SCAM/FRAUD I don’t what is. I have opened a dispute against them with my credit card company. Don’t waste your time and hard earned money.
