bol.be Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives bol.be a medium trust score on the platform: 63.8. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Small Risk. Standard. Active.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this lower score? We came up with the 63.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to bol.be's industry. The algorithm detected potential activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Small Risk. Standard. Active. tags above. Long story short, please use caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning bol.be, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between bol.be and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of bol.be. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of bol.be, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. bol.be is a somewhat safer website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether bol.be has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether bol.be boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, bol.be.

This is now the second time that an artikel I ordered isn't delivered through the SELECT service. The first artikel was a pair of nice leather shoes. The price was really interesting however, the deliveryday, nothing, waiting for 3 days, nothing. After regular conversations with customer care Bol and 3 weeks later, Bol cancelled my purchase and returned my money. No explanation was given. This time it's an electric paintspray machine. It should have been delivered last Saturday, then Sunday, then Monday, and now maybe today?Customer care Bol says I should give it at least 4 more days. No, I want my order to arrive on the day it was promissed. That is Bol's service, that is why I pay for SELECT.
I do not recommend shopping from this site. First of all, the goods do not arrive in the area they say on the site, only 3-4 days later. Secondly, the goods do not match the description...
This company is a nightmare. I purchased a kitchen table from them. The seller on the BOL.com page was indicated as Mangoe Meubles, and the following lengthy email exchange was done with 'Mangoe Meubels / partnaire de bol'. The table arrived from another company named 'Starfurn' in mid-May. The table they sent was 110 cm even though I ordered a 100 one (!). Also, the tabled that arrived was damaged – there legs were rusty and there was a hole in the table. They offered me a discount, which I refused. Eventually they picked up the table and after several weeks sent a new one a few days ago. The new table however looks completely different than the one the photos and also than the previous table (which was compliant with the pics but was damaged). I notified them that I don't like the new table and asked them to take it back. They were trying to convince me that the table is fine, as it is made by hand and each table was special and different. In order to avoid yet another return (third one) I asked them to send me photos in advance and even offered to go to their shop (if they had one) in order to select the table, which they refused. They refused to pick up the new table and stopped answering my emails. I was shocked to discover on the BOL.com page, where I did the return of the first table, that the status of the purchase was 'return cancelled' (never did that), the return deadline had expired and It was no longer possible to return it (which of course is illegal, as the new table is a new delivery). Now, as I'm clearly entitled to the return (even without providing any reasons) I have to organise the return myself (and claim the return costs afterwards). Not to mention the time I lost fighting with them (almost 3 months by now). Also, what is not clear to me are the relations between BOL, Mangoe Meubels and Starfurn – all of them showing in this purchase in one place or the other. I have never experiences something like this. Had I read the reviews here I would have never ordered anything from them.
Very good shopping platform. Good customer service.
Depending on the result I will change my review but for now this is what I have. I Made an order that was suspossed to come today and it didn't, post nl said the information might be incorrect and that now I will have to wait until Friday. In the case it doesn't come they said I have to contact bol and them because bol is the seller. My question since I'm pretty sure my parcel won't come is what is bol doing in a situation like this? Is bol doing anything at all in the case of missing parcels? Do I get a refund?
fast and almost always best prices in market.. 24 hours delivery, 100 reliable and easy to return / claim if any issue.
The order has been delayed and there is no way to cancel the order when you click on "order cancellation". In addition, no one is picking up the phone, no support. So, watch out, this is not a reliable suplier in case things go wrong
So as I told before, i order an iphone 15 pro and i got instead a metal plate. I had video with unpacking and also some of my friends saw the unpacking moment. This online shop is a pure SCAM. They refuse to refund or to send another phone, as they said their investigation have enough proof that parcel was delivered. DO NOT BUY EXPENSIVE THINGS FROM THIS WEBSITE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOOSE YOUR MONEY. SUPPORT IS WEIRD AND DOES NOT HELP ANYTHING. PURE SCAM. REPORTED.
Bought a blanket from bol.com, supplier is Aramo. The blanket is so stinky so I had to return it. I returned on 19th June, now it’s 4th/July and still didn’t get refund! This is so frustrating!
I bought quite an expensive Padel Racket and it arrived damaged! I reported this immediately to Bol and returned it back. It’s been almost 10 days now that I’m still waiting for my new Padel Racket to arrive, I called Bol 4 times already and they keep telling me that their partner will send it soon – only God knows how/when soon would be… I find this an unacceptable service and I’d think again before buying something via Bol!
Hello bolcom,I have a gift card and I have tried to pay with it for more than three weeks. I have spoken to more than 20 people and there is not one person who can help me. What I don't understand is how so many people can work in bol and none of them know anything about what they do, they only speak what they have read in the book they are given when they train them but when you ask them a question outside of the book they no longer know what to say. They even get aggressive and are very offensive. I don't think that's the way to treat clients because I know that the problem is not mine but theirs.
Well.....Bol.com is apparently throwing purchased items into HUGE boxes that are not properly packed to protect the items. The last box that I received shampoo leaked all over a music cd. It's either hit or miss with Bol.com. My husband picked up a parcel today and we haven't opened it just yet. He told me that it sounded like something was broke in the box. I ordered a ceramic water pitcher and it's probably broken into pieces because Bol.com doesn't want to properly pack their shipments!!!!!! I am getting VERY tired of dealing with these problems. I think I am going back to dealing with Amazon as they use the PROPER boxes and properly pack the items. This is beyond ridiculous. Use proper boxes and packing materials PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UPDATE 12/10/2022 Well, the handle to the red pitcher that I ordered BROKE OFF because of the crappy packaging!!!!!!! There was NO fragile sticker on the box EITHER!!!!!!!!!!!! I am livid.
I can't believe that your customer service assistants have this amazing attitude which they totally feel free to use exclamation points while talking on live chat and make sentences such ''Oh that really sucks but sorry I can't help with that!!''Lately I started having many issues with bol.com and cannot even reach someone decent to talk about my problem. Your customer service is very offhand and your partners, sellers are the same. They can easily mail like ''if you are not happy with our options you can talk to bol.com''. But where are you actually bol.com? Who are we supposed to talk?
I am simply trying to create an account and oh my god, how can it be so difficult? I have to enter all my info in the beginning, annoying but fine.. But I have to choose my street name from a list and that list doesn't contain my street! So I can't create an account and I can't even contact support because I don't have an account! Besides, even if my street was there on the list, why would I need to browse through the all streets of my city to find mine? Just let me type it! If someone hadn't sent me a bol gift card, I would never ever lose 1 minute more here.
Already 7 years bol.com and never had an issue. Don't understand the bad reviews.
I often order from this company and lately I’m getting the wrong products or broken it’s getting frustrating already I pay money for what I chose not what they chose , and to get my stuff broken that’s next level I don’t want to pay or waste my money in this king of situations
The past 13th of February I bought 200 pieces of nitrile gloves, I neve received my package, despite I contacted costumer service thousand times, they always said the partner is going to respond for this, the partner only said we already delivered you the package, wich I never got and it supposed that they have to have proofs about the delivery, but they never showed me those proofs and I lost my money.
Purchased three items at the same time on 21st December as Christmas gifts for my son and his fiance in the Netherlands. The first item was supposed to be delivered the next day. I received an email stating that the item had been delivered to the courier and have had nothing since. Eleven days later it still hasn't arrived and the order status says that Bol cannot track it and they assume it has been delivered. I have tried to contact them to follow up on this and have had no replies to my enquiries. The second item, a set of books, arrived via DHL as arranged. I received an email from Bol to say these had been transferred to the courier and one from DHL with the tracking information. I purchased the third item, a Bagotte BG800MAX Robot Vacuum Cleaner for the advertised price of €209. This was to be delivered by the 5th January. On 31st December I received an email from Bol stating that my order for this had been cancelled because the partner has indicated that the item is no longer available." When I checked the Bol website, on receiving this email, the same vacuum cleaner is still listed as available for delivery but now for the price of €299. How is it that Bol can legally cancel an order that has been paid for then re-advertise the same product as still available for sale but for an inflated price???
Totally false delivery time claims. I was leaving abroad and thought it will be nice to have this when I'm on my trip; but what bol.com claimed was completely false. I ordered this product in the morning, but the product was handed over to PostNL only in the evening, and as a result, it has now been delayed to tomorrow, when I'll already be on my flight. The "Ordered before XXXX, delivered tomorrow" is only a cheap marketing trick by bol.com.And this is not the only time this has happened with bol.com. So Bol.com definitely has aggressive marketing practices when it comes to delivery claims, and my advice would be to not trust them at all on these claims.
Good service. Return orders are handled great also.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
