bluestarferries.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives bluestarferries.com a low-to-medium trust score on the platform: 48. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 48 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to bluestarferries.com's industry. The algorithm detected potential high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert. tags above. Long story short, we caution you about using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning bluestarferries.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between bluestarferries.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of bluestarferries.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of bluestarferries.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. bluestarferries.com is a suspect website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether bluestarferries.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether bluestarferries.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, bluestarferries.com.

We bought business class - wasn’t that a mistake!! We were shocked when we walked in, is this what they call business class? You are better off buying AIR SEATS, trust me! We spoke to a lady who had bought air seats and she knew to do that because she was also so appalled at how bad business class was on her previous trip. Business offers you a separate room from everyone else, but no assigned seats unlike air seats where you have an allocated seat. The seats in business are not as comfortable as you would expect! Also the service is not up to scratch, they don’t know what they’re doing and it’s not clear how you can order. To be fair though, we were glad to not have bought standard fare, it’s everyone for themselves out there and good luck if you’re last to board
Date of experience: September 01, 2024
First of all, it actually has a very good potential but chaos occurs because the employees never listen to you.We bought business class tickets from the Blue Star company Chios ferry departing from Rhodes to go to Santorini with my family, in order to travel comfortably but apart from the first few hours, we were not comfortable neither on the way in nor on the way back (ESPECIALLY ON THE RETURN). Passengers who bought economy class tickets and knew the lack of control of the employees sat in business class seats and those whose seats were occupied sat in other places, and as a result, since they sat in other people's seats, PEOPLE WHO BUY TICKETS FROM BUSINESS CLASS HAD NO PLACE TO SIT.Not only did they steal the seats, but most of the people from economy class came after a while and slept on the seats in the cafe section. We warned the employees a thousand times to check the tickets frequently but they did nothing but ignore us. Then what is the point of selling business tickets!!!!?????Also, there is no cleaning, we saw with our own eyes that they wipe the tables on all the floors with the same cloth at every stop. The toilets are disgusting because of the people using them. I would never recommend them and I will never use them again.
AVOID bluestarferries in Greece like the plague!!! My first negative experience in this country. Everything else was amazing. I recommend using seajetsgr instead! Same Price, Shorter ride, waaaqy more comfort! 1. It was almost 1h delayed - NO information at all. Almost missing our flight!2. They let the back of the queue board first - rather than those coming three hours early to get a good seat3. Economy seats only outside in the heat - no airco. Despite empty seats in the inside - everyone is sent out that does not have a corresponding ticket 4. It’s having insane heavy diesel particle rich smog coming out the motors while stating sustainable on the side of the boat 4. Completely disorganized5. Stressed and unfriendly personnel 6. Dirty and stinky toilets 7. Barking dogs everywhere and screaming kids Avoid avoid avoid
Too crowded. Too expensive for what you get. Kennels for animals were outside under the sun and looked like tiny prison cells. If it's windy, it's better to choose one of their ships, because they are bigger and more steady than the fast ones.
Coming from Athens was actually very nice, friendly and helpful staff to welcome us on. However the entry to the return trip was diabolical - the rudeness of the older lady scanning the tickets at Myli was the reason. Struggled to understand what I was saying (given her very poor English) but I was just trying to be polite and didn’t want her to scan too early as my daughter wasn’t standing with me Then started carrying on to another staff member about me thinking I couldn’t understand
Absolute joke!! People laying all over the seats so not everyone can sit down and staff doing nothing about it. If you want to experience how self centred humans can be jump onboard.
Best boats, nicest airseats, good restaurant, friendliest staff, best prices. See you next time.
1 hour and 45min more than it is supposed to be to Arrive in Naxos from Athens. I heard something about your company, that you don’t let the boats with full power to save fuel. I understand. But at least let us know that the schedule will be much later.
Most disgusting travel experience anywhere I have ever traveled. How are they still in business?. Most crew are men who refuse to answer even simple polite questions, they point and scream. No assistance to any inquiry. They could not be Greek, as we found everyone but the crews of ANY Blue Star Ferry to be delightful, kind and very respectful, a real pleasure to talk too. I pray a competitor will bankrupt their disgusting company crew with it, worthless group of antisocial animals who hate their job. We thought a ferry trip would be calm and relaxing 😱, fly, don't help this dog of a company stay in business.
Beware, that people are killers. They killed a Greek, while he had a ticket, but he had gone out to buy something and was late getting in. Except that he was pushed until some accident happened, the boat continued on its course, for an hour. It took the prosecutor to call the captain and tell him to turn the ship back. Be careful if something happens to you, they don't care they carry on as normal, that's company policy. Please search on YouTube " blue star ferries accident " Please do not select the company, it is dangerous
This is a company that does island hopping. It connects eastern Aegean with Piraeus. I use them very often because I live in eastern Aegean. Be cautious you have been warned! They will treat you like a cow in a slaughterhouse. You will not be treated like a human in there. The stuff working there are "karavomoutsi" from Piraeus and are "mages". "Nisiotes" are fifthly, rude and smell like fish. Please prefer malvides let these animals rot and default.
Be very careful booking with this company. Even if you have a ticket you run the risk of getting thrown overboard and being left for dead. They are known for literally throwing people off the boat for being late. Even before the shameless murdering of innocent travelers, their queing/seating system is non existent and they always run late.
On the 5th of September 2023 a man with special needs boarded the ship "Blue Horizon"...Minutes later he was seen exiting the ship to go buy something. When he returned he was pushed and hit by the crew because he was late and he was denied entrance. He was punched and pushed under the ship and into the sea where he was left to drawn and die alone and without any help. The crew didn't proceed to help him and the ship went on to continue on its' journey like nothing had happened. They tried to cover it up as an accident but unfortunately for them the incident was recorded on video by many.If you'd like to watch the incident please type "Murder Incident Piraeus" on YouTube!
I’m currently on board Diagoras travelling from Mytilini to Lemnos. What a joke!!! This ship’s final destination is Thessaloniki and it is jam packed to capacity. There are not enough seats to accommodate the passengers and the staff are indifferent to the whole situation. When we boarded the hoards stormed forward pushing everyone and everything in their path in order to get seats. There was no staff control or any sort of systematic boarding or assistance at all. Never again, particularly during high season.
Best servics , airseats was good, delicious food in your restaurant, friendlystaff and careing staff kipit up
Late, understaffed and overcrowded. Would not be surprised if they were above capacity based on the sheer volume of people everywhere. Rude staff, filthy toilets. No plugs anywhere even in business class. Sub zero temperature due to an insane use of aircon. Have to pay for WiFi which was incredibly slow
Clean, well-managed ship, with courteous, helpful staff.
Awful to travel with during high season (August 10th-August 20th). Too many tickets are being sold. As a result of that, the travelers exceed the ship's capacity. People are sleeping on the floors, passageways are crowded, toilets are filthy... This is no way to treat tourists and travelers in general.
We was trying to travel with high speed aero 3 and everybody was so rude agent didn’t want to help us and does her job. Agents was so aggressive especially the Aegina agent There re more companies better choose other companies

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
