black.co.uk

The black.co.uk website is associated with a trendy Scarves sector. We wanted to see what they say about themselves, so we extracted some content from the website. Here's the conclusion:

It was born out of a series of events that changed the course of my life. A diverse business career in television journalism, marketing consultancy and restaurants ended abruptly when, at the turn of the millennium, I became seriously ill. It was five years before I was well enough to consider embarking on a new project; one which would be fulfilling, creative and constructive. But what could that be?An inspirational trip to India acquainted me with the beauty and luxury of hand spun, hand woven pashmina ring shawls and the artisan skills involved in producing them. The ring shawl, named because even a shawl 2 metres x 1 metre can pass through a wedding ring so fine is the cashmere, is the jewel in the cashmere crown. Each one is unique. Each one is special. The discovery of these exquisite ring shawls heightened my awareness of the importance of preserving unique skills passed down through generations; skills which risk being lost in a world of mass produced and cheap merchandise. Championing the ring shawl, as we do, is win-win. It helps sustain the livelihoods of the families who make them and it brings the most beautiful luxury shawls to discerning customers who might not otherwise find them.So the seed of a new enterprise was sown. As it germinated so too did the importance of working with people who care deeply about their craft. The acronym BLACK, representing Black Luxury Accessories Crafted & Keenly Priced has been our watchword when sourcing products and selecting companies with which to work. Most often we gravitate to family businesses with whom trust and partnerships enable fruitful relationships to thrive. Our selection criterion is based on luxury that lasts, not fashion that fades. With cashmere ring shawls as the cornerstone, we have built up superb collections of luxury accessories and gifts for men and women balancing classic, timeless styles with chic contemporary designs, all expertly crafted.Black is very much a family business with shared values for excellence in product quality, and customer service with a personal touch. Toby Logue, my son joined the business in 2010 and runs it jointly with me. Toby’s influence has led to a greatly expanded men’s collection and enhanced website design. However lovely our products, we would be nothing without loyal, appreciative, happy customers. We strive to deliver the best customer experience possible through fast, efficient delivery, beautiful packaging and helpful advice. There is no better reward for us than delighted customers. To you we say thank you and hope we will continue to please.

black.co.uk Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives black.co.uk a medium-high trust score on the platform: 78.9. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Standard. Fair.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this above-average score? We came up with the 78.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to black.co.uk's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Known. Standard. Fair. tags above. Long story short, we deem this website low risk, but you still need to pay attention to details and use common sense when engaging in online transactions of any kind. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning black.co.uk, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between black.co.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of black.co.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of black.co.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. black.co.uk is a low-risk website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether black.co.uk has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether black.co.uk boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, black.co.uk.

I bought trekking shoes at their shop in Inverness. When I was back at home (in Belgium) I opened the box and I saw that they put two different shoes from two different sizes. I called their customer service and they told me that I had to check the box in the shop. In other words that’s my fault. Never again!!!!!!!
Absolutely useless, order from them online paid for the items and then tgey cancelled my order without any reason. Do not buy from this company specially if it's their sale stock as you will never receive it
Very bad customer service beware when ordering if your parcel is left outside and stolen you still have to pay even with all the relevant evidence. Customer service emails just come across as robotic responses. Would much rather pay a bit more via third party sites and receive better customer service if there is a problem stay away from this robbing company
Bought an osprey talon 22 backpack on the website, says one size, but know for a fact that this particular model comes in two sizes (s/m, m/l). Called up the customer service to check which size is the one they sell on the website, but the women was totally unhelpful, keeps saying its only one size, doesnt matter what osprey (the manufacturer!) says??! I know its one size you sell, but i just want to know if its s/m or m/l (omg!). When i suggest the website could be modified to make it easier for the customer she still just repeats the same mantra that the bag is one size (i mean wth), super frustrating communication!! this company needs to hire someone more competent.
Accidentally ordered an incorrect size of something which I immediately phoned/ emailed about to cancel. They were unable to cancel in the system and instead said it would have to be dispatched and returned - the deliver and return cost me £4.99 & £2.99.The worst part was that they didn’t dispatch it for 6 days after I’d requested the cancellation.I’m unsure why a company of this size isn’t able to cancel an order in circumstances like this - such a waste of unnecessary resources and money. On top of this, the customer service personnel were at times rather rude.
I ordered a small light weight item that had not arrived after 11 days. It could have fitted in a small envelope. Only after contacting Blacks Customer Services did they tell me it had been "damaged beyond repair in transit".I asked for a replacement to be sent by express post - a first class stamp on an envelope (at their expense) because the long delay and damage was their responsibility. On day 12 I got a terse refusal. On those few other occasions this situation has arisen, the other on-line suppliers gave me an upgraded postage without being asked. Blacks seem to value customer satisfaction less than the price of a stamp.
Went to Lincoln store (091). Wanted boots and ‘tops’. Succumbed to the fleece shirts. Stuart helped immediately with changing room and sorting the two purchases whilst I went upstairs. Will greeted us and sorted out a pair of Wellingtons, on hand whilst fitting. Back to till, everything bagged, nothing too much bother with a friendly manner as always. Great.
I ordered gloves which arrived damaged, I tried to contact the customer service who never responded. I sent the gloves back with the return label within 30 days, never received a refund. I hate it that I have to take them to small claims court.
I've made several purchases from black.co.uk over the past few years and was consistently satisfied with top quality of their cashmere products and efficiency of their service. They often delivered ahead of indicated time, and the product was always neatly packed and presented. One of the rare companies whose service didn't falter a bit during the covid pandemic.
Visited store in Harrogate to buy hiking boots. Excellent service from Ben to ensure correct fitting of boots and that suitable boots for kind of terrain I’d be walking on.Could not have been more patient, knowledgeable and helpful.Would definitely use this store again for future purchases.
poor materials. they sold me a scarf silk and cashmere which few weeks later is full of pilling like a polyester scarf , misleading , overpriced
Sometimes it’s great service, other times you place an online order with items showing as in stock, receive confirmation texts about your order “working its way through the warehouse” and then a week later receive a cancelled order email saying there is no stock. They appear to allow more online purchases than the items they have in stock, which is frustrating as I can’t fault the actual products. This has happened now on two occasions in the last few months.
I was looking for a new pair of walking boots or shoes in the Lincoln store. The assistant was extremely helpful and informative, even though he was quite busy with other customers. I tried on a few and found some from among a wide range, with an excellent discount. I was also recommended on purchasing the boots to try them for comfort within the house for a few days, and that I could return them by a set date if they turned out to be unsuitable.
Was greeted by Chris who works in Skipton blacks outlet. Told him what I was looking for in walking boots. He was so helpful and obviously knew what he was talking about. After trying a few different boots on with his knowledge I soon was able to pick the right boot for me. Even if there was anything wrong with the boots I had to just go back and they would sort the problem out. Excellent service. Would definitely recommend this shop and staff.
I can’t remember the exact date so I just put a random one. I went into blacks wanting to get my autistic son a jacket for winter (because of his Autism it makes it very hard to buy him outerwear due to the materials) one of the employees I believe his name was ‘Arron’ was very welcoming and understood my situation without judgement. He was so helpful and pleasant and made the whole experience for my son stress free, I very much will be returning. Thank you so much!
I had occasion today to return a Wild Country Zephyros 2 tent to Blacks Sheffield store on the Moor - store number 481. The manager, Stevie, was fantastic - extremely helpful, understanding and obliging, exchanging my faulty tent with a new replacement. All done with a smile. She is a credit to the store and the business. Five stars, all round.
My husband and myself regularly shop at the Derby branch of Blacks, Belinda has been helping us with advice for a number of years. When we started walking as a hobby she gave lots of advice on the gear we would need and the advice has served us well. Staff are always very helpful in this branch.
Order 2 items only one arrived. Called customer service and told items were being delivered separately. Called back a few days later as still not arrived. Told it was out of stock!!!! They had already taken the money from my account. My question is….if I hadn’t of called them would they have kept my money????Won’t use this company again, don’t trust them
I visited Blacks at Lincoln to source a bum bag for an upcoming holiday. The customer assistant was called Laura she told me that were were a couple to choose from in the upstairs department. When I looked at the substantial staircase and explained that I had difficulty with my ankle on stairs, Laura straight away said she would fetch them down to the ground floor for me to see. I was very grateful for this kindness and also very happy with the choice she presented me with and the price of the Lowe Alpine bag which will now hold my money and personal items on my trip to the Isle Of Man. Well done Blacks for having the perfect item and very well done Laura for excellent customer service.
We went into blacks at Ventura park Tamworth. I was helped by a pleasant young man called Mason. Nothing was too much trouble. He even called his manager to help with th purchased of my burghaus jacket. Its lovely to get great customer service. Many thanks Mason and your female manager

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
