birdies.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives birdies.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 68.1. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 68.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to birdies.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning birdies.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between birdies.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of birdies.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of birdies.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. birdies.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether birdies.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether birdies.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, birdies.com.

I returned a pair of shoes the same week I received them. I have an email from Happy Returns stating that my return was approved. I have been waiting 7 weeks for a refund- approx $120. I’ve reached out multiple times and have been told my situation is “escalated” and then I never hear back. How do scam companies get to continue scamming? Reading all of these complaints makes me realize I’ll never see a refund. I guess my next step will be the BBB and attorney general. Wtaf.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Same problem other people are having. Never received shoes, and have been texting, calling, and emailing. No response from anyone.
Purchased a pair of shoes on final sale. When I tried them on the seam at top dug into my toe which became red and irritated. Emailed customer service who advised she would send problem to the quality team for solution. One week and 2 reminders later-they have ignored my emails and have not responded.
I had ordered a pair last year with no issue. Great shoes. So I decided to order another pair on 10 Aug. 3 weeks later I finally get a email saying they flag the address and that I needed to confirm the address with them. Address is confirmed and the promised to sent out last week ( the week end at Sep 6). I sent a follow up email since there is no tracking number yet. Customer service can't find my order. I had to sent proof of purchase to them. Then comes the highlight. They say it's been 8 days (more like close to a month) since I place the order and they will escalate the issue to whatever. Finally request a refund thru PayPal and waiting for them to respond
Terrible customer service as others say unfortunately. It would have been my third pair of Birdies. They sent me the wrong model... and now I have no way to talk to someone to exchange it without handling fees. Everything in the customer service is automated: email, phone, texte and live chat isn't available. So yeah, quite deceiving after a good experience earlier on.
I reported to the BBB. Let's see what happens. Reported because over 2 months of no response to almost daily emails, useless on-hold chat for 8 hours- re: non-delivery of shoes.
Came here to leave a review and wasnt surprised to see so many people beat me to it. THE WORST costumer service. Made the mistake of ordering 4 pairs for my first order. They came and are huge. Not true to size. They are so big i cant even wear them without them falling off. Their customer service line is worthless - says your calling outside their business hours all day on week days. No one returns voice messages - which are your only option. The customer chat is non responsive as well. I did get a response via email where they said they were going to get back to me after figuring out an exchange and now nothing. Theyve stopped responding and ive had these shoes a month now. One look at their reviews and its clear this company sucks and it will fail.
Same problem other people are having. Never received shoes, and have been texting, calling, and emailing for over a month. No response from anyone. Will have to try and get my money back. Do not order from them.
I ordered from Birdies when they first launched and didn't have any problems exchanging a pair of shoes. Fast forward several years and I'm shocked by the lack of service. I ordered a pair of shoes but they were too big so they went back. Birdies customer service (via email) confirmed that they shoes were received June 24th. It is now August 9th and I still have not received a refund. Birdies did respond to my first two emails inquiries on the status of the return, and I was told the matter was being escalated. My subsequent emails were completely ignored by customer service. Today I called and had to navigate a robo-attendant and leave a voicemail. I understand it takes time to process a return, but 7 weeks? I'm starting to worry they won't give me my money back. I cannot recommend Birdies. The shoes aren't worth the risk of losing money.
Customer service scores a “0”. On my recent order of two pair of shoes, one of the pairs was not what I ordered. Someone had put a black pair of shoes in a Golden Oak box. I received a response initially after I sent supporting pictures but have heard nothing since. Very disappointing since the shoes were a gift for my daughter. I have sent numerous texts, emails and tried calling for almost one month now. This is the fifth pair bought in the past year. I don’t care how great the shoe is, they have lost a customer!
What ridiculous customer service; if it can even be called that! I ordered two pair of shoes the first pair is exactly what I ordered. The second pair didn't even come close. The customer service website is horrible to navigate, the customer service telephone number is a robo response. 30 days to navigate the nonsense for a return or exchange.... Reading the other reviews does not offer much promise. I am SO disappointed as I love the brand.
My shoes never even left the warehouse for a month after my order. Since a shipping label was created following my order, Birdies informed me it had shipped and therefore was not their responsibility. I did get a refund as a “special exception” but came away not wanting to do business with them again.
Rave reviews convinced me I needed to buy these shoes. They arrived two to three weeks after I ordered them from Birdies' website. They are very pretty, but possibly the worst designed shoes ever. They are flat, but somehow manage to be wobbly: the heel padding destabilizes the rear of the foot, there is zero arch support, and the front of the shoe does not have sufficient structure to compensate. It's the Corvair of footwear.
Awful service. Placed all prior orders through a large retailer. Received a promo from an affiliate retailer, placed the order. The next day received a promo from Birdies direct, placed another order. Received both order confirmations on 11/27/20. Three weeks later, no updates. I contact Birdies only to be told that they flagged both orders as fraud. They never contacted me! They told me I can go on a wait list for both items. What kind of service is that? I will not buy from them direct and may never again at all! Way to loose brand loyalty.
Purchased the Starling Woven for 2020 season obviously due to pandemic they did not get much use that summer or even much after that due to restrictions. When I wore them this past January in Florida, really noticed the toe area is showing signs of wear and is discolored and shredding. They are really too bad to wear. Contacted company and they could not help but offered me 10% off another pair ( that was a joke). Other styles are fine, but stay away from wovens they will not last. Could of bought a pair like this at Target and they would of lasted as long for a fraction of the price.
rip off! These guys are just collecting your money folks.. the alarm is way too weak to alert much of anything AND returns are on the consumers expense! Beware another great on line marketed product money grab!
My pink birdie slippers got black splotches when they got dew on them from walking a few feet into grass.terrible customer service.
These shoes are very very narrow - not as pictured on the website. Free shipping/Free Returns - NOT TRUE! They deducted $5+ because I returned them. Boo. Not as advertised.
The company ignored my emails for almost a month before I called and talked with the least helpful and mean customer service representative. She was condescending and rude. I can't believe they have someone like that in a customer service role.I asked why they ignored my emails and she said they were a small company with only 3 customer service people. You only have 30 days to return a product so you would assume they would contact you before the 30 day expiration. They also make false claims on their website:We offer a 30-day fit guarantee so you can make sure your shoes are just right… because at Birdies, we're committed to comfort. If you're not completely satisfied with your shoes, we'll accept a return or exchange within 30 days of the purchase date, no questions asked. 100% happiness.Mine did not fit and hurt my feet, they would only give me a gift card worth $50, a small portion of the original price. They said they do not give you a 30 day fit guarantee on sale items which is not specified in the copy from their website above. This was our 4th pair we had bought but I will never buy another pair again. The sizing is also not consistent from shoe to shoe. They told me to keep the shoes, like I should be happy to keep shoes that don't fit and are uncomfortable while they kept almost half my money. I just wanted the same pair of shoes in a different size. I guess Birdies thinks it's okay to avoid recycling bad product and to add shoes to a landfill. What a joke.I still haven't received my $50 credit even though she said it was coming in moments. I bet I never get it.
Ordering was smooth, and the shoes arrived quickly. But I could tell as soon as I saw the box that the shoes were too long. But I tried one on to be certain. It was too long, too wide, and too heavy. I didn’t even walk on it because it was huge! Interesting, because the reviews indicated that some people ordered up. I noticed their reviews are all positive (so unlikely and should have made me suspicious).I sent an email about a return and that I did not want to exchange for a different size. They stated they would process my return and send me a label for a free return. The label was never sent. I sent more emails which were not answered. Then I got a bot response which asked about the quality of their service. Are you kidding me? It’s obvious they are stalling so that I’m late with the return and don’t get the refund or free shipping! So I’m forced to pay for the return and suspect I may never get the refund. These shoes were ordered in September, and they’ve been playing with me for three weeks. Now I’m nearly out of time. Not only is it the worst service, but the business practices in general appear suspect on multiple levels. So I’m returning “in perfect condition” shoes at my own expense and in original packaging and will have to wait for the refund. Let’s see how that goes…Update December 6th: It was like a game of chicken…Birdies finally responded just days before I would no longer be able to get a refund, after I’d already shipped the crazy big (and in my opinion poor quality) shoes back to them at my own expense so that I could get the refund. They did give me a refund but would not reimburse me for the shipping; was one expensive try on. Would never do business with them again. It was an ordeal.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
