Is bikecloset.com Legit?

I purchased cycling shoes from bikecloset. My mailing address is super wonky and the folks at bike closet reached out to confirm the address I provided was correct. I wore the shoes on today's ride. Super happy with the purchase and prices. Quick response from the shipper. No regrets. I'd highly recommend!

Anyone can do a good job when everything goes right. Its when things go wrong that you discover a great supplier. I've made periodic purchases from Bikecloset. Most recently a pair of Pirelli tires and a packing tool. Within a couple of ride one of the Pirelli's delaminated. I send a message with photos to the Bikecloset and got a call back within hours. Here it is a day later and they've shipping me a replacement. Good job Bikecloset!

I attempted to place an order on the website. The checkout page was not working properly; I was unable to alter the quantity of an item in my cart before I hit "pay". My credit card info was entered. however. I decided to stop and not order because of the non-function of the check-out page. So I deleted the page from my lappy. Within a few days , $4000 of weird orders were placed on my credit card. My card refused the payments suspecting fraud (Citi Mastercard). Orders originated in Long Beach where this company allegedly has a shop.Buyer beware. I suspect even positive reviews in various places on this site are fake> Prices too good to be true are not real.

I had been looking for Sidi Wire 2 Air cycling shoes for a while, but websites were either out of stock or didn't have them in my size. I came across BikeCloset and they had them; in my size and significantly cheaper. I became suspicious for obvious reasons. I hesitated for several days, then looked up reviews for the company. I was surprised that others had the same concerns, but also had a good experience. Then BikeCloset had a sale on Sidi shoes at 60% off normal MSRP! I pulled the trigger on the Wire 2 Air's for $200 ... and they arrived a week later. No fake, no damage - the actual OEM brand new Sidi's. Well done BikeCloset! I'll be back shopping with you again!

I have made many purchases from this site, including Garmin 830 and Continental Grand Prix 5000 tubeless ready tires. When I am looking for something, they almost always have the best price, and they ship extremely fast. Highly recommend this site.

I have bought stuff in this shop several times. No complaints about quality, a very good discounts on some items. They need to improve their website however: no sorting at all, you can not hide the items, that are not in stock, sometimes the description is missing. Still, I am giving them 5 stars, hoping they will fix this in the nearest future.

I recenly ordered two bike jerseys from Bike Closet and unfortunately, they did not fit. I requested return labels for both and they responded within a reasonable period of time. I was credited for both jerseys and sent them back as requested. Please note, I was credited the full price for jerseys, however; the return shipping lablels covered the cost of the returns. When searching for a new pair of Sidi cycling shoes, Bike Closet came up in my google search as having the lowest price for the model, color, and size I was looking for. I must admit, at first glance, the web site seemed sketchy, but digging around on some cycling forums, I found the common theme of good reviews. I decided to give Bike Closet a try and can report my extreme satisfaction. The shoes were exactly as described and shipping was amazingly fast. Thank you, Bike Closet! I will certainly be checking back in for my future cycling needs.

Bought some Crank Bros pedals, great discounts and a generally smooth purchase process. Shipping might take a little while, but it's a tough time to try and rush shipping or complain too much when it's hard to get parts these days anyway. For the savings and everything, definitely a good move!

Ordered Bibs on 10-24, got shipping label next day, 5 days later, tracking number shows label created only, txted company due to only way they communicate, 4 days later, got a new tracking number, label created only. Very suspicious. Paid with Paypal so I can file claim if item never gets here.Update: I did receive the correct item and it was as described so they did fulfill their obligation, but it wasn't a smooth transaction but the price was great, I would only buy items from them I know I would never need to return.

Seem super unorganized. Placed an order, status was pending for 6 days before I texted the online support number. Order got put out the next day. However, when I received the order it was missing 50% of the items (even though the packing slip had everything listed). Emailed customer service, after 6 days of no response I again texted the online support number. Have been told I should receive an updated tracking number for the missing item. Price was good but they don't seem to have their business together.

Searching for a set of Tires I found this website Bikecloset.com I'm always like to double check every site before buy anything. I texted the number on the site and in less that 5 minutes I got a replay back, Their customer service answered all question i had, Finally I placed my order I got the tracking number THE SAME DAY and considering I am in the east coast it took 3 days to get it. Amazing Service and very happy with them I highly recommend it.Pedro

I recently purchased a pair of sidi shoes and paid immediately then I received a text saying they had a “mix up” and pictures show were not the correct ones and they asked if I wanted different pair of shoes that did not look anything like the ones I ordered. I demanded an immediate refund and it looks like I may get that . But overall not a satisfying experience. They need to get their S—- together

I decided to order a POC Octal helmet to match my friends. I searched online and came across Bikecloset, selling this helmet for much cheaper. When the helmet arrived, the quality and finish were terrible compared to my friend's. We concluded this helmet was a knock-off. I guess you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a knock-off named brand helmet, you can find it 60% cheaper than what Bikecloset offers.

Price Match and Shipment Bike Closet. Had an excellent experience. I ordered 2 Conti tires and with prompt support from customer service, received an almost immediate refund for the difference ($25/tire) in cost from another bike sales (Performance) website. While that was expected, my shipment was also expedited (at my request) and the tires shipped the same. That was unexpected. All of this was handled by text through their contact number and, when I texted my thanks and appreciation, they responded with "we always try to work as a team". No disagreement here. It was really appreciated. As an aside, I see that 1) many of these negative reviews are a year or more older and 2) when good things happen, few people take the time to write it down and say thanks. Put another way, many use the "review" as an opportunity to b****. So, I thought I'd take a minute to be kind.

After several run arounds with their "text message" approach to customer service I requested a refund. Heard nothing back and had to file a chargeback request through my credit card. Avoid at all costs.
