bigwarehouse.com.au Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives bigwarehouse.com.au a pretty low trust score on the platform: 16.9. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 16.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to bigwarehouse.com.au's industry. The algorithm flagged its seemingly suspicious success, even with a newly registered domain. It also detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning bigwarehouse.com.au, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between bigwarehouse.com.au and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of bigwarehouse.com.au. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of bigwarehouse.com.au, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. bigwarehouse.com.au is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether bigwarehouse.com.au has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether bigwarehouse.com.au boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, bigwarehouse.com.au.

Scam website. They lie about having items in stock and will keep you in a 'expect it in 2 weeks' loop. The website seems to reset my password every time i visit and it can take up to 20 minutes for a reset link to arrive. There is no way to contact this business, you are left with a chatbot.
Ordered a crisper bin for a Westinghouse fridge, was told that it wasn't in stock but would be supplied in 2 -3 weeks. Finally arrived, wrong part. Was told I had ordered from the wrong model although their original invoice showed the correct model was ordered. Was eventually told that if I returned the wrong part, at my expense, and it was in good condition then I would be refunded. Given my experiences I would not believe any assertion these people made. You can't get them to answer the phone and their email communication, or lack thereof, just gets increasingly frustrating. Normally I would just write the experience off but they have proved so unprofessional that I will pursue my legal remedies.
I am a Customer with Bigwarehouse for a couple of years and so far ordering, receiving and pricing was never an issue. However this week I hit the wall as multiple trials to purchase a part failed. It is maybe just a glitch in the system, and Bigwarehouse also responded quickly with emails to callback; BUT from there it went not well anymore.I explained to the first person on Tuesday that the purchase not going through with 2 different cards 3 times. I was advised: not our problem call your bank. The following day I tried it again: same issue. I emailed screenshots and got again an email for callback.Today I tried it again to make a purchase, again same failure. So I called my bank and there was no records for the purchase. On the phone we did another trial: Fail and no onformation reached the bank: a clear indicator that there is a fault on the webshop of Bigwarehouse. So I called again: Explained the problem and the trials only to hear: I dont know what youre doing, all good on our side......In other words: I dont care about your purchase trials....Yes I had done the purchase now using bank transfer. Thats why I write that review topic : usual good until a problem occours. As a trade buying parts for my customers, I thinking to use a different company in future, since customer care and willingness to help is zero at Bigwarehouse
Their business application will not accept your address details. I couldn't process an order. It is not possible to operate a business with an application like that. Then you seek to contact them and inform the application is down, and a phone number is nowhere to be found!!Then you look up ABN details to identify a phone number, then call inside business hours only to get an answering service that says you've called outside business hours. Then you look up sites like this, and you thank your lucky stars you never ordered from this dodgy outfit.
Honestly, at this point it's just a scam.Allow you to order parts, but conveniently not in stock, take your money and never respond again!. NO PHONE NUMBER ANYWHERE!!! Don't worry though because their P.O.S chat bot will just continue to ignore you and if you do want to escalate, hey just send an email.....Absolute joke and fraud.*TLDR - ordered ver a month ago and took my money, no communication, no contact info, blame is on Covid excuse. Still not product.
Ordered fridge parts and arrived in wrong colour (poor attention to detail from these Neanderthals). Sent them numerous emails for weeks and no response until today. They said they responded previously but I caught them out lying as they said 'see below email response previously sent' but failed to provide date/time when sent because, you guessed it, they were lying! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!
No contact phone number, despite the address being in sydney! Unfortunately you don't know this until you place the order. At this point it would have been better if I had welded all the pieces of metal together myself with the warmth of my anger and fabricated the piece that I ordered and still has not arrived! "Covid delays" are a dated excuse!
I ordered 2 A/C remote controls in 2 separate orders. First remote arrived 3 days later. The 2nd one got held up by Australia Post (long weekend) and arrived a week later. Both working perfectly. The communication with the company was very good. They offered all their help, contacting Australia Post re: the missing parcel. I dealt with a very helpful staff. I strongly recommend to use this company.
I very rarely write a review about companies but on this occasion I feel compelled to do so.. I ENQUIRED about a washing machine spare part from these people & have received only email response which amounts to pure "clap trap".. I consider myself lucky though as I have not been as unfortunate as many people writing reviews on here as I have not lost any money.. I also suspect that the TWO reviews rating 4 & 5 star ratings are probably either the owners of the business or friends of same.. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS !!!
Ordered parts for a Hisense fridge/freezer. I've been told by Big Warehouse Spares that Hisense is backlogged with orders, it may take 1-3weeks. Contacted Ryan multiple times and he promised to follow up. It's all a BIG FAT LIE. Its been 2 months! I decided to ring Hisense direct, they answered quickly, the parts were in stock and I should see them within 10 days. DON'T ORDER PARTS THROUGH THESE SCAMMERS
The part for our freezer was easier to find than on Electrolux's own site and similar price at around $60. I let them choose most cost effective delivery which was a mistake. I had no notification of despatch, no tracking details and it took over 2 weeks with - wait for it - Fastway Couriers. And cost almost $30 for a very light plastic tray plus $8 shipping insurance which I didn't realise I had added. I can get a case of wine shipped from the same area for under $10. They asked for feedback days BEFORE I even received the goods. Shame as they are probably great guys to work with.
Bigwarehouse.com.au stopped answering my inquiries by email after they initially requested more information about a rangehood filter I wanted. I sent them additional information as requested and thereafter sent two emails requesting follow up/responses. This was over two weeks ago. No answer. Either they don't want business or, if they cannot help out they cannot be bothered letting me know they cannot assist. Pretty strange way to run a business. I have never left negative reviews (plenty of positive ones), but this joint deserves a zero rating.
This is clearly a scam company and should be investigated, cannot believe they can get away with this scam in Australia. I ordered a Ryobi trimmer starter spring part which cost aud 60.00, order was confirmed after payment, but the part never arrived. I have chased up through their messaging system. No response at all, they don't have a phone number or physical address !. I had read some reviews prior purchasing, which were great reviews, probably all fake reviews. Be warned about this scam
FACTUAL:I realize there's delays in getting spares because of the pandemic, BUT I have been waiting since March, and not only there has been a delay, There has been several!!, First it was 1 month, then it was another 2 months and now it's 5-6 months!! Not only that, they are terrible communicators!Had I known it would take this long let alone how expensive they are, I would have bought a new on different model. NEVER BUY SUNBEAM!
In this time of negative sentiment with the Covid thing (July 20200) I orderd a part on Wednesday, I made a Credit Card error and corrected it on Friday after they let me know. The Part arrived the following Tuesday, it was belt for a 25 year old clothes dryer, The belt was a bit shorter than the original and made of better material.I put it in hot water (80 Celcius) and streched it a bit to fit. It works perfectly and looks to be better than the original. Quite happy with it. It is very difficult to get any spares for obsolete appliances, gratefull for their effort and I was quite shocked by the amount of negative commentry here. This is not a fake review, and it relates only to my experiance.
I wish I had read reviews before purchasing, ordered parts online and paid 5 weeks ago and still waiting for the parts. Sent numerous emails with no response. Going to report to bank and ACCC, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY unless you want to wait for ever and maybe never get your part
Very Bad Experience, took 2 months to send item after 3 follow up e-mails. They sent the wrong item and a pack list which did not match what they sent or my item. I am out of pocket $132.00, they are not contactable by phone so all done by e-mail, I have sent all the details including pictures and they just ask for them again. There is no follow up or advice on what they are doing....I will persist but the poor Customer experience so far does not look good for a satisfactory outcome. Update, got a contact number from complaint forum, got hold of individual who sorted the issue and sent out correct part..eventually.
I ordered a part that their site indicated was 3-5 working days for shipping - a month later, nothing.I then read all the negative reviews and figured I'd just have to write it off.Contacted them via email and got an immediate response, and when it was clear they couldn't get the part, I asked for a refund and the money was back in my account 5 working days later, no argument. The inability to supply the part was disappointing, but no complaints about the response time or the refund once I told them I had an issue.
Buying things from this store is on your own risk in term of money, time, energy. I paid $243 to order a piece of ceramic cook top glass for replacement of my damaged one. All the processes took about one month. I end up receiving one of heating elements. When I requested return and refund. Their answer was 'no refund' because the product was ordered from another supplier, and they wouldn't do any thing more to fix this order.
Needed an ignition switch for a Glem stove. They had the correct part listed for $47.91 including shipping. The switch arrived 2 weeks later, but they had sent the incorrect part. I tried to explain that an ignition switch is a momentary action switch (not an on/off toggle switch), but they kept insisting that they sent the correct switch. They suggested that I could return the switch and include the postage receipt for a refund, which I did. They did refund the original amount, but they did not refund my postage cost. I ordered 2 of the correct switches from the UK for less than half the cost including shipping.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
