biggerbooks.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives biggerbooks.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 70.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 70.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to biggerbooks.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning biggerbooks.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between biggerbooks.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of biggerbooks.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of biggerbooks.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. biggerbooks.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether biggerbooks.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether biggerbooks.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, biggerbooks.com.

“This is a scam. Beware!”
They don't even deserve one star. They canceled my daughter's textbook without any notice or communications. After three weeks I contacted them to find out it was cancelled. In the meantime they doubled the price of the book and offered no remedy nor refund until I contacted them. Be VERY CAUTIOUS! Tip for consumers:Scam. Products used:None. They never sent. Service Value
“Book advertised but not available”
The book was advertised and I was billed for it but it turned out not to be available. I was credited the full amount, but I should never have been allowed to place my order in the first place. To be fair, I had the same issue with other vendors advertising the same book and on their sites the book is still listed. At least Bigger Books seems to have removed it. Reason I chose this business: Found the item I was looking for and at a reasonable price - or thought I did. Reason I chose this product: I wanted to read / own the book. Quality
“This was a waste of time.”
My order was cancelled because they "couldn't find a copy for sale". No $#*!! Why do you think I tried to order one from this site? After they notified me they had cancelled my order, I got an email stating that "my book" was still waiting for me and that they were going to offer me a 10% discount on it. On what? Another cancelled order because they never actually had a copy of this item? What a waste of my time this order was! Reason I chose this business: Because they were the only site which stated they had a copy of this book for sale. Reason I chose this product: I needed it for a project. I work as a Researcher. Quality
“Don't list book if you don't have it”
I had been looking for a book and when they said they had it, my friend and I both bought copies (same transaction). However, turns out they didn't have the book, and didn't have the source for it. While I got a refund, I am upset that they would list it like they had it in their warehouse. Reason I chose this business: Because I thought they had the book I was looking for. Reason I chose this product: Because I wanted to knit the patterns * BiggerBooks attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond Quality
“Terrible experience and service.”
Purchased a book, was never told my order was cancelled. It wasn't until I inquired about my book not being received is when they finally told me my order was cancelled "due to an issue with their supplier". I wasted two weeks when I could've found another option. Will never use this company ever again. Like, ever! Chat tech was helpful. Reason I chose this business: Because I was stupid and should've done more research on this bogus company. Reason I chose this product: School related * BiggerBooks attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond Service Quality
“Late Arrival”
Book did not arrive by expected date. It was two days late, even though I paid for Expedited Shipping. While customer service was polite, I was hoping that there would've been a price modification due to the book being late. Oh well. Reason I chose this product: Needed it for school, so I really didn't have a choice. Service Quality
“Poor Communication”
I never received a notice of cancellation and had to check my account to learn that my order had been canceled. Quality
“No product yet”
I understand that the book I ordered is hard to find, but I don't see why you would charge my card before you find the book and ship it to me. I have not yet received the book I ordered. I submitted a customer service message online on June 30, 2024, but have not yet received a response from BiggerBooks. Reason I chose this business: To try to obtain the book I wanted. BiggerBooks was the first site that seemed to offer to search for the book. * BiggerBooks attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond Service
“Order cancelled”
My order was cancelled with no email telling me why. I reached put to customer service but never received a response. No one got back to me. Reason I chose this business: Only site that had the book I wanted. Reason I chose this product: I looked several places for this book with no luck. * BiggerBooks attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond Service Quality
“Where's my book?”
Still haven't received my book but they took my payment! This wasn't a good experience. I won't use them again. Where's my book?? Reason I chose this product: To read, to learn, to enjoy... * BiggerBooks attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond Service
“Customer service good- but disappointed my order was canceled due to lack of inventory”
Excited for book, for order to be cancelled due to none in stock timely refund and responses, but disappointed i thought i would receive the book and didn't Reason I chose this business: Cause i found the book i wanted only on your site. Reason I chose this product: I bet its a great book- but I dont have it so I dont know. Service Quality

Reason I chose this business: It showed that a title I was searching for online was available. Reason I chose this product: It was a title I was searching for. * BiggerBooks attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond Quality
“Easy to navigate, Easy to find”
Great price and easy to navigate the website. Check out was clear and easy to follow. Reason I chose this business: Price listed on Google search. Quality
“No point”
Product was not actually available and I received no notification that the order wouldn't be completed, just a refund on my account. Reason I chose this business: I thought it would be convenient and it was not Reason I chose this product: Only place available - or so I thought * BiggerBooks attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond Quality
“Not good thus far”
Just having a hard time getting the item I ordered on May 19, even though I was charged for it. The person who emailed me confirmed the title of the boom I ordered, but that was two to three days ago and I haven’t heard back yet. Reason I chose this business: Because it looked like BB had the book I wanted in the format I preferred. Reason I chose this product: I wanted to read this book and it’s difficult to find where I live. * BiggerBooks attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond Service Quality
“Thank you”
Thank you very clean I am very happy with my purchase Reason I chose this business: Easy and inexpensive and good quality Quality
“Horrible experience.”
This people had listed books they don't even have in stock. I paid for books that were never shipped because they don't have them in stock. I finally got a full refund for my purchases. What a ridiculous waste of my time. Never coming back to this place. * BiggerBooks attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond Quality
“Just got my order! Time frame was just okay! Order #2998080”
Just got my order, it came exactly within two weeks! I was expecting it to be faster! Amazon delivers within 3 to 5 days. * BiggerBooks attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond
“I was charged but never received my book!”
I was told this site was legitimate and had textbooks at a reduced rate but I can't believe how wrong that was. I ordered a textbook a month ago and never received it, so I spoke to customer service for them to tell me that it was shipped and it's my responsibility if I never got it! They told me I can't even get a refund for something I never received! This is absolutely unacceptable, and I can't believe that there is no way for me to get a refund when I spent well over $100 on something that was never even delivered! * BiggerBooks attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond Service Quality

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

When I google the name of the book I need for school, it returns biggerbooks.com and in the short synopsis before you click the link, it shows a price of $10.24, as if they're selling a book from their stock, but when you go to the site they are selling a subscription to Pearson in order to get the e-book in rental form. Pearson is a very good resource, but you can get it directly from them instead of a third party who starts off being dishonest about price.
