Bought a monitor direct from them but it had no UK power supply in it (despite buying it in the UK from a UK store). Steer clear of BenQ! They've got the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Don't even think about buying the BenQ GP500 projector—it's riddled with hardware and firmware issues, which were confirmed by their own technical team. When they agreed to replace my faulty unit, they sent me a refurbished lab testing unit labelled "For test only" with a missing Android TV and remote control! For over a week, all my follow-ups have been met with canned responses like "sorry for the inconvenience" and no real solution. Now they're telling me to wait another week for the QS02 ATV, calling it a "special service" out of goodwill. This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing, with zero real customer care.
I have bought an expensive display targeted for designers (Benq PD2725U) and it has a flickering problem. I have tested on 4 different Macbooks, both M1 and Intel - same problem. Bought a SW270C 'photographer' monitor for around £700. It failed (line of dead pixels developed; a known issue discussed on internet fora, despite Benq customer services' denial of this fact) just inside the warranty period. The replacement never switched on. It was poorly packaged and possibly damaged in transit. Again, Benq denied this was the case. The replacement of the replacement has itself just failed (whole screen yellowish green and unusable) within a few months. The replacement process was a nightmare. Customer services are rude and farcically incompetent. Will be replacing this junk with a better specced, cheaper Asus with a two year superior warranty.
There E-Mail Exchange Server was faulty so i couldnt reply to their Support Messages for a while. Had to wait for 3h to get someone on their phone to fix that issue. (i was kicked out every 15min). BENQ monitor purchase just over 20 months ago. I thought it was excellent until it died last week. I phoned the support number [UK]. Was asked to fill in the forms etc and this was acknowledged. Since then zilch! Bought an XL2411Z gaming monitor. The package had product NAME set to "XL2411Z" but had MODEL number "XL2411-B". Calling BenQ support on phone 82332719 for the Danish support gave a Sweedish speaking person. The label on the package showed a lot of specifications, but not the vertical refresh rate of 144Hz, which is one of the main reasons for buying this model. It is not possible to search by serial number on the benq website to find the specifications yourself. All in all not very professional. I can only give it two stars.
Great products, horrendous horrendous customer service!!!Ordered an insanely cool GV31 projector which happened to fail within the first 30 days of receiving (it can happen, no prob.).Ended up just sending it back when support over the phone wouldn't help with technical matters, emails only. Emails are a joke, robotic answers take over 24 hours and no one actually reads what you've written and described in details.After a week of child-bite-sized replies heading my way, sent the product back for refund which went well. No point in arguing with support over endless emails that are filtered through by people that forward them to others without context.Even after stating item had been sent back and in the hands of UPS, got an email aiming at "solving" my problem suggesting once more steps that had already been tried.So fine, refund was a fairly easy process, but what happens with these guys once the 30 day period is over?! Had one intelligent person over the phone that explained that if I were to ask for a replacement: no refund would be possible after that. Might as well send back for refund and buy new one, crazy corporate logic!!Absolutely use Paypal as mean of payment, or go with some awful giants such as Amazon, at least this wouldn't happen.Really wanted to enjoy my projector, but given my experience, I do never want to deal with their service again, ughhh!!Such a waste of great engineering. J'ai commandé un projecteur GV31 incroyablement cool qui est tombé en panne dans les 30 premiers jours suivant sa réception (cela peut arriver, sans problème).

J'ai fini par le renvoyer lorsque l'assistance téléphonique ne m'a pas aidé pour les questions techniques, uniquement par e-mail. Les e-mails sont une blague, les réponses robotiques prennent plus de 24 heures et personne ne lit réellement ce que vous avez écrit et décrit en détail.

Après une semaine de réponses de petite taille, j'ai renvoyé le produit pour remboursement, ce qui s'est bien passé. Inutile de discuter avec l'assistance au sujet d'e-mails interminables filtrés par des personnes qui les transmettent à d'autres sans contexte.

Même après avoir déclaré que l'article avait été renvoyé et entre les mains d'UPS, j'ai reçu un e-mail visant à "résoudre" mon problème suggérant une fois de plus les étapes déjà essayées.

Très bien, le remboursement a été un processus assez simple, mais que se passe-t-il avec ces gars-là une fois la période de 30 jours terminée ?! J'ai eu une personne intelligente au téléphone qui m'a expliqué que si je demandais un remplacement : aucun remboursement ne serait possible après cela. Autant renvoyer pour remboursement et en acheter un nouveau, logique d'entreprise folle !!

Utilisez absolument Paypal comme moyen de paiement, ou optez pour des géants horribles comme Amazon, au moins cela n'arriverait pas.

I just purchased the new W2700 4k home cinema projector. All in all, it's a solid piece of tech. Impressive image quality which I won't get into here as there are dedicated sites for that. I will have to update my AV Amp to 4k which was planned so my impressions are only made via an older HD amp. While I wait for that purchase, I have to say it's lovely. My Sky box does NOT like it but that's ok as I'm about to cut the cord. The issue there seems to be the live HD signal and it makes the image drag a little which isn't good. The projector creates more noise than I expected - I thought it would be quieter, but again, I can live with that for the size and the technology crammed in. When powering off, there is a slightly concerning ticking that lasts for about a minute - not too reassuring. I see the customer service gets poor ratings - I hope I don't have the same experience if the time comes. Happy for now though.UPDATE. The noise is driving me mad now. I’m not sure whether this is due to the fact that this was purchased right at release and there are issues with the initial production, or it’s just the design, but it’s a considerable distraction at this point. SECOND: If you’re not using 4k, you have to go into the menu each time to switch the unit to “Silence” to get it a small bit quieter. THIRD you can’t store presets easily - the menu system is pretty awful. Regrets? Yeah, I rushed into 4k too quickly as did Benq I think. Maybe they will improve as time goes on, but my previous Epson 1080 was superior.UPDATE January 2022Now I really don’t like this projector. It’s really hard to judge noise when a manufacturer says xdB or ydB. Unless this projector is outside of the room you are watching, I’d advise against purchasing. The firmware updates are USELESS - about 2 in 2 years. BenQ don’t give a toss. I’ll probably go back to Epson, sooner than I thought.
Bought a Benq EW3270U from a retailer but I was slightly disappointed with the backlight bleed, so I contacted the (Dutch) Benq customer support to ask what I could do to reduce it. I got a reply within 24 hours with a option to get it replaced and picked up at home, when I asked how long it would take because I work from home they made a exception to exchange at the door so I don’t have to wait for the new one and could continue working.In summary the help desk did a wonderful job, something a lot of other brand would not do so 5 stars from me. And the replacement product worked as it should so I’m very happy.

Very poor customer service. I wanted to buy two EX2780q gaming monitors for my two sons Christmas. There was a promotion to buy one with free delivery and receive a 10% voucher off a second purchase. The voucher was to arrive a few weeks later by email. The time arrived and I received the voucher code by email. I then tried to purchase the second monitor using the voucher but the Benq website failed and when I retried to make the purchase the voucher code had expired. I contacted Benq customer services by online Chat and they just said after several hours of chat that my voucher is no longer valid even thought they acknowledged something has gone wrong with their payment system. They do not want to honour the voucher that I lost due their website. I have just wasted my time and now the monitor does not have free delivery and without the voucher it will now cost me more to buy the monitor!!! Great promotion!!! - get the customer to wait for a voucher that will become worthless and end up costing him more at a later date! I wish I had just bought the two monitors at the full price with free delivery and saved myself a lot of time and trouble. I am now trapped in a situation that I wanted both children to be the same but my conscience refuses to give further money to a company that treats its customers in such a bad way. I wanted a supervisor or complaints department to resolve this but they are not contactable therefore I can only warn new customers to avoid this company as they do not play fair and have substandard customer service representatives. For the Xbox series S they have a good product as their monitor works seamlessly at 120hz 1440p resolution but they have spoiled it with terrible customer service. If any Benq executives actually reads this then you have a major problem in that you have a good product, had a willing customer, but lost the sale due to bad sales practices.
Bought a professional editing monitor a year and a half ago (from a local retailer), excellent quality, and it's *almost* perfectly calibrated out of the box. I wouldn't mind it being a tid bit less saturated and less warm (i.e. closer to true calibration), but I can't complain cosnidering the price and quality, especially not for something that is fixable as easily as calibration is.
Bought a new BenQ DP2700Q Designer Monitor, when I plugged it in it wasn't sharp and I couldn't get it to display at 2560x1440. I made contact with BenQ support, Thomas answered me almost straight away via return email, I explained all the checks I'd done and he agreed there was an issue with the monitor. He advised me do not worry we will sort this out for you, he then arranged for their support company to collect the faulty monitor via courier straight away.There was a short delay regarding the replacement, so I emailed Thomas, he got straight onto the support company and reassured me, because the purchased monitor was less than 30 days old I would receive a brand new replacement, not a refurbished one.Next morning I had an email in my inbox from the support company asking when they could deliver the replacement. Two days later it arrived via courier, as promised it was brand new and this one works fine.I cannot fault the service I received from Thomas and BenQ support.
My RMA for my BenQ monitor was opened on the 5th of December. The monitor was supposed to have been collected on the 8th, but wasn't picked up until the 9th. It was delivered to the service center on the 12th. Their website has told me nothing but "Awaiting Buffer Stock. We are waiting for the replacement unit to arrive at our service provider" since it was delivered so I decided to call BenQ on the 20th. The person I talked to told me the replacement was ordered on the 15th, took all the details he needed such as the RMA and case number and told me he would chase things up and let me know through email what was going on. I'm still waiting on said email and I'm still without a monitor. I'm now waiting to get my 3 month old monitor back so I can send it back to the website it was ordered from and I'll never look at BenQ again.Edit Jan 4: Don't take the "how can we help" charade from BenQ as anything useful. I've sent the RMA and case numbers across and still no response. I've just been on the phone with BenQ again and again got the same response. "We'll email our service center and get back to you." Well to cut out the middle man I called their 3rd party service center myself and they've just told me they don't know what's going on, can't help me and are going to email BenQ. At this point it's the blind leading the blind. I'm now going to get in touch with the credit card company and get my money back. It's just unfortunate I can't leave a zero star review... As the title states, avoid this company at all costs, they're incompetent.Edit Jan 4: As I added the previous edit BenQ replied to tell me that their monitor is out of stock. It's taken days for them to figure this much out. I'm done wasting my time with this company.Edit Jan 2024: It's 12 months on and about 4 months after this charade the new monitor produced another 3 dead pixels. I wasn't going through this RMA debacle with BenQ again so after suffering those at eye level for a few more months I decided to sell the monitor at a hit to my wallet and purchased another brand.I could never recommend their products after what I've experienced with them and the Mobiuz EX3410R.
