beautynook.ca Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives beautynook.ca a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 68.1. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 68.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to beautynook.ca's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning beautynook.ca, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between beautynook.ca and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of beautynook.ca. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of beautynook.ca, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. beautynook.ca is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether beautynook.ca has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether beautynook.ca boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, beautynook.ca.

This company is a SCAM. DO NOT ORDER from them. "Michelle" will take your money and never fulfill your order. Dispute with your credit card company and file a complaint.
This is scam. I have ordered products from them 2 months ago and until it hasn't arrived yet. I have tried calling them but no answer and tried sending them email but then they said they would send me update. I sent them email again and never heard anything from them.
Never received order details or confirmation. Can’t reach anyone. Phone line disconnected. She won’t respond to emails or instagram messages. Now I have to do a charge back. Ridiculous.
This site is a complete scam. Do not purchase skincare online from them. They do not deliver nor do they respond to texts. What business does not have a phone number? They claim to be a spa….
If I could give a zero star review I would. Please do not purchase from online store I believe some sort of scam is occurring. For example I ordered two products over 12 weeks ago and still have not received product. I resorted to contacting my credit card company and reporting as fraud ( I was reimbursed) as the company didn’t even respond to my emails inquiring about status of order. If something seems too good to be true ( ie the sale prices) it probably is. I’m writing this because I noticed her google reviews are down and there were dozens and dozens of 1 star reviews detailing similar experiences. Please be warned!
I ordered products from Beauty Nook online in February 2024 and still have not recieved anything as of June 2024. I requested a refund in April and was given the run around via email. A refund has not been issued to date and I am out of pocket $157 and change. I recommend potential customers take a look at Beauty Nook's Google reviews before supporting this company that is obviously scamming and stealing from their customers.
I got a free skincare consult by Michelle who is literally the most knowledgeable person about skincare. She’s changed my skin in such a great way! I always get my orders in good time and the customer service is next level. Support this amazing Canadian business. The best!
DO NOT order product from this company! I think there are a scam. I ordered over $400 worth of skincare at the beginning of February, and still nothing. After multiple emails and many excuses, I finally had to launch an investigation with afterpay ( which is how I paid) if that doesn’t work, I will be forced to take legal action.
I have no idea what this other reviewer is taking about but I used to buy from beauty nook in the shop when I lived in Surrey and still order all my products now that I live in Calgary. They have the best products that you can’t find anywhere else and the advice and knowledge is second to none. My skin looks a thousand times better since finding beauty nook!
Do not order from here. This company is a scam. I purchased over $330 worth of products and received automated emails saying my package was in queue. It's been a month later, and their website still says my order was never fulfilled. My emails are met with automated responses that are false, saying my order was expedited (it wasn't). I've filed a claim with my bank.
Can not say enough about how amazing the service and products are here! I’ve been Using a regimen of acne products suggested for me by the master aesthetician and my skin looks 100% better. It’s crazy how much better after only two weeks! If you have acne you really have to get a custom regimen made for you by the team here.
This vendor should rebrand to BeautyCrook. As with other real reviews here, this store has taken close to 2 months to send my purchase. When emailing this delinquent of an owner, she responds with very vague messages and pleasantries to only provide more promised timelines that are not met. I ask for a refund and they say I will received in 2-3 business days and then 6 days go by with no refund. Stay away from this horrible shop. If they are not outright crooks then they have no place doing business with their poor business practices. I reported them to the better business bureau and my credit card company.
Do not order from this company. I can see here that my experience with this company is a common one. It has been 3 weeks and they still haven’t even provided me with a shipping notification for an order totaling over $800. I requested a cancellation and now they want to charge me a 5% restocking fee.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS OR ORDER FROM THEMBought a product in January 2024 - now almost APRIL and no product and at least 10 emails, 5 to be reimbursed......My last email to BEAUTY NOOK:I have to start legal procedures and populate bad reviews on their site and many other sites like this one.I do not understand this situation at all. It has been since January.REALLY BAD
I paid $150 for two bottles of sunscreen on September 14th 2023 and still have heard nothing about my order being shipped. It’s been a month. I wonder how long it’ll take to hear something? I will never purchase again from this company. Too bad, I had such high hopes. If I continue to not hear anything I will ask for a refund. Very upset so far with my experience with this company. Would not recommend ordering from them.
I placed an order via their online store almost a month ago now and it has not been shipped yet. Emails about the order by the owner is really vague, like there is no concrete information about your online orders.
I ordered $300+ worth of products and never got them. They kept telling me their shipment was on its way and then they lied and toldme it had arrived and they were going to ship it the next few days. When I inquired about it they said they had not received the shipment but it was on its way. After a few months of back and forth I did eventually get my refund. Thankfully, I paid through Afterpay and I was able to make a claim. I will not ever purchase from this company again. Thankfully I received my refund but it sounds like others have not.
We are led to believe that Beauty Nook online store ,with store premises in British Columbia (Surrey, BC V3S 1R8) , is a fraudulent or knowingly misleading online customers and taking their payments without shipping product. If not a scam then the business is stealing from out of province online customers. It is now one and a half months since order was placed and we are following due process of reporting them to relevant parties including the website host -Shopify. Hopefully their payment system can be taken down and Canada post account closed because of fraudulent activity.Vendor creates void Canada post shipping orders, but never actually ships products. If tracking numbers are checked online with Canada post, it shows that product was never received by courier.Owner responds to emails and texts vaguely and promises of a refund or proof of refund is not honoured. Will amend/update review as needed.
I ordered a product from here one month ago and have since not heard any update about my order or anything at all. I have emailed numerous times and have only received one very vague email from “Michelle” - apparently the owner, saying my “order is in queue and I will be notified when it’s shipped” after having specifically asked when I can expect it to be shipped. Since then, I have also emailed and asked for my order to be cancelled and refunded, since I needed the cleanser for a trip coming up and I expected to receive the product well within a month and have still not heard anything back. There are numerous other reviews on here saying the same thing, and I honestly should have checked the reviews before purchasing, since I’m pretty sure I might never see the cleanser I ordered or my money back. Do not purchase from this seller.
I just started ordering from here but they’re super helpful and have the best products for acne. Highly recommended!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
