be2.co.uk Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives be2.co.uk a medium-high trust score on the platform: 70.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 70.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to be2.co.uk's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning be2.co.uk, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between be2.co.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of be2.co.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of be2.co.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. be2.co.uk is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether be2.co.uk has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether be2.co.uk boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, be2.co.uk.

“That's why it is a scam”

That's why it is a scam You subscribe for some months and after very poor or no results at all you cancel your subscription in order not to pay for a zero service. The problem is that your profile together with other thousands of profiles, that also cancelled their subscriptions for the same reason, remain in force, but these very profiles are just like ghosts because they cannot receive o send messages and that explains why, in your turn, you cannot receive an reply to your messages; Be2 says that They might have already connected with someone else, they might not have been active on the site, or, unfortunately, they might not be interested in chatting right now. Mind you "they might not have been active on the site" then why if they are not active on the site they are still there? Just to say that Be2 boasts thousands and thousands of members? I would say thousands and thousands of ghosts... I've been the victim of scam.

“A SCAM!... STAY AWAY!...”

Most profiles are fraudulent. Never got an answer to my 10 plus emails asking to cancel. Also deleted profile and they re-activated it. This is the most disgusting online dating site I've every encountered... Will be leaving bad reviews wherever I can... Will have to cancel credit card. Don't waste your money and valuable time... Stay away from these fraudsters...

“Only got 1 star because I can; t post a comment with...”

Only got 1 star because I can; t post a comment with no stars! Absolute crooks, ridiculous hidden terms and conditions. To cancel you have to contact them 14 days in advance or they automatically renew for 6 months at a cost of £150. They require you to print out, fill in and FAX them a form, or scan and email it - and you then have to chase them. I've had threatening emails demanding more money even though they acknowledged my cancellation. DO NOT under any circumstances join, visit or go anywhere near this website.

“Please read the reviews, Be2 are excellent scam artists,...”

Please read the reviews, Be2 are excellent scam artists, if you try to cancel your membership they make it impossible and you can never speak to their customer service team directly, just get the same email over and over again. I am not writing this because I am an unsatisfied customer who hasn't met someone special, there are lots of other sites who have a better quality type of member and their cancellation policy is fair. Beware of Be2, try another site instead.

“I signed up for the £5.00 special offer and cancelled...”

I signed up for the £5.00 special offer and cancelled my account in plenty of time only to be told they didn't receive my faxes to cancel so I sent more and tried to email but nothing happened. Then they took £149.00 out of my account and would no longer answer any of my emails or phone calls. Between the scammers and the profiles with no photographs I think the whole thing is a massive rip off. Don't join this site you will get nothing out of it except an empty bank account.

“Never uses your criteria to match people”

Constantly "matches" me with people hundreds of miles away and in a completely different age ranges to me despite me regularly checking that I have set geographical and age parameters. Customer services awful bordering on non-existent. A definite waste of money. There may be some lovely people on there - but if you have to trawl through 90 that are outside your location etc... to find the 1 who isn't, you just give up.

“Clear scam, all 16 people who messaged me ALL had impeccable...”

Clear scam, all 16 people who messaged me ALL had impeccable English and all were flattering. I'm glad I never subscribed. But if you're all looking for a FREE site use freedating.co.uk At least they don't ask for subscriptions. Although the matchmaking lacks to the point for there being none, you only find people on the basis of where they live compared to you, what do you expect, it's free!

“I like many others joined on the £5 trial, cancelled...”

I like many others joined on the £5 trial, cancelled before the due date but was still charged. I emailed them telling them I had cancelled but all they said was I had a legal contract with them and I would have to pay! Now I keep getting threatening emails about sending the bailiffs round and taking me to court! I don't believe they are even based in the UK so how can they? Just a bunch of rip off merchants out to get our money, don't give a monkeys about anything else. They should be ashamed of themselves.

“SCAM DO NOT SIGN UP!”

I want to actually give -0 stars. All very appealing on the outside but wait until you try to delete your profile. This review is not because I am upset about not meeting anyone, there are plenty of wonderful dating sites out there. I realised not long after I joined how incredibly difficult this site was to navigate and in terms of matches there were literally zero. When I tried to delete my account it was almost impossible to find where that was on their website and when I did it was ludicrous. There was also no contact number that worked. After sending endless emails and a letter to remove my profile I still kept getting charged. I eventually had to cancel my credit card and resort to the bank to get (some of) my money back. This website is a cover for thieves. Do yourself a favour and stay away!

“I think one star is too much”

I think one star is too much. It is a black hole. Scammers. Took my money and I actually never managed to see one photo or received a single compatible match. I honestly do not understand how a site like this is still out there. And very poor customer service. Stay away

“A complete con”

A complete con. Like others I am now receiving threats of legal action. I had to phone my credit card company who were brilliant, I explained and they cancelled my card so be2 can't now take any money, I'm just so glad I didn't do this on a direct debit. What a nasty way to treat people who signed up to this site in good faith.

“The only thing that I can say about be2 is that it...”

The only thing that I can say about be2 is that it is full of scammers. Having alerted them to one I was then confronted by another and another and so it went on! It was a good job I had a sense of humour as I was able to spot them and in the end signed in under false name to see if they would try and make contact again... bingo. Lol. The sad thing that there may be a few honest people there, of which I was one, but there were so many scammers that it was a pointless exercise. Watch out because they steal unprotected identities from facebook. Just remember a couple of things never give any of them money just don't get sucked into their stories however believable. It is very sad that be2 don't care but then why should they, they have your money and will keep sending you profiles. GET OUT FAST.

“I tried this site some time ago but haven't got any...”

I tried this site some time ago but haven't got any problems with it. I don't know why there are only negative reviews. It seems to me that there are only people with bad experience writing biased reviews against this site. I tried one month as trial and after it I wanted to cancel my account. Then they send me special offer for 2 months plus one for free. I decided to stay and search profiles if there is somebody who would fit to me. Although I haven’t found anyone to fall in love with, I didn’t get into cancellation problem my subscription either. In their Terms and Conditions is written how to do it. So I followed it and got my subscription cancelled and account closed. Are there any scammers? Possibly, dating attracts scammers and some people wrote me weird messages, so I reported them. But which site doesn't have them? I don't think it is possible to avoid them completely. The only way you can skip scammers is not to respond and don't send money to anyone.

“I have e mailed this site to give notice to end membership...”

I have e mailed this site to give notice to end membership now two months later I m still receiving e mail saying I have a contract with them and they are going to use debt collection since the cannot take money from my account. I m going to contact trading standards but not sure what else can be done. They are sending me threatening emails I want to stop them doing it to me or anyone else. Anyone with any ideas on how to stop them

“As my last girlfriend was very different than me, our...”

As my last girlfriend was very different than me, our relationship lasted only for very short time. When I heard about personality test at be2.co.uk I thought it could be something right for me. I started to look for the most suitable partner for me. They recommended me some profiles based on the test results and after becoming premium member I started to communicate with them. One of them looked very promising, so I decided to meet her. Unfortunately I was disappointed in the end because in the end she was completely different as it was written in her profile – but that of course has nothing to do with the product.

“Fraudsters who get away with scamming people”

Be2 buyer beware! I'm back to FlingEasy.com I used this service a few years ago. They have matured a lot since their release and I would say now it's the safest and the quickest way to meet women who are really down to anything. Be2 website is full of scammers who are good at leaving men with heavy hearts and empty wallets. On top of that, it's run by fraudsters who manage to get away with scamming people. Multiple charges, unauthorized charges, auto-renewals – these are just a few of Be2 scam tricks. Don't hand over your bank details to Be2 - they have completely lost perspective of what a dating site should be like.

“SITE FOR OF LIARS, SCAMMERS”

I've personally found out that this site is a fake, and should be closed down. I will forward my experiences to the FBI to avoid those scammers from asking women for money. How come every member on your site have a Masters, Bachelors, wife died, only one child living. This site is a disgrace To the human race, and should be closed down. EB.

“Short Be2 Review”

Its a 6/10 dating site for me. Not the worse out there but I prefer sites like wejustfit.com that are a tad more 'underground' and have people who know the internet better and IMHO are just more interesting

“Above average”

Quite like be2.co.uk. Good search system and busy site. Did have a small issue and had to call customer service, was disapointed that it wasnt UK based like the other site I use (WeJustFit.com) but thats a small complaint really. Its better than most sites and not having any problems with scammers so far. Descent enough value for money. Service Value Quality

“Avoid - avoid (: Do not give them your credit details”

Agree with others on here - a sophisticated scam. I wish I had researched these comments before parting with money. Lots of false profiles etc... but worse than that. They'll tempt you in with reasonable price for the first month - then, wham! Your bank account is deducted for 100Euro or more. To cancel they insist on a Fax to Swiss Address - who has a fax machine these days? Grrr - feel so foolish for letting this happen.

“Bots and fakes! Filthy site!”

The main site I'm using for dating is http://j4Iove.com -and it's pretty good. I regret the day I decided to give another site a shot. If you are well off you don't seek better. Otherwise, you often loose your money - this is what happened to me on Be2. They make it impossible to cancel and they keep charging you! Beware! Customer support ignores my requests to cancel membership! I want to cancel it because there are very few, if any, real women there. Just bots and fakes... so there is no point in my search there anymore. It doesn't help to report fakes because they never get banned. I see these profiles still online, "working" with their next victim. Ignore this site guys, don't make the same mistake as I did.

“I am totally disappointed with this site, I have just...”

I am totally disappointed with this site, I have just lost my £149. I complained before the deadline but they waited and replied after the deadline saying that they cannot refund. Has anyone managed to get a refund so far?

“Appalling service”

Appalling service - the matches are haphazard and the site is difficult to navigate, in particular the search function makes it extremely difficult to find matches in just one area. The Customer Service is horrid - having sent them a fax in July 2007 to cancel the account they have refused to do so or speak to me and are now threatening legal action, despite me re-sending the information to them repeatedly. There is no easy way to cancel through the site, which breaches UK rules regarding sign-ups and contract dismissals for online services and they really couldn't give a stuff about their customers. If I could give them no stars, I would.

“Be2 is fake dating site, (a lot of) money for nothing!”

On the site you can find a lot of fake profiles. After the one test month, the price is very expensive, and to deleting it is almost impossible. They try to take the money from your bank account, and if you don't pay, they are threatening you whit an retortion. My bill is more than 100 euro, what they want, only for one month using.

“Stay away!”

Don't join this site, but if you joined already - don't upgrade your profile, otherwise you'll end up struggling to cancel recurring payments. Once you create your account with them, you'll get dozens of emails every day and most of them aren't genuine at all.

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
