bayalarm.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives bayalarm.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 89.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 89.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to bayalarm.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning bayalarm.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between bayalarm.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of bayalarm.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of bayalarm.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. bayalarm.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether bayalarm.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether bayalarm.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, bayalarm.com.

They did not check to see if we had a 'Police Alarm Permit' before installing our alarm, then we had a False Alarm & got a bill from the LAPD for $267. There is a LA Municipal code section 103.206, requires alarm companies to check for a permit & obtain if there is none. I sent the bill to the alarm email(the only way to contact them, conveniently) & they will not respond. I've called 3 times to customer service & they said "we'll reach out & you'll hear back today".....Then.... NOTHING.! Yet I'm getting my alarm bill promptly on time! I'd pick another alarm company FOR SURE!!!
I installed a brand new Bay Alarm system that required not one, not two, but SEVEN tech visits in the first year. Even the technicians thought this was outrageous, and one of them urged me to escalate my complaint and ask for a one year extension on the warranty. No dice. Apparently the company won't stand by their product no matter how deficient it is -- or how expensive. Bay Alarm is pricey, but I figured I would get what I paid for. No such luck. Buyer beware.
I asked for help ,they said no unless I bought a expensive plan, Bay alarm sucks, look for a better company
We made the switch away from ADT, it's always concerning when you go through a change that is part of every day operations. Our account manager Colleen has been awesome. Going over all the details thoroughly, explaining the process and following up in a timely manner is really the deal. That level of service is something we wish we could get from more of our purveyors! Our install tech was great as well. Very efficient installation and everything was buttoned up at the end. Much appreciated!!
Really pleased with my recent installation of our building alarm system provided by bay alarm. Alex the sales rep did a great job with communication and execution of the job. His technician Mike was also a pleasure to work with. The building was a 25.5k commercial building with several sensors. Although the first week we did have some false alarms and faulty sensors, however Mike's handling of the situation and prompt response every time was greatly appreciated.
Bay installed a whole house alarm system during the construction phase. Their technicians were knowledgeable and polite. Their pricing was comparable to another leading alarm system/service. I chose Bay because of the good review a close friend of mine gave them. She’s been using them for a few years. At the end of the install, Mike went over the app to show me how to set up my account and use menu features. Really simple and intuitive. Definitely not disappointed.
Marc in the commercial sales department really went above and beyond when I was trying to get glass break sensors installed in my house. He no longer works residential but went out of his way to hook me up with a competent residential sales associate named Tessa. He then credited my account for two months worth of service because I had to wait about a month to schedule an appointment. Thank you Marc!
The technician Jose who installed our new Ai Phone system did an excellent job. He was patient and his attention to detail was much appreciated. I would caution that not all of Bay Alarms techs are of the same caliber. I had to send one home because his attitude did not fit our friendly work environment. Other than that, I am really pleased with the results
The 2 technicians were in our home for 3 full days updating our 30+ year-old security alarm system. They spent every moment working, only stopping to address our questions. After the installation was finished, they even returned to to show us how to operate the system when we had forgotten how to utilize every aspect. We would highly recommend Bay Alarm!
This has been one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a service provider. It has been problem after problem from the start. It’s frankly startling how many errors, mistakes, and issues have arisen. We are 2 very busy attorneys who have now wasted countless hours dealing with what should have been such a simple process. Please contact me to discuss how Bay Alarm can fix all of the problems caused by its salespeople and installers.
Installer George Castanon did an excellent job installing and coming back and working on system until our problem was fixed. Marc Alesio that signed me up knew how desperate I was to get system installed and got it put in before my scheduled date. Both men provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond what is normally provided by a company. You are lucky to have them working for you.
We just hired Bay Alarm to add alarms to our business and it was such an easy, inexpensive process. Our sales rep, was prompt and efficient, the installer was fantastic. On time, friendly, wore a mask and socially distanced, explained everything in detail, communicated with us every day of the project and went above and beyond to ensure our new system works for us. I highly recommend using Bay Alarm for your alarming needs and look forward to a long relationship with the team.
Good overall . There were some snags that made it frustrating but overall it was ok. I think it would have been more pleasant and thorough if the salesperson and I would have met to make the whole job easier. This was handled by a 3rd party at the beginning and ended with me the owner. Also appears that some personal issues on salesperson part affected getting a hold of him to accomplish last detail. The financial office in SSF was very helpful. He cleared up the entire mess of final payment.
I interviewed two local alarm companies and chose Bay Alarm because of Ector. He is a wonderful representative of the company. He explained everything to me and answered all my numerous questions. The two men who came to install my system were efficient, knowledgeable and respectful of our home. The install was clean and the system has worked perfectly from the start. Ours was a conversion from another national alarm company, however we were able to keep all our sensors and only needed new panels and sending devices. Extremely pleased with the new alarm system.
Initial set up was not as discussed in the original estimate. We discussed the need to have the alarm system monitored through a land line due to the fact of no WiFi in our rural area. This was forgotten or ignored, but was eventually remedied. Installation technicians did not show up when scheduled.
Rick from Bay Alarm was nothing but professional, friendly and also very knowledgeable. We had some issues with the scheduling portion of the system, plus some hardware failure that required him to come back multiple times. He stayed on it and came back several times until everything was working right and we were satisfied. I appreciate his perseverance and always positive attitude. Thank you so much Rick for a job well done!
There was a glitch in the installation and Tim had to come back to fix how Perimeter appeared on the screen. The motion detector kept going off. That was fine, but then Nathan had to come because I had been unable turn off my Perimeter setting on my upstairs screen/box. I solved it by going to the downstairs screen/box where I was able to turn it off. This was New Years morning and the woman in the office was trying to figure out what to do from a handbook.Everyone who came here was polite and efficient. I will let you know if anything else goes wrong!
Just wanted to share that our customer experience was excellent. From courteous installers to competent trainers. We liked the fact that you are investing in new employees and that they are being trained by excellent installers. Well that's enough praise, you all might get a swelled head. I just wanted to polish your halos a little. With best regards,Keith
We had a new Bay Alarm security system installed today at our place of business in Martinez. We replaced our old Sonitrol system that was outdated. Both Abdul and Vahid were absolutely great! They arrived on time, were very personable, knowledgeable and professional. Both were able to answer all our questions as they walked us through the easy-to-use app. They made sure we were comfortable with operating our new system before they left. Thanks, Abdul and Vahid, you made our security transition incredibly easy and we appreciate all your support!
Had a switch fall off a bedroom door a a week after the battery was replaced and I think the same switch was reglued. I am unsure because I am out of the country .Alarm went off, I bypassed that switch. Was to upgrade both panels , after a day of trying, only one panel was upgraded. There is an issue with my wiring. The old panel was reinstalled and worked fine. The team were courteous and worked very hard. The camera install went well, having difficulty seeing them remotely from my international location. L

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
