While some are self-explanatory concerning baskettop.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between baskettop.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of baskettop.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of baskettop.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. baskettop.com is a questionable website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

It took baskettop.com a little under a month to actually send my order. When looking at the order through their website, they indicated that the label for the package was created but not sent. I also noticed a "subscription" that was added to my order (this was free). The list of orders also mentioned that there would be a charge of the "subscription" for $18+. When this was the status for a week, I messaged them through email about an ETA for my order also mentioning the subscription so I can get more details about it. After a few days of not receiving anything, I called the number just below the listed email (an international one) and they told me that they don't do anything about the orders and to email them, which I already did, and they told me to keep checking my spam folder. I decided to email them again to convey my questioning of the ETA and "subscription". They finally messaged back and gave me a tracking number, which was already provided and did not give an ETA. They also mentioned that the "subscription" is free for the first month and was encouraged to "take advantage" of this. I had no way if taking advantage of this "subscription", which only further confused me. I canceled the subscription just days before the deadline and it said that it was "pending". This was the status for at least 3 days and probably not more than 6 days. I woke up one morning to receive a notification that I was charged for the "subscription" despite canceling it. I emailed them letting them know that I had canceled that days ago and that they will need to give me a refund on the subscription and, if I don't receive my order in a reasonable amount of time then they would owe me a refund on that also. They told me that they never received a cancelation and that it is nonrefundable. I then took a look to see the status of my order. It has been shipped and the "subscription" had been canceled. I then relayed the message that I canceled the "subscription" before they charged me and that I will be reporting this if they do not issue a refund. They are now under investigation with my bank. The latest message they sent me mentioned that they canceled the "subscription" and did not mention a refund. That's stealing.
You've just explained what i went through with. This should be illegal. I reported my experience to the FTC and called my bank.
Baskettop is a scam. Shortly after buying an item from them I started receiving text messages from unknown mobile numbers to say I have a parcel that cannot be delivered due to label damage. The text messages ask for money to cover the costs of label damage. They ask for my home address, and my bank account details. Baskettop have passed my phone number, my home address and my full name on to scammers. This morning I received a notification from my bank to say they have taken a further £18.47 from my account as a recurring payment for a "subscription". I never subscribed to anything from baskettop. An employee from baskettop has informed me that because I did not cancel this subscription in time, this £18.47 is non-refundable. I was not even made aware that they had automatically subscribed me to keep taking money off me each month and had no way of stopping them from doing this. I have now raised a dispute with my bank and wish to spread awareness of this as it appears they have done this on several occasions to multiple people.
Hello! I just realise that your company takes $32,42 each month from my credit card for some reason that I never ask for!! I never accept any intrusion in my personel credit card ! So you'll be advise by this note that I am contesting theses 2 stolen action from your own Internet site. Normand Brisebois: BASKETTOP.COM +441631700344 & BASKETTOP.COM + 441631700344CY
I had the same problem with them. The product was falsely advertised and was a quarter the size I expected. I asked for a refund before they even sent it as I did not realise it was in USD until I had pressed paid. I got caught up in the membership too and they took $86+ out of my account. NO refund they said for either the product or membership. I had to cancel my visa card and am dealing with the bank. Thes are rip off artists so do not buy from them.
I have also been scammed this week by the same nefarious behaviour, the product was completely substandard, I did not receive any receipt or notification of a paid subscription, I was charged in USD after not being informed it was USD, and was refused a membership refund after complaining. This disguising of a membership fee to continue to charge clients is a deliberate ruse to scam customers as some would not even realise they are loosing money each month with so many subscriptions to keep track of. I would be open to officially reporting this with a fraud squad, police or whoever monitors this kind of company, or is this why they are located in Cyprus, are their laws more lax than other countries? I don't now what to do nest to have this company charged.
I also fell victim to this fraudulent company on line. I bought their stupid neck cloud in March of 2023, I received their product in a reasonable amount of time and was happy with product. Little did I know they had some how also signed me up for a monthly subscription for who knows what service for $23.47USD that I didn't notice on my credit card statement until Sept. 2023, which being in Canada they were taking $32.19/month for 6 months a total so far of $193.14 Canadain. In Sept. 2023 I canceled my subscription on their website, and now in Nov. they are still trying to take money from my credit card but because I reported it in Sept. to my Credit card company they are blocking it and notifying me when they try to take the money out and asking me is this a fraud purchase or legit and I am telling them it is FRAUD!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! They are sneaky deceitful crooks!!
