Is barnettcrossbows.com Legit?

🤬🤬🤬Wish I could be out shooting my bow but after a year of being without it , 9 months at Barnett's numerous emails and phone calls and I am still being told " I cannot make this decision, my manager will get in touch with you. " ... I have the reciept showing I paid 1012.21 for the bow , a Hypertac 425 , regestered it as required , all they can do is tell me the bow and parts are no longer available and offer me a bow of much lower cost and value as a replacement ... This is udder bull !!! I HAVE TRIED TO KEEP MY COOL BUT I AM SO FED UP ... Called again today and told the manager is not in today , maybe she will be tomorrow , not for sure .... I get it that things happen but this is utter nonsense . All I ask was to get a replacement bow with the same value and convenances as this one ...

Agree with the other reviews. I have a used crossbow that just developed delaminating limbs. Initial quick responses by email, then a slow trickle of non-responsiveness to keep you hoping but no real action to remedy.

CHRISTMAS PRESENT GONE BAD !! Assembly was very smooth , Whitetail Hunter STR looks like a very solid compact bow.The bow was unable to fire its first bolt due to a faulty E clip on the trigger system, concerns on quality control. Barnetts customer service was very difficult to contact, I have received the bow back from the factory .I hope quality control was doing its job this time .

Well I contacted Barnett by email Dec 1 2023 on their trade in program. I was informed parts were no longer available for my 350 ghost.It's mid March 2024 and just received a reply.Boy am I glad I bought me 2 excalibur crossbows since then.Stay away from their Chinese junk and brutal customer service. All our bow shops around me have dropped them because of bad customer service and junk from china.Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere.

Would give no stars if I could this crossbow came with a lifetime warranty on internal parts and manufacturers defects. But despite several attempts this company is impossible to reach I've left messages been on hold for hours before being sent to a voice mail. I alway leave a message still no response.

Terrible customer service I started trying to contact them 2 weeks ago and it said they would get back to you in 24 hours still no email or phone call. Will never buy any of there garbage ever again and will warn all friends and family to NOT buy from them as well. Had a bow limb split after 1 shooting session and less than a year old. I called and left 3 different messages and filled out the customer service contact request.

Bought a Barnett crossbow 5 years ago. Shot a bolt this past season and the bow pbroke in half. I tried calling no answer so I left message. Sent e mails with pictures and got no satisfaction from them. Even though supposedly had a 5 year warranty. WRONG. Finally got a call back from them 3 months later and she basically hung up on me because she said there was nothing they could do for me since I threw the crossbow in garbage. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T BUY A BARNETT BOW BECAUSE I KNOW I NEVER WILL AGAIN. Sincerely Paul Wallace

Yesterday I wrote a review about poor customer service. It has been HORRIBLE for almost 3 weeks with no response. But I have to say that finally when they did call me back they were incredible with my questions spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with me never rushing me. The explanation was that this time of the year with hunting in full swing the call support system is just overwhelmed with calls and they are changing their internet to make it more stream lined. But still took forever but they are very patient and know their products. VERY satisfied after they contacted me!

One word comes to mind crap the bows are ok not the best as some would like to say;but it's all about money really they dont care if you need help with something they are useless at helping out with problems. They just sell you the bows they dont know the answers to the questions you ask; they just Google it when your on the phone. The people answering the helplines have never shot a bow nor held a bow; there just ex mc Donald's workers that couldn't stick with the nuggets; they dont need knowledge on crossbows just fingers to pick up the phone and away they go; back on Google. Very very poor company shame really they let there selfs down

After having my Wildcat C5 misfire tangling the cocking string around my hand and almost breaking my fingers. The handle to the cocking rope busted a hole in the foregrip of the stock.. I wrote five emails with no reply then finally called them and all they did was give me the run-around!!With that being my third Barnett crossbow I can say this I will never buy a Barnett crossbow again their customer service sucks and they are done in my days of hunting

The 425 ghost crossbow speed is excellent, but for an elderly person shooting, you cannot see the bolt fly. I have spent over $100 trying to put lighted knocks on this and I have broken a string. Why can the less price bow have lighted knocks but this one cannot. I have lost deer due to not seeing bolt hitting the deer.

I purchased crank cocking device using my PayPal, I called them almost two weeks later and they telling me that my order was canceled without letting me know via email or phone call! They told me there was some error on their side so I made new order using PayPal account and same thing!...then I paid with my credit card i call them the next day if everything is fine with my order and they telling me same thing! I have wasted weeks with them. If I knew that’s how they treat customers I would never buy Barnett brand. I don’t know why they don’t care about customers who are willing to spend money? I have never experienced issues with my online transactions on other websites.

Do not Buy a Barnett Crossbow!!!! I have called customer service a several occasions and no one would answer. I bought a Hyperghost 425.Cannot get this bow to pattern on a target,Also there are not any bolts to purchase any where in the country.I am in a business where communication is everything.If Barnett is going to ignore there customers they should get out of the crossbow business.

Don’t buy absolutely no custom service. Bow itself is fine whitetail hunter 2 but the scope fell apart inside. Being only 2 seasons old maybe used 6 times I would figure the bow n scope would be good for a long time, not so. I take care of my stuff nothing has ever harmed my bow or scope. I have left 3 messages and 3 emails to Barnett support and its been over month and they have not gotten back to me… all I wanted to know is the scope under warranty or can it be fixed??? There message when u call says customer service is very important to them, well that’s a bunch of bs. Looks like I’ll be buying an after market scope. Don’t buy Barnett, very frustrated customer!

Honestly if I could I’d give them a zero, 1 is too good for this company. I ordered some hyperflight arrows for my hyperwhitetail crossbow over a month ago. They took my money just fine, however I’ve still not received my bolts. They don’t answer the phone or respond to repeated emails. Save yourself time and money and buy from another brand.

I bought a whitetail str 2 years ago , didn’t d shoot more than 20 arrows . I had surgery on my shoulder before hunting season . Went to go hunting in 2019 and the main string started to come apart. I’ve tried numerous times to get a replacement but without success. Sad I went hunting anyway, and the string broke while I pulled it back . Almost knocked me out of the stand . I really liked it at the beginning , but after all the negative comebacks from Barnett o would never buy their product again!!!

There should be a zero star option for their customer service. I emailed them Dec. 30th 2019, 2 days after purchasing to advise of 2 issues. I got an email response 4 MONTHS LATER on 4/2/20 with the simple question "What bow is this?" I responded with the information and of course to advise that waiting 4 months for a response was ridiculous. It is now August and I have yet to hear back from them, even sent a follow up email in Mid May. Buy another brand, these folks are a joke,,,,,here is what they state on their website homepage..."WE'RE DEDICATED TO EARNING YOUR TRUST THROUGH UNBEATABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE" Obviously they do not follow their own credo.

If I could give this company a zero I would. I bought a Barnett Assault 350 crossbow back in October. The quiver broke immediately. I called them and was told a replacement would be sent out immediately. Here it is December and still no replacement part. Spoke to another person in November who assured me it was being sent. That was a joke. Also sent an email with no response. Have tried calling several other times the waiting times are ridiculously long so I tried the call back feature. Still no call back. Had I read the reviews prior to this I never would have purchased a Barnett product.

I just got off the worst customer service call I ever experienced in my life... I have a Jackal I purchased from Amazon that came with 2 arrows, not 3 last week. When test firing over the weekend, something came loose inside the lens (glue or something / moves around).  I called about the missing arrow and getting a replacement scope instead of returning it. The customer service rep I spoke to was very rude and refused to honer the warranty because I purchased it from Amazon. After arguing about it, he put into your system only to tell me that would never be processed... He did it just to upset me even more.  Unbelievable, I really like my Jackal and thought pretty highly of Barnett up until this point. But this experience I just had was really mind blowing in bad way and unforgivable. I'll make sure get word about this out and warn people about your shady business practices. Update: Barnett resolved the issue with the customer support rep, missing arrow, and broken scope. Rating this 5 stars, as they went above and beyond to make up for my experience.

Bought a whitetail hunter this year. Love the bow, called about recommended arrows, and broadheads,for hunting, as they don't work as well as field points. 4+ hours on hold, then they hung up on me, still no answer. Forums have better info, and help. Hope I never have to call them again, could be hours before they hang up on you, like they did me. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
