Is bargainhardware.co.uk Legit?

My good look at all these good reviews? how often do you see this ?So what i think? Well i have to give this site 5 stars too.Prices for a DL380 G9 did seem reasonable and very good. CPU's are ridicules good priced while ram is ok priced and Raid controllers are somewhat expensive. That said i got a good configured server, Every thing look very well and nice. I think the website clearly lives up to their name. Its a bargain !There needs to be said this hardware is used so scratches etc need to be expected, Though the server i recieved was in really good condition. It was also very well packed and survived a several day trip from the UK to norway just fine.All was not perfect though but i think its a minor thing. When i ordered my server i had lots of choices for raid controllers even if they did not fit because of a bug on the website, and right now that chassis gives no option for raid controllers. Website can be a bit slow at times where it can be a long wait for the site to load.In general the raid controller issue was fast and speedy resolved the same day via Email communication with very well responses.I had a quick call today to them and wait time for support where low and i got a good reasonable reply to a question i had about an error message (hp being silly ballons not the fault or anything bargain hardware can fix ... basically not always 3rd party drives get accepted) So my experience is extremely good and there is nothing to complain on. And the hardware seems very well priced and fair. The 3 year warranty for most parts is also a really nice plus.

This review is off the back of things going wrong.Bargain Hardware where great at getting my order out to me but after an issue with my product weeks after delivery, BH where brilliant at getting it sorted. Quick response on email followed by a call and a solution being found to get everything working. when things went wrong BH was 'stand up'.

I am using bargain hardware for a couple of years. They are very professional, reactive and provide quality service alongside with good hardware. On top of that, prices are really really interesting. Servers and business equipment are the most interesting for me. I recommend them strongly.Regarding the after sales service, they assist and are of a great help. They do not leave you without support and are looking forward to giving you the best service.

Needed my server as soon as possible and they got it to me a day earlier - couldn't be happier.

My company needed something fairly specific, so I spoke with the Team at BH, who were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Their web builder service online is excellent, really flexible and offers a wide range of cost and performance options. A machine was put together soon after, and available for collection 48 hours later. The machine itself is immaculate inside, looks like new and fits the bill perfectly. Thanks to BH, their great service allowed me to procure a powerful, fit-for-purpose machine, to my exact spec., at a fraction of the new cost. Will definitely return when we need to replace our other, outdated test rigs!

I knew what the missing part looked l didn't have a part number, sent the image.Within a couple of minutes the part was identified and a price for next day deliveryExcellent.

Had an issue with a failed hard drive. Called Bargain Hardware Support who were excellent!Within minutes we had confirmed my issue and arranged for a fresh hard drive to be delivered.I later called back to verify the physical swap procedure and again received prompt and accurate advice.It's difficult to imagine how the process could have been any better.

Very smooth ordering process - and great communication during the build and test - one small issue was very quickly resolved (there was a slight issue due to me trying to cram too much into the mini-desktop I was buying). The delivery was quicker than I expected and the unit was extremely well packaged with very robust bubble wrap. My only very minor issue is that I did not realise the power brick needed a clover leaf style "c5" plug rather than the usual kettle one and I did not included a mains lead in my order - but that was on me for not knowing "C5" = clover, not kettle. After a deep rummage through my spare cables box I did find one! System is now up and running perfectly. Would definitely recommend these guys.

I needed a Dell r730xd chassis quick as I had a dead server. Didn't want to have to spend ages troubleshooting exact problem so I thought I would just swap out chassis + motherboard and cpu's. I picked up my boxed server with cpu's from the warehouse 2 hours later and was up and running again that day - incredible service, very good price and no messing me about with stuff I didn't want or need - just listened and got on with it - so good.

Quality service, I recommend a lot!I had a problem with an airlock disk that I had ordered 6 months ago. I contacted them and they immediately offered to send me a new record with the same characteristics.I ordered for over $1500 in 8 months, I had no problems with them. The equipment is in very good condition, it works perfectly and in case of problems their customer service is attentive and very competent.I highly recommend Bargain Hardware for personal use or for small businesses with a low budget!

Purchased an HP laptop for a very reasonable price about 5 months ago. Very happy with it until it refused to boot a few days ago. Got in touch with Bargain Hardware support, via email, who responded very quickly. Although the error code was 'general motherboard failure' it turned out to be faulty RAM. I was fully expecting to have to return the laptop to them but they offered me the option of just replacing the RAM myself which saved a huge amount of time and hassle. RAM arrived next day and sorted the issue completely. I cannot praise them highly enough - I have rarely received a better (or faster) customer service response. Will definitely be using BH in the future - highly recommended!

We have had nothing but excellent service from Bargain Hardware. We have bought from them several times, and if there's an issue they're very easy to contact, always respond quickly and are always very happy to sort it out (in this instance, we had a drive fail under warranty).They also offer excellent value for money.We will keep using them as a supplier.

Item sold did not conform to the its basic normal standard. Support team was not versed with the requisite information about the product. I had to personally go to HP to get response to the questions asked. The answers were totally in reverse to what bargain warehouse gave.

Just bought a hi-end refurbed workstation from BH. (HP Z8G4 768GB RAM). Very helpful support chap gave me lots of info before I bought. The cost was less than half of a new system. The workstation came within 4 working days, whereas I was quoted about 4 weeks for a new top-end Workstation. I will definitely be back!

Support very knowledgeable and friendly.The site is very solid on its own (prevents misconfiguration, saves you tons of time and headaches to make sure everything works together) and the prices fair; but what really made the difference to me was the tech support – that really makes me comfortable purchasing from BH again.
