Is bambooairways.com Legit?

My first time using Bamboo Airways was an absolute pleasure. The Airline Staff were very helpful, my flight was cancelled due to flooding and Bamboo Airways kept me updated with my new flight and departure time through both email and SMS. My first experience will have me booking my fights through Bamboo Airways in the future. Thank you for your quality customer service and for making my first trip with your airline extremely enjoyable.

They made me buy another flight because one of the tickets was missing a surname and on the other they charged me extra for changing the order between the first and last name. They also wanted to charge me for excess weight. Do not choose this company. It's a shame that a company has to resort to these bad arts where they only want to get angry and get money from their customers.

Booked flights from Gatwick to HoChi Min. Flights cancelled 12 days before and nearly a year later still no refund. They don't answer emails. They basically stole our money.

Be careful with this airline if you mess up with your first name and surname they make money on changing it.I understand if you change to different name u need to pay but if wrong order between first and surname and they still ask you to pay?Robbery

Worst airline experience. As others have mentioned, no refund has been issued for my flight from Hanoi to Tokyo, even after more than 10 months.

Bamboo Airways is scammy company. Waiting more than half year for refund for cancelled flight. They dont comunicate through email or call centre. I wasted one day of my holidays in Hanoi in their Office just to listen lyes. My booking reference is QF23MF. I will review them on other platforms too, because they didn't give me other choice.

The worst airline experience I’ve ever had. Flight from Hanoi to Da Nang was ok, except for the inside of the planes being extremely dirty. They refused to allow us to board on the return journey because our middle names were not on the tickets. They said we would need to buy new tickets and request a refund for the old ones. We bought new tickets elsewhere. Absolute scam.

The only airline in the world that denied boarding because my middle name wasn’t on the ticket. Had to buy another ticket at double the price. It should be illegal. Do not fly with Bamboo airways. Oh and they then tried to charge us for going 1kg over weight until we reminded them we have THREE TICKETS FOR TWO PEOPLE.

Had a flight booked from Germany to Hanoi. It was canceled by them due to operational reasons. Waiting for nine months for a refund.They always write the same stuff in their emails. Never committing to a date. It just takes „longer than usual“ because of a new system. 9 months!!! After eight months they offered me a ticket voucher. Ridiculous. Right afrer cancellation ok, but not anymore. Anything other than a refund now is just ridiculous.I right now need to assume they stole my money. A shame. When I had flown with them before, I liked the service onboard. Now I need to assume they are scammers.

0 stars! We booked flights from Frankfurt to Vietnam in August. 3 weeks before they were canceled unexpectedly and no matter what you try, we still don't have the money back! No service and no alternative was provided by Bamboo Airways but they still keep our payment. Worst airline!

Decided to fly business class from HCMC to London. When I arrived home and opened my suitcase I discovered 3 watches had been stolen. These things happen and so I emailed Bamboo to report the theft and ask about next steps. No reply after 3 days, despite me sending a reminder each day. If you want to use a reliable Vietnamese airline try Vietnam Airlines, if you want your valuables stolen and then to be ignored then by all means give Bamboo Airways a go, they’ll be more than happy to treat you like something they found on the bottom of their shoe.

I have sent countless emails trying to get confirmation of my rescheduled flight. My booking online is still showing as the old one, which is very concerning as I'm meant to fly soon. I can't seem to get any answer on the phone, or email. I hope someone tries to respond to me before we fly, else the holiday we will be forced to book with another airline.

Turned up to the airport for my flight to be told it was cancelled. First time we were told about it so that was annoying. The Bamboo staff told me to email them for a refund so I did that. I've now been waiting 7 months for a refund despite chasing multiple times and emailing every email address at Bamboo.

Both flights on two consecutive days were rescheduled for a late night flights, with no notice. The mobile app is unavailable for 3 days in a row due to "maintenance ". The crew has no proper training, female FA acting like robots, with sour faces. The only good thing was the new plane and an Australian pilot.

I have just received notification 15 days before I am due to leave London to fly back to Australia that all flights are cancelled from London! No alternative provided!A business class airfare wasted!I am hopeful of a refund!But worse than that… I am stuck with trying to get back to Australia at this time of year when flights are very heavily booked!Do NOT ever ever use this airline!Seriously,.. I have been in Europe for three months…. surely a bit more notice could have been possible!Absolutely disgusting service!

My mother died an unexpected and sudden death before we could take our flights to our home country. I contacted the airline and they were extremely helpful and understanding. Even though we didn't have a insurance for the case that we weren't able to fly, the airline was open to refund the whole costs of my mother's tickets and only took a small fee for my sister's and mine. We were very relieved that our money was not wasted as we need it for the funeral. I am more than happy and satisfied with the costumer support of the airline. And they were also very friendly and empathatic. All you need is to contact them in English or Vietnamese (I used an translater and it worked perfectly).

Hassle: They canceled my flight and I submitted the form for the refund after a long time while they didn't try to reply. Now already over 90 days, since their hotline accepted and acknowledged the refund request and I still got nothing back.. It seems if you are not Vietnamese, they steal you and not bother to reply to you even.. I don't recommend booking with those.

I had 3 trips in business Class from Frankfurt to Saigon and back. The business class has good seats, but it‘s not the experience of a international business class like in planes of Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qatar. The cheapest wine, no drinks from the bar, not a good Whiskey, Cognac or Cocktail. In Germany Rail&Fly is not available, also not a complementary chauffeur service. But the worst of all 3 flights is that my return flight to Germany has been cancelled. Now it‘s enough, never again

October 12th I bought 2 tickets plus some insurrance for our trip from Da Nang to Da Lat. On November 1st I received an Amalie from Bamboo Airways saying that our flight has been cancelled. I send immediately a request for refund my tickects, and got a confirmation from Bamboo Airways saying that they will handle my request. So I have to wait. In the mean time I found out ramdomly about the financial challenges that Bamboo Airlines is facing, incl. all the negative reviews in Trust Pilot. So I was actually giving up my hope for refund in my mind and did not follow up on my request. Then I got a new e-mail from Bamboo Airways on November 20th saying that they will refund my tickects. 3 days later I saw the refund for both the tickets and the assurances in my bank account. So thank you for that, Bamboo Airways and I hope that your Company overcomes the challenges.
