Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between avaowen-toronto.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of avaowen-toronto.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

The exact same online store in Vancouver is Avery Attire. Another webpage, same store is Venuries. I found this out googling a brand they were selling, the other two websites came up. The sale ended the day I looked, but now it ends today. In fact I doubt it ever end as it does not give a date but rather says today. Further what their clothes are made of. ? It just says clothing material. What is that?.
Likely another of the Chinese scams. Not a local store, but a Chinese company selling direct. Quality and/or fit may be poor; shipping times long; and any returns allowed at the buyer\'s expense (back to China).
Suspicious- customer must mail return to Asia & pay ship Clothing comes from China AI- creation likely with numerous locations- diff store names-same clothes Similar to Grace\'s bags- which you gave it a very bad scam rating. if few complaints so far- likely since only 1 month in business
poor quality product although shipped quickly ~ zipper malfunctioned on coat on arrival. Despite my repeated immediate request for a refund (which their website clearly states ‘ easy returns’~ they insisted on sending another jacket. Emails were prompt and automated ignoring customer service . i do not recommend this company !!
Impulse buy. Got sucked in. Don’t do it. Took 3 weeks to arrive, material feels gross and very flammable. Toronto is misleading because it came from Asia. Email response to delivery delay was over the top with appreciation for purchase. Now sent refund email. We shall see. In my eyes… scam!
Same experience as above. 3.5 week delivery. Clothing quality nothing like what the pictures depicted. Long drawn out back and forth email responses instead of all the information in one go. If they had given me the return address (no label to print) on day one...the package could have been out the door before this Canadian postal strike. I think I have to kiss my purchase price away. No more impulse shopping for me.
Sadly my mother was stupid enough to buy from this stupid store, over $300 in jackets that most likely won\'t fit her( she\'s a bigger lady) I should of read & looked at the website myself instead of her using my PayPal account to purchase. It\'s been almost two weeks & tracking doesn\'t even show its left Asia yet. I\'m not even going to bother contacting their supposed customer support I\'m going to try and get her money back through PayPal. Just a bunch of scabs who should be punished by more than just the law for fraud and theift. Maybe if there was something ACTUALLY done to these people, something that is feared, than we wouldn\'t have so much of this problem. I\'ll let everyone know the outcome of my now PayPal battle.
I’ve placed an order about 10 days ago but like everyone else I get a generated response ! I’m wondering if I’m even going to get it! So frustrating
I was fooled into buying from AvaOwen-Toronto as I could not find any information on their website that this was not a Toronto location. I ordered 2 jackets 2 sizes up from my usual size and not trusting their size chart. The following day I received an email with tracking information from China. I tried to cancel the order by email unsuccessfully. Of course, the jackets are way too small and made out of horrible polyester knit. One has a fleece lining that is shedding clumps. Their website is very professional looking. Many emails back and forth about returning the items have been extremely frustrating. I’ve explained many times that we have a postal strike but they will not accept a return after December 10th. I will never ever again order from any company advertised on Facebook or Instagram!
Feeling ripped off too ordered November 11th and still nothing other than weird updates on delivery status about customs clearing houses etc when just being sent from Toronto supposedly to Alberta. Latest update today the 28 th with the time of 8:30 pm and that was posted this morning. Calling my credit card to see if anything can be done since definitely a scam .
Usually very careful but got taken on this one. Several weeks later, products never arrived and there is no way to contact anyone. Stay away!
Sadly, I got scammed by Ava Owen Toronto too. They have a slick looking web site, but there is no store in Toronto, and they have not been in business for 20 years. I ordered a hoodie and the tracking number showed as China Post, but even the tracking is fake. I paid with my credit card using ShopPay, and reported Ava Owen Toronto to ShopPay, FaceBook, and my credit card company, but no one seems to care. Meanwhile, these scum bags continue to operate and steal from people.
My mother ordered 3 jackets from them weeks ago. Nothing received yet. We were suspicious if this website was a scam. She lives in Alberta and should have received her order if they were in fact from Toronto by now. Will tell her to call her credit card company to see if anything can be done.
total scam website open a dispute with your credit card if you purchased anything from them the site is still operating even though the RCMP in Canada are aware it\'s not a legit company and have verified this through an email after I reported them
