autogeek.net Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives autogeek.net a medium-high trust score on the platform: 75.4. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 75.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to autogeek.net's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning autogeek.net, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between autogeek.net and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of autogeek.net. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of autogeek.net, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. autogeek.net is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether autogeek.net has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether autogeek.net boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, autogeek.net.

“Placed Order, Charged, No Updates, No Response”

Well, after deliberating over this, I've decided to join the ranks of those whose escalating frustration has pushed past the precipice. I am a professional high end detail studio in metro Atlanta and have been purchasing from Autogeek for "years". There was always someone to answer the phones, pleasant and professional. Orders were always processed the same day and usually shipped by the next day along with email notifications providing tracking information, etc… and, orders were usually received within 3 business days, coming from Florida. Well, guess this is a case of become to big for their britches. I recently placed an order for a much needed product, received an email confirmation of the order placed and then another email stating order was being processed. After not receiving a shipping notice a few days later, I clicked on the tracking link and all I get is "tracking I got is not available for this order, please log in or create an account to access information". After several attempts, I kept getting kicked out stating the email used already exists… I've run out of email addresses to use 😵‍💫. So now, I decide to call. Much to my surprise and dismay, discovered they no longer allow human interaction communication. FOR REAL? C'mon. All order and customer service inquiries can only be facilitated by email only, with the "always full" VM mailbox stating all inquiries will be answered "PROMPTLY". As a high volume service related company, this is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. I've yet to receive any response in any capacity regarding the status of my order, but, they did make sure they took my hard earned money. Just because we're well into the digital Information age, that doesn't justify removing the ever so important need for human interaction. In my opinion, their customer service is no longer existent and they don't seem to be concerned. I So happy for Autogeek having become so large and successful, logic dictates they would use some of this incredible profit revenue to grow their customer service "dept" commensurately and stock it with human beings to talk with customers. They probably spent more on computers, software and IT technology to handle their new system of "customer service" than they would've paying human beings to do the job…While my decision to no longer do business them won't bankrupt them and, I'm sure they couldn't care less for losing me as a customer, I certainly hope this creates a justifiable wave… Products used:Haven’t used anything because I have yet to even receive my order Service Value Shipping Quality

“Half full bottle”

Edit: Autogeek made things right and sent me new bottle. After waiting nearly a month to receive my order. I get a bottle that was used and only half full. The box was dry so it did not leak out. I will stay away from this place in the future. Tip for consumers:Edit: They made things right and I will do business with them again. Products used:Car care products Service Value Quality

“0 stars. Terrible customer service to say the least”

The website says it takes a day normally to fulfill an order. It has been four days now, I have emailed them twice, called them, nobody has bothered to even reach back out to me. My product is still waiting to be fulfilled and I am now losing customers. They took my money and will not answer any of my communications. Now I am forced to cancel the credit card transaction and go somewhere else. Stay away from this company. There's plenty of other places to go. I did finally speak to a person after 4 or 5 days and looks like product has shipped. We will see Tip for consumers:It is impossible to reach anybody to find out what is going on with your order. At this point I told him I would drive 2 1/2 hours one way just to get it. They still don’t respond. Products used:None. Didn’t ship so I canceled the transaction

“Never had such a bad experience.”

Wow, package came 6 car pro products none had any tape to seal them. Guess what- the Perl bottle was empty! Not empty like it leaked or spilled, and not clean empty- it had a thin residue of product but all empty. On top of that I was missing a detailing brush from my order all together… tried to call- message box is full and can't take messages… of course it is! Stay away from this company - this doesn't make sense how this can happen…. Products used:Carpro detailing Service Value Shipping

“Incorrect product description.”

I bought an air filter that was labeled as fitting a Subaru Outback 2016. It was the wrong filter! Many of the filters on their site are labeled incorrectly. They will not pay for return shipping even if it is THEIR FAULT. I will not use their site again. :(

“Absolutely the best place to get car care supplies online!”

There is nowhere better to shop online for outstanding car care products! These guys are car enthusiasts themselves and they don't sell anything that they aren't able to demonstrate and explain on their own cars. It is the best community of enthusiasts anywhere and I love doing business with them. Long live Autogeek!

“Blackfire blackice hybrid liquid wax bad bad batch”

Used my wax twice since I've received it. I can't get it to blend together. It just runs like water. I've tried to shake it up for 5 mins. It is nothing like I've seen in the video where it's being used. I really like the wax. Because of the 32 oz. Liquid hybrid wax is a excellent wax. This is one of the products I've had an issue with. Please reply. Thank you.

“SUPER SLOW”

Don't order from this company if you need the part in a timely fashion. Their delays are not worth the savings or the convenience of ordering online. Could have gpt in the Carano had the piece right away. It has taken over a week to get a simple part.

“My go to place now!”

I found a cover for my high roof transit van... no one else had it. I bought a polisher that my local supplier said isnt made for the last 3 years... autogeek has it. All shipped quickly and accurately. I am definitely looking here for all my future needs! I highly recommend this place.

“Deceptive listings”

Have used Autogeek.com quite a bit. I recently made a fairly large purchase on one of their sales. To my happy surprise my cart had a number of little free items and such. The item had no purchase requirements, just were available. I assumed that I met a dollar amount. I saw my order shipped and all but one was cancelled. I was annoyed and was wondering why. I was informed that the items were contingent on some other purchases. That was not listed and they were readily clickable when my purchase was made. This is very deceptive business practices. This is not the way free items were presentd. I was lied to. First time Autogeek has been deceptive. There are many other places to purchase on the web, be careful and take screenshots to hold them accountable. They lied to me, so I am sure I am not the only one. Too bad

“Autogeek Tampering with Products”

First time purchasing from AG and had a extremely horrible experience. The Carpro Reset bottle I received had no production date on the bottom, Girt Guard insert had no retail packaging and the GYEON Mohs Evo I received was missing a few contents (verified with the company). It is really bizarre that AG would tamper with retail packaging of products. I suspect they are either trying to clear out old inventory hence removing production date stickers or they are selling returned products. Anyhow this will be my first and last time purchasing from them. Service Quality

“Poor - No Price Protection for Customers!”

Extremely dissatisfied, Autogeek did NOT price protect customer. I purchased an item and 1 day after a sale promo came up - and Autogeek DID NOT extend the new sale price to my purchase - which I did not even receive yet. DON'T SHOP AT AUTOGEEK! - they won't support you the customer, if you buy something and it goes on sale 1 day after you place the order they don't care to honor the sale.

“Sell bad parts then will not help to return or replace”

Bought 4 coil pack. 2 were bad from the get go. Sent it to the shop by this time after the shop over 30 days. Shop says 2 of the 4 are bad no help from customer service

“Great company... Great service!”

I have purchased from Autogeek several times and have never been let down. Love this company. I will purchase from them again.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
