audible.de Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives audible.de one of the lowest trust scores on the platform: 12.8. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 12.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to audible.de's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning audible.de, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between audible.de and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of audible.de. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of audible.de, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. audible.de is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether audible.de has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether audible.de boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, audible.de.

English:Audible (Amazon). Wow. There are dozens of things that make this company one of the most unpleasant ever. It’s the service hell.Example: I want to return an audiobook that is really poorly made. There's no link for this on the homepage (as usual). I would have to call the UK (!!!) to contact their service. Of course, this is intentional, so people give up on trying to return.I think this is at least legally questionable. Morally, it's obviously wrong. But Amazon doesn’t care about morality - we know it's always about maximum profit by any means necessary.Sad. Worrisome and for me, the end of the Audible/Amazon relationship. I spend thousands of euros a year on Amazon. Now I've had enough. The power of these companies is and will certainly become a major problem.Deutsch:Audible (Amazon). Wow.
My partially sighted partner signed up for Audible in the uk….cancelled the direct debit after months and only after checking his bank balance realised that Audible.de were taking £12.97 for the Premium service (no books provided or requested) and was unable to find where and how to cancel. Eventually obtained this telephone no from a kind guy at Amazon uk. German ph no. +49 (0049) 94178878900 and they sorted it by refunding.
Audible is deducting regularly every month the subscription BUT gives no credit for books ALSOwhen trying to contact Audible.de I only get silly pretyped answers about anything but the problem I am questioning. Audible is a scam!!a telephone contact they’re providing is not working
Unfortunately, no minus stars are available. Never, ever again would I book anything on a trial basis with Audible or Amazon. You need an IT degree to figure out how to cancel. And then, once you think you have been successful, the next payment is made. Awful. Horrible. Only designed to nick your money. And imagine how many 100s of thousands or more trusting customers experience this. Shoot your spaceships, destroy our environment, but the main thing is that Jeff Bezos dies rich. I'm most certain these comments will be wiped.
Continued to charge me for a subscription I did not even know I had with audible.de after signing up AND cancelling on audible.co.uk.I have all the emails and screenshots of cancellation. They continued to send threating emails. Please do not subscribe, you will create a lot of unnecessary admin and headaches in your life.I am now in a process of requesting all my information from audible.de under the EU law in order to establish what information they have about my actions and account status.UPDATE (20 July 2023)Spoke to an agent via chat who indicated that she will ensure my account is cancelled and that I do not have to pay the outstanding fees. Will monitor whether the threatening documents and emails continue.
The billing is the only thing that works best. When stopping the already paid month, the service is not usable from this moment though they charge the full month. Never had a good customer experience with any Amazon service so far. Beware of zero support and agressive charging if you ever ask for help.
I ordered an audiobook from them which i never received. After a myriad of emails, it is virtually impossible to reach them, they never addressed my issue and sent me prefabricated emails about priblems with my account. As though my request and purchase did not exist!!! But the money went out of my bank account. Appalling.... Do never use them! A scam...
Audible.de is a scam. They hijacked my Audible UK account details and they added an extra £12 plus charge each month. They are then very difficult / impossible to contact.
The commercial clips are load to the max, it ignores the volum setting and litterly screems out of the speakers. Just discusting, dont support scam companies like this one!
Sent 14 invoices to my 10 year old daughter. Total 1,000 Euro. We cannot fi d these orders at Amazon nor in our majls. This is a scam company so very very careful
I’ve received 6 invoices through the post for various euro amounts for things I’ve never ordered or used - not at all impressed! Massive scam
Never again!!!! After cancelling my membership they still taking money every month!!!
After I cancelled the Abo, they still kept taking money each month from my account. I had the email with my cancellation and contacted the customer service. They were absolutely unhelpfulI. will block them from my account. No money back so far. still trying to get the money back. So FINGER WEG

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too.
