auctionnation.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives auctionnation.com a medium trust score on the platform: 61.3. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Small Risk. Standard. Active.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this lower score? We came up with the 61.3 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to auctionnation.com's industry. The algorithm detected potential activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Small Risk. Standard. Active. tags above. Long story short, please use caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning auctionnation.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between auctionnation.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of auctionnation.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of auctionnation.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. auctionnation.com is a somewhat safer website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether auctionnation.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether auctionnation.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, auctionnation.com.

Bought a broken Ice maker had a sticker torn off it that said damaged
I enjoy finding quality, name-brand items at discounted prices. Generally, you are informed about the item's condition, ie. new, opened box but looks good, etc.Locations are throughout the greater Phoenix area which adds to the unique experience. Also, hours vary depending upon the pick-up location.
The product was exactly as expected via the photos and description. Within 2 minutes the staff delivered the product to mr for my approval and signature. The transaction was soooo smoth. No surprises or disappointments. I'll be back!
These guys are super easy to work with! They have many super convenient locations all over the valley!! Absolutely love these auctions as a way to supplement my income. Plus it's like Christmas with the pallets!! You never know what you're going to get!!!
Have had winning bid at close dozens of times just to find out at pickup that someone bid after close or the item "wasn't available" One of two possibilities here: - their programming sucks and the 3m extension has a que error and/or geosync timing is off-OR they're cherry picking lots and post bidding after close to sell for cash out the back door. Screen shot the winning bidder numbers and watch the pattern
The only thing that I would say needs to be done better is possibly collect all items in advance and having them ready for the customer. Waiting time is way to long. Especially if we are buying from multiple auction locations. Also, descriptions need to be more detailed and accurate.
For the most part I have had pretty good experiences with auctions on auction nation. A couple things that I’ve purchased were not as described in the auction… but most of them have been great. It’s usually not a big deal unless it’s something I paid a significant amount of money for.
Be careful of what is listed as a guarantee for the item you are bidding on. A lot of items are not tested or have missing parts. I understand that testing costs time and money but so does losing bidders because items do not work. Electrical items, including battery operated devices should be given a 24hour guarantee to test batteries and items for functionality. Also i do not believe that employees should be allowed to bid up items to reach the reserved price. if the item does not reach the reserve it should be pulled for that reason. Thanks for your time.
I bid usually at 3 different locations.1. University/Alma school Mesa. Everyone is very friendly and get my items very quickly.2. Ultimate Tempe 48th/ Southern. Owners Justin and Jason run a really awesome team. very friendly, get my items very quickly. Always willing to help load.3. E.Phx Washington st/32nd Friendly staff. usually have to wait for items. Manager Delia is on top of everything and everyone. Building is too cold in winter and tooo hot in summer.
Some of the products offer don’t have the proper information or are useless defective or have false advertising they need to put more information And also looks like the business increase and bid their self to increase pricesAlso refunds take to long to process if you remains them don’t process the refundDeal shop is one of themOr you buy something really good and think is the best deal and when you ready to pick up they don’t find your merchandise and later you see it in another auction
Overall A.N. is good. However, there is a major improvement that could be made. Once you save something to your favorites you should be able to see the location of the auction without going into the item. The location should be listed right on the listing in your favorites.
Auction nation should be set more up Nellis auction, You're in-and-out within 5 minutes. They assign you to a parking spot, moments later they'll bring all your merchandise to your car.
Whoever is in charge of the coin auctions, always gets back to me in a timely manner and my emails and texts get answered and are very helpful. This was not always the case,as corporate almost always used to mot answer calls, they answer emails.
The site is put together very well and easy to use.The only issue’s I have is that the locations are closed on Weekends and the two day pick up with the store only open for pick up on regular business hours which is hard to pick up when your working the same hours during the day. I wouldn’t have issue to pay a extra fee to pick up on schedule time over the weekend or after hours during the week so I wouldn’t loss the item and the money that was spent for the items due to working. Also be great to have color coded in the description for items that are parts (red), good condition (green), slightly damaged but still works (yellow) so you aware on the bids of the items and don’t have issue on the day of pick up. Except for those small issues the site is great and I enjoy bidding on the items to get great deals!
Awesome platform, it is exactly how it should be!! U are not charged anything if u don’t win and the fees are fully disclosed upfront. Picking up items is a breeze, no complaints whatsoever!!
The staff at the front desk are very kind and respectful, I always come in with my kids and they are so kind it’s amazing to see people still value nice customer service ! My daughters enjoy shopping at the little store they have in the front area.
I think it’s time to up the game baby!!! Need more variety and the stuff you have available now It’s just a weird way of getting things fixed around the house witch So on my days off I work. More auto parts and toys for men, hunting, fishing, camping, extreme sports stuff, that would be awesome!!
Items at this auction site are literally hit and miss! If you have an option to check out a listing prior to Bidding is highly recommended! And always inspect items prior to leaving a facility. Half the time the items you get are a good deal!
I won bid on a Ninja appliance that appeared in good condition, but did not show a picture with the lid open. The assistant that brought out my products, brought out a new in box Ninja grill instead of the pot, which I honestly returned to get the right product. The desk attendant was professional & retrieved the correct Ninja pot, which turned out to be extremely used & dirty, containing old food crumbs. Since the pot was listed "as is" they would not refund/cancel my funds. So the lesson is, be very careful about what to bid on, pay attention to the pictures, as if you can't see inside something and there's no box, pass on it! On the up side, most of my bids over the years have been positive!
I have bought numerous items from Auction Nation over the years and I usually happy with my purchase. I save 1/2 to 2/3 off of retail simply because the box is damaged in most cases!

“Be careful of this auction house”

I have purchased items from this auction website in the amount of well over $10K. This is an auction house website that also "front ends" other "auction places". When dealing with auctions coming directly from AuctionNation I have not had any issues and up until this past week I had not had any issues with any of the other auction places that it front ends. That all changed this past week. Some auction place, I use that phrase VERY loosely here, put up an auction and I bid on an item and won (yay, or so I thought). Usually you get 3 days to pick up the item, in this case it was only two. I was unable to make it, because of the crap with the corona virus in those two days. With ALL of the other auctions I have done through this website they were accommodating and understanding if you asked them. There was no contact information for this particular auction and when I reached out to AuctionNation they stated they had no way to contact them. I went to the pickup location on the third day, hoping to talk to someone, and the location was a parking lot with nobody there. I asked the business nearest to the location and they stated that those people just come and go and didn't know when they would be back. When I informed AuctionNation of this all they told me was you forfeited your money because you didn't pick it up as stated in the auction. So, moral of the story, AuctionNation is willing to throw away an over $10K customer for $9 and not back up any of the locations that THEY are allowing on their website, claiming they have no way to contact them (which I find hard to believe considering they still have to give them the money for the items, all charges go through AuctionNation). So, in summary, be very careful when bidding on this website, AuctionNation takes NO responsibility for anything that is on it, period.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
