ashwoodmelbourne.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives ashwoodmelbourne.com a fairly low score on the platform: 21.6. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Suspicious. Unsafe. Doubtful.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 21.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to ashwoodmelbourne.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Suspicious. Unsafe. Doubtful. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning ashwoodmelbourne.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between ashwoodmelbourne.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of ashwoodmelbourne.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of ashwoodmelbourne.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. ashwoodmelbourne.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether ashwoodmelbourne.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether ashwoodmelbourne.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, ashwoodmelbourne.com.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT purchase from this website. Products delivered bear no resemblance to the descriptions on their website. Absolute garbage! There is no Australian presence or store. When requesting a return and refund, you will be offered a percentage off your next purchase. I persisted, and was provided with a return address in China. I returned the goods, at a cost of $52 and kept hounding their so-called customer service website. Surprising, I received a full refund. So ultimately my $99 purchase and the $52 expense for return shipping meant the whole miserable experience cost $47. I would rather burn the money rather than go through the aggravation again!
Would give less than one star if it was possible. Awful experience they are not an Australian based company- things come from China and when you ask the question, they say it was a one off because the warehouse needed restocking or some other untruth. Products are very poor quality, really small sizes and I am still arguing trying to get a refund for my product. They want me to send it back to China at half the cost of what I bought for the product when I told them I refuse to do that and demanded a refund they have now gone quiet, please do not buy from this company.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They are Infact multiple trading under multiple company names!!!They are not Australian based - shipments come from ChinaI ordered shoes a month ago, the courier service they use (17Track) or something like that are absolute scammers!!! They suggested they attempted delivery a number of times (WHICH THEY DID NOT) and have now returned the product to sender - back to YANWENyou cannot contact them by phone, only email and the responses are all AUTOMATED there is no human on the other end! This company should be taken to A Current affair Ashwood Melbourne rep (Ann Heaward) is who I am corresponding with re my refund which she said today will get back to me in ‘a while’ once she confirms items are returnedWhat a bloody SCAM!
BUYERS BEWARE - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. IT'S NOT AN AUSTRALIAN COMPANY. PRODUCTS ON THE WEBSITE ARE NOTHING LIKE WHAT I GOT - VERY POOR QUALITY. IT'S A RIP-OFF.
A scam. This is not a Melbourne based company or retail store. The items I ordered were cheap, crappy fabric and nothing like the photos. The cut was poor and shape and the knit wasn’t a knit. More like a felt fabric. Overall waste of money. BEWARE. There are other similar sites with well known Australian locations in the business title eg. Byron Bay, Bondi. Gold Coast.
I have to say my experience with them was mixed. The items turned up. Not the material shown on the advertisement. Synthetic and way, WAY too small. There was no way I could fit into the sizes they sent me unless I was a stick figure.I emailed them and told them I was returning the items and did so at my own expense. They confirmed they would accept the items back and refund me. They did. They confirmed they had received the items and they credited my account almost immediately. So other than the items not being what I ordered, material and size wise their customer service was excellent.
I purchased from this company believing I was buying from a Melbourne business. The product that arrived was INCREDIBLY poor-quality, NOT AT ALL reflective of the website photographs or description. I was informed that this product needed to be returned to China at my own expense ($40) to receive a refund. I returned the item within 48 hours. I have received nothing but excuses as to why my refund has not been processed. One star is too many :(
Do not purchase from this website.I purchased some items that they shipped directly from China. The quality was terrible and the size was way too small. When I tried to return the items they informed me that I needed to organise and send the items back to China myself and pay for the postage. They have refused to give me any details for their address or further contact details in Australia.
My idiot husband bought not one but two jackets. I could have made better and I can barely sew on a button. An expensive lesson for him....
If I could give negative stars, I would. This is cheap Chinese crap. Deceptively advertised as linen pants, but I received cheap cotton pants (like you’d get for $5 in Bali). Terrible fit too. Linen and cotton are not the same - they come from different plants. The company are demanding goods be returned to China at a cost of $30, yet we only need to claim $5 worth of goods to Chinese customs…. There’s proof of inferior quality. Waste of $74 (on sale from $150)
Cheap Chinese knockoffs with zero quality. Demand you pay shipping to return the item to china to get a refund. These guys are crooks. Pretend to be based in Australia but all bull. Don’t waste your money or your time dealing with them.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
