We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 58.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to asgrecovery.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Active. Medium-Risk. tags above. Long story short, we still see some red flags with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning asgrecovery.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between asgrecovery.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of asgrecovery.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of asgrecovery.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. asgrecovery.com is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether asgrecovery.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.

The first voicemail I received from this company was a woman who said, "this is not the first time we've contacted you and it won't be the last". Which I thought was odd, considering. The second time was a man who sounded high. Both times were from different cities. Neither voicemail had any kind of information as to what kind of debt they were trying to recover. I get so many scammers emailing me and calling that I barely answer my phone anymore. These people sound like scammers because they don't give any info that is legit. Any debt collector is going to begin the call with something like, "I'm calling regarding a debt you have with Sprint from 2018" - as an example.

Same here, calling number was 458-200-0520, exact same recording: Hey, this is Tammy with a S G this is not the first time. We've tried to call in and out certainly won't be the last until we can get something figured out here. I did want to make you aware that the extra 10% savings applied to your pay off online is temporary. So I urge you to lock in the settlement on your account now even if you don't have the funds to settle it you can set up a partial payment plan or you can schedule your settlement for a later, date. When you are able to pay it as of now, though 1099 C tax form has been issued on this account. So please take care of it before further action is required. We do also report to the credit bureaus and all applicable account. So again, I urge you to take this seriously and take advantage of this offer our website address is www. Dot. A S G recovers .com that is a S G recovers .com. I'm legally required to inform you. This is an attempt to collect a debt. Thank you.

I just got a similar voice mail from them. To go on line or call for a statement of resolution. It's super important to get this resolved because it has been outstanding for too long and this is the last attempt to recover a debt. It came from Colorado Springs, CO 1-719-247-9668. No company name or any other information. To call the number for the listed link or go to asgrecover.com. I have no outstanding debts or bills. So I am not going to call them back and the review online states possibly a scam.

  3. T H

I was contacted regarding a pay day loan that needs repaid. I noticed that the banking information is not my bank and I have not taken out a pay day loan with anyone. When I confronted ASG about it, they said it was several years old and couldn't provide me with any information of the pay day loan. They then bombarded me with the same question via email, phone and text of when I was repaying the debt.

  4. Tim Ulman

Ditto to the other posts. This is definitely a scam. They prey on the fear and ignorance of folks that simply don't know any better. Creditors can only go back seven years. Even the IRS only goes back seven years! Any debts that you may or may not owe must come in writing. They must disclose ALL pertinent information as to the source of the debt, IE the original creditor, the original amount owed, the original account number, etc. Even if they were a legitimate debt collector it is most likely that they bought the debt from the original creditor for pennies on the dollar. Anything that they recover above that amount is where their profit lies. The phone reps make a commission on anything they can collect on. Given that this crew is just another scammer, they have not even bought your alleged debt. In many cases there never was an uncollected debt. They will con and intimidate gullible folks into sending them money, giving out personal banking information, and threatening to ruin their credit scores. There are endless ways to gather information on all of us. Welcome to the information age. For $19.99 I can find out where you get your dry cleaning done, your gym membership[s], etc., etc., etc. Even if you actually do owe a debt to a creditor or lender, by the time these parasites take possession of the debt your credit rating has already been affected. They can't kill you twice. "If it ain't in writing, it ain't real" Even if it is in writing, it still may be a scam. If you're at this website reading this, you're one of the lucky ones that suspected something was amiss.

"Hey, this is tammy with A S. G. This is not the first time we've tried to call, and it certainly won't be the last until we can get something figured out here. I uh did want to make you aware that the extra 10% savings applied to your uh payoff online is temporary. So I urge you to lock in the settlement on your account. Now, even if you don't have the funds to settle it, you can set up a partial payment plan, or you can schedule your settlement for a later date when you are able to pay it. As of now, no, 10 99 C tax form has been issued on this account. So please take care of it before further action is required. We do also report to the Credit Bureaus and all applicable account. So again, I urge you to take this seriously and take advantage of this offer. Our website address is www dot A S G recovers dot com. That is A S G recovers dot com. I am legally required to inform you this is an attempt to collect a debt. Thank you." This is the 5th time asg has harassed me. Every time they call it’s from a new state and a new phone number. I always let unknown calls go to voicemail. They’ve never called me by my name or said who the debt is owed to. A 1099c form, from the IRS is issued when a debt collector gives up. If you borrowed $10,000 personal loan and only paid back $5,000, the IRS sez you have to declare the 10,000 as income. I’ve never taken a cash personal loan.
