Is armslist.com Legit?

I think this trust pilot review platform is full of shit and pure propaganda for the purposes of bad people who want to control things. As soon as I searched armslist this review platform immediately came up even before the website. We are not all stupid

Armslist works hard to sell guns. When they were a free site, they were very customer service focused. When customers had to pay for the service, Armslist lost their customer focus. Their 1.7 out of 5 rating screams there is something wrong. Non members cannot see ads posted by private sellers. Private sellers are losing thousands of potential buyers. Non members can only see ads from gun shops, not private ads. PRIVATE SELLERS BE AWARE YOUR ADS ARE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.

The concept is great but you won't find a decently priced firearm on the site. Majority of listings are from private sellers who have sentimental value on their firearms. Basically you can expect to pay new gun prices or more for a used firearm. Only go to armslist if it's your only option to find a must have firearm.

I had searched Arms list for several years and bought 3 items over the years but the last two years the scammers have gotten so bad. About a month ago a person I had contacted over a year ago about a gun asked if I was still interested said yes what FFL he claimed he does it himself I said only deal shipped through FFL big surprise ghosted. The whole sight is just disgusting and slimy witch is ashame when it started it was good site now it deservers a Big Swirly.

It used to be good, I sold and bought handguns using the site. Always enjoyed reading the posts, comparing pricing.Now, logging in wasn't working anymore, password recovery wasn't working anymore so I contacted Armslist and they stated " In order to read private posts and see pricing you have to pay the premium account fee of $6.99/month. This is unbelievable and I no longer use this crap, I'd rather go to a gun show now and or even purchase at my local range..bye bye Armslist, you are going bancrupt now.

SCAM - Took my money for almost a year. Them when I attempted to list some of my old parts and accessories I would be shut off from posting every Friday just before quitting time or logging in. I spent about $80 for upgraded listings and received nothing but aggravation. Continuously got VM and almost impossible to get in contact with anyone in customer service. When I was able to talk to someone they always had a bad attitude.

Hey everyone check out Colorado gun trader it is free for seller and buyer unlike arm list. I will no longer use the arm list anymore. If anyone is having trouble with their account on wanting to cancel but can't because of the shady armslist, people just go to your bank to get payments canceled after that they can no longer charge your account. Let the bank know this is fraud over time Armlist will get shut down.

Had a good experience with them years ago but now its horrible. They charge for listings and when something goes wrong they have ZERO customer service. I've had an unexplained problem with my listing and have emailed several times with zero replies and it seems they have no phone number to call them. They completely ignore their customer.

How can Armslist improve? Answer; Readapt to customer support or simply not allow private listings. They are no longer a reputable business. If you do sign on and pay the $7.00 a month and then list a firearm or anything, you can expect that john Q public will not likely even see your ad. I searched for my ad in a general search, and I couldn't find my ad anywhere. But, I immediately noticed that 4 or 5 pawn shops posted the same firearm as mine within a matter of hours. So unless you pay the big promotional bucks, you will disappear from the format. Harry Enfield stated: "I've got two words for it, Poop". That's just one word, what's the second? "Poop".

Run by a bunch of greedy, complete morons.Cannot see description, cannot see pricing without paying for their totally overpriced membership? These guys are truly complete morons. This last step in their nonsense "business" approach was just the last thing that I needed to never use them.

Armslist has taken a downward spiral and is now worthless to me. The $7 per month subscription fee is pretty useless since it appears most of the ads are from commercial entities anyway. Blurring private party information just turns me off. I won’t use it any more.

I signed up for a one month subscription, received an email saying my account was created, checked my back account and ARMSLIST did debit the fee... BUT can't log in. I tried the Password reset which tells me that there is no email found (forget the exact message) and tried replying to their email with no response. Now I have to contact my back to try to suspend the debit and make sure they don't try another debit. Looks like a good site but their tech/customer support is non existent.

This once free site now provides an inferior service that charges every step of the way. What person to person private online marketplace charges not only the sellers but the buyers as well? I had a tough enough time finding a buyer when it was free, now it’s impossible because no buyer is dumb enough to pay even to view a listing, ask a question, make an offer, or buy an item. Scammers are worse than ever and the user interface is a joke. I also refuse to to pay a service fee to look at terrible ads that take up most of the page. What a terrible website…

I only gave one star because I can't put zero stars. I paid for an account, they never posted my adds, they do not state anywhere that they are reccuring draft deposits but they continue to charge my account every month with no way to contact them except by email which they refuse to respond to despite my many attempts. They provide no way at all to cancel an account or reach them. So I had to go to my bank and block them from charging my account which cost me another $15.They talk about protecting freedoms & liberties while they are stealing from people. Armslist is a bunch of dishonest scam artists & I would not recommend that anyone do business with them. Let's put them out of business by boycotting their fraudulent services.

I was searching local for ads. There were 22 items listed and most needed login for pricing. After I purchased membership there was only 1 listing in my area. Site isn't truthful with available firearms. I cancelled my subscription the same day. If you don't cancel it's charged monthly to your CC.

Armlist.com is a fraud firearms website. This group runs many fake websites looking to steal ur Creditcard info and money. U can’t buy guns and just ship them directly, it’s illegal. Any sight that does not ship gun dealer to gun dealer can not be trusted.

This site is being used to gather information on gun owners. Be aware, do not sign up on this platform, they do not delete account information. There is no way to cancel or delete your account once you create it.

They used to be free and had ads all over the place which is fine but now they charge you and theres ads all over the place. I tried to cancel my auto renew subscription and now theres no place in the menu to do that and that to me is pretty weaselly. They might respond saying where ti did it easily but I already checked all over their site so dont fall for that one. I don't think it's worth all the ads and the fee since alot of people dont use armslist anymore for those same reasons but I tell you what it's a hell of alot better than trying to deal with god damn gunbroker they have all these requirements that dont work and they bombard you with emails as if a maniac was sending them constantly and you literally have to threaten them to get them to stop anyway I havent been able to sell anything on armslist because nobody is on there.

I just saw a negative review of an Armslist ad that I purchased the gun posted in Las Vegas in 2020. I purchased an antique modified 22 revolver used as a prop at Spahn Movie Ranch. I was one of only 3 people that responded. Mr Libby was the son of the journalist that purchased props from George Spahn and Frank Retz. He had photos and documents from May 1970. Someone said it was overpriced....hardly. Young people are too broke and lazy to check history.

Its full of scams. The same person makes the same format of the same listing for 50 different guns and its all lame scams that seem to be run by children or foreigners. They don’t understand the pricing or purchase process. Its just clear from simply looking at the listings that they are scams and they don’t remove them. They are reported and they don’t remove them. People make listings just to warn others of the obvious scams they won’t take down. I just unsubscribed because I looked at three scams and couldn’t find any legitimate guns. Furthermore its $6 and you still have look at a million gross stupid low budget ads for scams and click bait. These people would be a good target for a lawsuit or criminal investigation. Someone shut them down. Its a bevy of theives!
