Is architecturaldepot.com Legit?

When I call their customer service line, they were always very friendly, super helpful even when I mistakenly place an order they cancel and replace with the product I need. Great service, great quality products and also delivered even few days before the promised day.

When I had an issue with incorrect parts in a several railing kits that I ordered from them I got next to zero customer service in trying to get the correct parts to complete my deck. I spoke to three people there, Lakan, Cassandra, and Priscilla. Lakan tried, but sent me the wrong parts, even though I sent them a picture of the parts from the rail kit to make sure they understood what it was that I needed. Cassandra and Priscilla are supposed to be supervisors and neither one did anything to rectify the issue. Eventually, they just stopped responding to my calls and emails all together. I eventually reached out to the manufacturer directly and they sent me the right parts immediately.

First they answered the phone promptly and were very knowledgeable about their products. Best selection of corbels anywhere! They were helpful with my order and very nice to deal with. Accurate about the delivery date too. My corbels arrived well packaged. Exactly what I ordered. I found the web site easy to navigate and the 360 feature was perfect for seeing the the designs from all angles.

I had a large order, and Delivery was so fast, and was accurate. Product is exactly what I expected. Definitely will order from them again.

The company jumped to make me happy when I discovered a little too much variation on the rough sawn natural wood boards. The moved me to the head of the production line and gave me a perfect product and a perfect experience!

I made an purchase on Dec. 6th, received an email that the product shipped on Dec. 9th. They only created a label. 3 phone calls & an email later, they created a replacement order on Dec 17th., I received another email stating the product had shipped. It's mid day on Dec 20 and only a label has been created. This company could care less about the customer, they grab your money & lie to you.

I was able to talk with customer service who helped me with my order and answered all of my questions regarding their product. The faux beams we ordered were better than we anticipated. The shipping was excellent and the beams came packaged securely with no damage. We absolutely love them. Our contractor that installed them was also amazed at how natural they looked. Makes for a stunning finish to our great room!

Ordered shutters from ArchitecturalDepot.com. Great price and everything arrived in perfect shape, no scratches or flaws and easy to install. Lots of color choices so you can make your visions come to life. Customer Service was exceptional, prompt and easy. I would highly recommend.

I was able to order PVC planking in the exact width and thickness I needed. Shipped promptly so my handyman could make some repairs/upgrades to an exterior bannister base prior to having the house repainted.Have also ordered custom exterior shutters previously. Only place I could get custom sized shutters for a reasonable cost! Have to keep the HOA off the case!

Large selection, excellent quality, great customer service and free shipping. My Bermuda shutter is well constructed and it was shipped in an indestructible crate. It literally transformed my little cottage. I will be ordering more. Highly recommend these folks. Just do your homework. Custom shutters are non refundable, which is only right. Read the conditions on the website and measure correctly. You can’t blame them for your mistakes.

I needed shutters to replace the aging and damaged ones at our home here in Winter Springs. I looked at multiple websites, but only AD.com had the breadth and depth of different shutter types, materials, and sizes that would perfectly complement my needs. They arrived WAY SOONER than I thought they'd told me. NO WORRIES whatsoever in working with these folks!! THey're NOT inexpensive, but the quality of their product is outstanding!

***READ THE FINE PRINT "DELIVERY"***This company does NOT provide a true delivery service for their millwork goods. Instead, they are hiring common carriers to line haul your goods only to your curb w/o a lift gate or the equipment needed to unload. Those line-haul carriers will not deliver the product. They will instead expect you to unload their truck and deliver your own goods. Expect no reasonable delivery window and then when product does actually show up to then become your own delivery personnel/trucker. All of this despite paying high freight fees.

The window arrived without a hitch, just in time for installation in our shower. We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality - it is a transom style window with locking mechanism and crank handle to open. Sometime projects don’t go to plan - We were adding a door surround to our exterior upgrades, and ournew storm door came with an unexpected 1” flange on the outside. We had to order a new top for our surround that was 2” longer, and had to do it fast. These guys had it to us a day early!

Very nice crosshead for big exterior window. My old one rotted out from gutter splash. Lots of bevels, insets, etc. I don't have the tools or the time for that. Looked up crossheads, found AD, arrived fast. Some adhesive on the back, few finish nails, splash of stain, done.

It was an awesome experience. I found this company online. They made it super easy to find the styles and colors I was looking for. They offer a nice sample option so we could easily confirm the product and color were what we needed. Then when we ordered the beams, the online process was quite easy. The beams arrived in the designated time frame, and they were packaged well and had no damage at all.

Easy install after some research and a call with tech support. There are no instructions to download from the web site for this product so as a first-timer replacing support posts (which came with instructions) I was hesitant. I didn't buy the installation kit sold there for that reason but Lowe's had the hardware, proper paint type, and adhesive sealant for extruded PVC required.

“Great product, needs to improve customer service”

I ordered and received my Moulding which is exactly what I needed. It's perfect. Exactly what I wanted, at a great price. But since receiving my order, i replied to two, (three counting this one) one very recently, emails asking for recommendations for installing the moulding. And I haven't heard back from you on that score. Is there a pdf or video or something available on your website regarding installing the moulding? As a DIY'er It would be so helpful to have some guidance.

“Sturdy, Inexpensive, Quality Shutters!”

I ordered all new shutters for our mobile home after Hurricane Irma. These lovely replacements were so much better than the originals and at a lot lower cost! Love the pattern and they were so easy to paint! Am 100% satisfied with this purchase and will be back parts as we replace/renovate. Was very impressed with the FAST shipment and email updates, and loved ArchitecturalDepot's free shipping option. Especially since local dealers wanted to charge me $50 to deliver, that, on top of overblown prices for low end shutters! Am so happy I did a web search and found this company!

“Good product--terrible customer support and satisfaction...”

Five items came damaged. The company said it was during transit. Who knows. They will not send replacements because there is a 72 hour window of inspection--which they don't tell you about until you go to the support and help page. So I opened my packages a couple days after that and they refuse to stand by their product. They had me send photos, which I did and then said too bad. JUST BEWARE Tip for consumers:Product good. “Outstanding products”

These folks make very high quality materials - easily the best that we found after considerable research. They are not only very well made and deliver serious value for the dollar, but they are packed professionally and should arrive is perfect shape. Their sales staff are entirely competent and knowledgeable and will stay with you to the end. Communications and quality is no problem. Their shipping department needs to have some staff meetings, but i forgive them that rough spot, because their workmanship and quality more than make up for it.

Order a basement column cover and it worked perfectly. The materials were easy to work with and fit together precisely. Once it was installed and painted it converted an eyesore into a natural part of the room that looks classy. Shipment came quickly via FedEx with no problems.

“20% restocking and do NOT BUDGE from it”

Arrived quickly and good quality but forget returns. They charge a 20% re-stocking fee and that is AFTER they "check with the warehouse" to be able to return the item. I explained that I was all packed up to ship back the items and that one of them was scratched so could they waive the 20% re-stocking. They said "send a picture and we'll ask the warehouse". Unbelievable.

I ordered aluminum deck railing from Architectural Depot which was by far the cheapest place I could find the brand I was looking for. It took 4-6 weeks to get, which was fine. It arrived on a large pallet, looked to be packed well, no visible damage. When I was ready to install after a few weeks, I found 1 damaged item that looks like it was compressed by the strap on the pallet. I reached out to the customer service at Architectural Depot asking for a replacement, but since it was past the 72 hours from delivery, they refused. I needed to file a claim with the delivery carrier within that 72 hour window. I'm not sure who packs their products, but I would assume the carrier just picks it up. ArchitecturalDepot refused to replace the damaged railing that they most likely caused and I received, which was only around 3% of the total order cost. Their expectation was for me to open dozens of boxes and inspect 100s of items for damage within the 72 hours. I attempted to reach them twice through their online chat feature, received no response over 3 weeks. Finally called them and they finally respond to my inquiry to deny my request. “Extended delivery time...”

Extended delivery time...Order initially was short shipped, then two items were delivered damaged. Although damage probably shippers fault took extended parried of time to receive replacements. Prompt response, Fair prices, but don't recommend if you need product asap.

“Missing parts and poor customer service”

I ordered two columns and paid more to have them shipped than the columns cost. My builder couldn't put them up in October when they arrived. When we opened the columns in the spring they were missing pieces and I tried calling so many times to figure this out. It was super hard to actually get a person. They had me leave messages that weren't returned, they had me fill out a form online that they said they don't have record of and now that its more than 72 hours later than delivery they won't refund my money for the missing items or replace anything.
