Is aquarterof.co.uk Legit?

Someone calling themselves Ben is using their aquarterof business email address to scam people on other sites, I've reported this to aquarterof but they don't seem interested, so presuming they support their employees scamming others in work time

placed an order late Wednesday afternoon , following the £30 order gets free next day delivery as I was home on the Friday and the sweets were for young and old at our street party for the Coronation.The company sent an email.on Thursday saying 'shipped' but FedEx did not actually get it until 3.45 on Friday afternoon.Advertised as fast service, in reality... a snails pace.Ignore the promises on the website and maybe go elsewhere.

Extremely poor customer service. Item I recieved was not as described and shown in pictures. Was pointed to fine print that says they reserve the right to send other sweets in replacement. Very disappointed. Will not buy again.

I would rate 0 stars if I could!Bucket of sweets had the wrong label on: correct sweets- wrong labels, ingredients & best before date. Understand that mistakes can be made, rang customer services for a replacement. I explained that my daughter has a severe anaphylaxis causing allergy & this concerned me as I don’t know if it’s a re-used bucket, the correct ingredients, or correct BBE date.She stated that they had new staff, no apology, dismissive, told me Id have to return it if I wanted a refund. I refused this but a refund was eventually agreed to. Completely put me off & I now have to bin them.Ordered four other packs of sweets, one has a very short best before (January 2024) was told that this is fine! The others are March 2024/April 2024, June 2025. One of the other bags looks mucky, very off putting. I may have to bin it all.I had a similar problem last year when the wrong items were delivered & I had a customer service agent tell me that I had to pay postage for the correct items- I thought that was an isolated incident, sadly not! I have ordered from you for many years but I wont be ordering from you again.

It's a shame they use multipack bars that are available from Tesco or the such which are not for resale use and is clearly stated on the individual bars in the box. Why not used genuine supply for resale bars? Otherwise it tastes like chocolate.

Searched for the 'best lemon sherbets'. Came up with this outfit. Bought some. Expensive with postage. Arrived. Tasted. Disappointed. Lot of broken/crumbly sweets. The 'fizz' centre quite weak and syrupy. Rating: Average compared to the many I have tried - still searching for the real deal.

The strawberry and cream had no taste at all the acid drops were to sour the lemenade sweets were to hard also had no taste the cherry cola bottles were ok and the apple and custard were also ok none off the sweets were worth the money and i couldnt recomend them to any body

My Wife purchased over £30.00 worth of sweets from them as a welcome home gift for me after several weeks in hospital, amongst them were %00g of buttermints and 500G of mint humbugs, The buttermints are the same shape, the same taste and the same soft chewy centres as the Mint humbugs, if it tastes like a mint humbug, looks like a mint humbug then guess what? They are certainly not Buttermints, Buttermints don't have stripes and chewy centres, Humbugs do. My wife contacted them and pointed this out and they were not the slightest bit interested, fobbing her off with a statement that they use the same mold for the Buttermints, totally ignoring the fact they are striped and brown with chewy centers, perhaps they need to look up a recipe for Buttermints and while they are at it, do a course on how to talk to customers so they don't just do one order and never come back!R G Seymour

I have been shopping here for years now. Always a great selection and they are never out of stock!My only gripe is that the quality of some of the sweets aren't always what I expect (pint pots and fizzy cola bottles in particular) but on the whole can't complain.

I've used AQO for over a decade now, and just received my latest order. It arrived at a great time, I had a terrible day and it really lifted my spirits.I always order milk bottles, by far my favourite sweet and they are a real treat.My only criticism is that you stopped stocking Barrats Milk Teeth. I loved those big jars, too.

Needed to fill my sweet jar with alphabet sweets & came across this place online. Saw that it was fairly local so wanted to give them a try by ordering online (instead of turning to Amazon as always). Ordered 2 packs & they arrived a couple of days later, safely packaged in a box with stuffing which was nice. In love with the quirky packaging & most definitely satisfied with the sweets inside - will defo be ordering from here again!

Ordered a large personalised jar of handmade sweets for my son, along with many other sweets that I remembered from my childhood. All arrived in good time , and the ones we have tasted so far have been delicious. Also loved the customer service, particularly a lady called Louise who took the trouble to answer an email regarding a sweet I used to love as a child. She enclosed a trial packet in my order of something similar, which, while not quite the same , was a lovely touch. Also love the quirky emails from the founder of the company, enclosing lots of memory provoking literature and pictures of not only sweets, but old toys and pop a point pencils, First digital watches etc. Also received a copy of the first whizzer and chips comic. Amazing.

I've placed a few orders during lockdowns for elderly relatives who can't be without their usual sweets. This company provides the best value for what we wanted.My order has always been dispatched extremely quickly and FedEx delivery has been very efficient. A great experience all round.

I purchased some sweets for my children and for grandparents to be able to have as a treat during isolation.Delivery was prompt, grandparents and children were pleased with sweets.

I have used A Quarter Of only 4 times since 2006 ish, each time a joy. The latest order was yesterday afternoon and I was delighted and somewhat surprised to answer the door to Fedex at 8.30 this morning! That is a terrific effort given that we are still in lockdown. More importantly of course, I am now in possesion of Mums favourite sweets. All good from me and a well deserved 5*

I have used A Quarter Of several times now and have never had an issue with them. Great selection, good prices and phenomenal customer service. They always respond to emails quickly. On one occasion, an item I had ordered went out of stock after ordering, I had an email from them to advise me before my order shipped and they refunded me straight away. Can’t fault them at all, highly recommend them to anyone.
