Is apfelbauminc.com Legit?

Bought a collection of 31 volumes of Scott Internationals. Nice bonus in the internationals were a complete set of Vintage Reproduction pages in excellent condition which I will use in my collection. Only issue I have is the listing stated "perhaps 100,000" stamps. I am an accountant so I inventory everything unfortunately. The stamp count was just under 60,000. Quite a bit of a difference.

Wonderful choice and great prices...for a collector.... But...when you turn 80ish and its time to think of other things.... I did not buy as an investment. In the last 10 years I have spent $15,000 with them. Also I have spent about that much with other dealers. With the travails of old age I hoped for a small return. it has been my experience after looking at your collections throughout each day that they are priced much too high to begin with.I find myself waiting until your 70 or 60 percent off offers to make any bids. even then some lots are too expensive. Missy has been a longtime phenomenal help in placing my orders. your free deliveries are also key to my purchases.

I've been fortunate to find collections that improve my albums. I primarily buy collections as I feel it's cost effective over trying to buy single stamps. Eventually I'll have to change but it sure is satisfying now.

I finally found a collection rounding off my holdings of the GDR before 1980 - delighted with the large album; she cans directed me properly. One observation: the collection if MNH in individual glassine (?) pockets = good. The downside is that these pockets do not hold stamps very securely, they‘re open on the bottom + top, and stamps do (and did0 slip out

Speedy delivery, good value for the money. Easy to order - except somehow I couldn't get the appropriate discount, a quick call to Missy quickly solved that problem as well. Been dealing with them for 50+ years and virtually always had good advice and got notch goods and service!

Disappointed in quality of material. Lots of duplication and very little variety. Should pay better attention to how you describe things on your website. Packaging of material was horrible. The box was ripped when it arrived from UPS. In reading earlier posted reviews, it sounds like you were working on providing better descriptions. Not. The transaction itself went smoothly. I had been watching the material for a week or so. I bought. Then a larger discount was offered the next day. Oh well.

I Purchased and promptly received a massive world-wide collection in 11 large cartons. Cursory examination indicates this massive collection is as it was advertised. While I already have a very large collection, I am already finding many stamps of value. While I have only opened up a few cartons, from what I see, I am pleased with my purchase.

I bought one of the 80% off clearance lots, to upgrade items in my collection. Photos made it easy to judge if this one-country lot might be worthwhile. It arrived promptly, well packaged. With any of these lots, there might (or might not) be hidden gems. Upon first looking, the price I paid seemed fair. A closer look revealed a nice surprise that nobody had noticed in the photos. It would be an improvement to have a Newly Listed sort-by category, especially for this group of 80% off sales when new lots are added every day.

I have been dealing with Apfelbaum for many years and have never been disappointed. They definitely put the customer first and always make, even the smallest problem, go away without difficulty. Prices are always fantastic, and shipping could not be any better. They are the best!
