anz.co.nz Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives anz.co.nz one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 86.9. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 86.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to anz.co.nz's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning anz.co.nz, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between anz.co.nz and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of anz.co.nz. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of anz.co.nz, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. anz.co.nz is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether anz.co.nz has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

ANZ very professional and prompt. My senior personal banker Trisha Blair exceeded my expectations. Thank you. Keep up the great work.
Quite possibly the most unhelpful customer service ever! I went in to open my daughter bank account. Teller Lindsay I think was so rude , told me to go away my daughter (14) must be with me, I needed proof of address and passport and appointment, so I did all of the above , came back and the same lady persisted to tell me I didn’t have a appointment and it takes a minimum of 3 weeks to get another appointment I’m incredibly busy and all I needed was another bank account, she was literally smirking like she was happy to tell me she wasn’t going to help , I have been with and for 20yrs , I will be leaving
sent bank mail online banking asking for floating mortgage ratethey replied with a lot of security rubbishI replied back saying I only want your floating rate suggesting another more helpful person answer and they blocked my internet banking what a terrible bank with worse staff shame on you
ANZ customer service does no where close to what it meant to . Very unprofessional . It shouldn’t be operating . I have ruined my holidays just trying to call the bank
Beware of predatory banking practices! Broke fixed rates over the years with anz and understand they need to recoup losses when the interest rate has reduced. They charged me break fees on a 1% loan when I repaid my mortgage as I was leaving the bank. And refused to raise a complaint until I contacted the ombudsman. Unfair and predatory behaviour. Bank elsewhere.
Property investors beware. ANZ is undermining you by lobbying for the dreaded capital gains tax on RNZ today. Take your mortgages to a bank that does not work against your interests.
Fraud bank. Never go to that bank if you wanna save your hard working money
Not impressed with ANZ's chief executive Antonia Watson weighing in on capital gains tax. She is sitting on a fat salary making politically charged comments whilst the bank is siphoning off people hard earned income in fees.
I have been customer with ANZ for last 3 years. There services has been worsening for last 1-2 years, longer waiting times on call, sometimes been pushed around on call to reach correct person. After few emails to feedback about experience, they try to find problem with the customer rather than admitting their mistake.
From ANZ: We've received a response from you that we're unable to process. Please contact ANZ on 0800 728 750 or +64 9 522 3010.Confusing message that I thought meant that an online booking I made was not accepted , apparently not
Terrible online phone service, with a computer that tells you what to say. Which would be helpful if it didn't interrupt me every 3 second while.im trying to explain the problem. Also not enough specific options over the phone.Would likely take a whole day to sort out your problems.
No matter the situation this bank doesn't want to help. I have my wages through ANZ, my kiwisaver and as a vero customer my car insurance and they have audacity to treat me like some homeless person. Iv been a customer since 2018, I think I'm at my limit and I'll be concidering a move to a bank that meets my needs.
I just went to bank ample of times to open new bank account but every time I came back with the new document demand. I don't know why they cant tell me in one time that what documents are required. I am an international student and it is really frustrated and hard for me. Because of this I had to let off my one job just because I don't have the bank account. I don't know what kind of pathetic services ANZ is providing to international students. I came To ANZ just because of the positive experience but MY EXPERIENCE WITH ANZ BANK IS WORSTTTT
My phone conversation with a Home loan consultant discussing advice and opinions regarding buying out property was most beneficial. I had more clarification as per discussion on certain questions.
Anz smart ATM needs to changed to Anz Useless ATM. While depositing, cash got stuck due to machine fault. So no money deposited in my wife’s account & informed that will take 20 working days to resolve the dispute. Totally disgusting
Its very hard to get approve for a Loan as its been 4x we tried to get a loan but always dissapproved and ended up on a finance company and Creditcard which is high interest rate, its been my bank for 11years now few of my friends told us to switch to other bank but regretfully didnt do it...but now im done
Today I went to open a savings account at the ANZ ST Luke branch. The heartiest welcome from the Manager & Officer Bank is amazing. They directed me to Ms. Rohini to complete my banking needs immediately. She is a wonderful, smiley lady, and given me superb service with banking knowledge for products for debit cards & online banking facilities. Really appreciate the service they served.
ANZ has stopped sending an advice email / notification that a new credit card statement is available. The bank's advice is to look at your online account close to the "normal" statement closing date. Sure, that's easy enough to do. But the question remains - why did the bank discontinue a useful piece of good customer service, which BNZ and Kiwibank still provide???
I would like to say a massive thanks to Kartika Harish at the newly refurbished ANZ bank at the St Lukes Westfield Mall. I had some very painful transactions that needed to be done in the wake of my mother's passing. There was much to be done and it was very stressful, but Kartika helped shoulder that burden by getting the job done as effortlessly as she could. Her knowledge on how these things work was a relief and I am grateful to have had her on my side.
These incompetent twits wanted a registered valuation done before transferring security from one property to another, even though the land alone was worth 4+ times the loan amount. Don't waste your time with them, their service is rubbish, and judging by their rating its an ongoing problem. The only thing that might make them improve is if it costs them money.

“Big corporate bureaucracy”
I was a customer of National Bank, a local bank in New Zealand, that was purchased by ANZ Bank. I had a mortgage and credit card with National Bank. I still have the mortgage with the bank, now for 12 years, but when my credit card expired and I asked for a new one, ANZ claimed I never had had a card with them or National. When I applied for a new card, they said that my income, even though very substantial, was from outside the country, and that was not counted in their "policies". Even though I have never missed a payment in 12 years on my mortgage, or on my credit card, they felt I could not be trusted, because I'm one of the half a million New Zealanders living outside the country. Corporation comes before customers with this outfit.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
