Customer Service AWFUL - Quality of kits good.The kits are find as long as they come in perfect, nothing is wrong, you want to keep them all, and you don't have to call them ever. They have the worst customer service and etiquette. The products and crafts themselves... I have done a lot and the kits themselves are good. I have decided to stop because I am so unhappy with their customer service and as a business owner don't think they deserve my money or gift memberships I have purchased any longer.Whats worse, is I really really wanted to love this company. I am so disappointed in them. It's the perfect gift and family bonding crafts. I gave them a number of chances to make one thing right, fix another item and when I called to cancel one club and switch to another they just didn't want to discuss my concerns or what can be done to fix this at all. I am so bummed!

First of all I have been a long time knitter and I feel it is deceiving to say this is advance novice..it is the very least intermediate. The kits are very over priced.. I just wanted the pattern but the only way to get it was to join the knit pattern club. The kit comes with two skeins of acrylic yarn ,average price on line $6per skein and a pamphlet with instructions . For that you pay $27 a month plus tax. The final cost is $360 The only benefit of the club is the very thorough video instructions.. The Aphgan took me over 9 months to complete and I worked on it pretty consistently.. it is beautiful but would probably be nicer with a better yarn. Also kit delivery was often delayed.

The only reason i give this company 2 stars is because I really like their products. However, I've had nothing but problems with billing, customer service and their site online. No way will I ever order something from them again.

Ive had problems since day 1. All of 2024 Non existent customer service.They take my money out of my bank TWO WEEKS before they ship kit.NON EXISTENT tracking every month.If it wasn't for the fact that this is a birthday present for my granddaughter and she enjoys it, I'd cancel.I won't ever do business with them again.

BEWARE Kit Buyers!If I could rate 0 stars, I would.This is the one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with customer service and management response.The Holiday Kit Club, specifically the Pumpkin Doorstop, was my first kit with Annie's. I was excited for the surprise holiday themed projects and couldn't wait for my first kit to arrive in the mail. The online instruction video was very helpful, especially since this pattern utilized the method of "3 strands held together" and this technique was new for me.The kits are advertised to come with enough materials needed to complete a project, however this kit does not include the fiber filling and rice/beans/pebbles referenced in the pattern to stuff the pumpkin. This was a minor detail I overlooked and chalked it up to an assumption on my part thinking that I did not read what to expect.What I did expect was enough yarn to complete the project, though. This kit comes with one 3 ounce skein of Clover yarn and four 1.76 ounce skeins of Spice yarn. Following the directions explicitly and checking my gauge measurements with the pattern (9 rows = 4 inches), I ran out of Spice yarn halfway through my 2nd to last row. In addition to completing the last row and a half, I still need to close the pumpkin and sew everything together with the Spice yarn.Knowing this was a new Kit Club for Annie's, I figured this was a simple oversight and that I could get one more skein of Spice yarn sent to my house. I sent an email on 09/04/2024 through the website to request more yarn and received the following reply:"Good Afternoon,Thank you for your email. Each kit includes instructions, and all the specialty materials needed to create a seasonal project. If you need additional material, please visit www.anniescatalog for more information."My immediate thought was that my email was not properly read. My second thought was this contains false information this kit does not include "all the specialty materials needed to create a seasonal project" since there was nothing to fill inside the pumpkin.I sent another email and also called the 800 number on 09/05/2024 and was told someone would get back in touch with me; they did not. I called again on 09/07/2024 and was told someone would get back in touch with me; they did not. I called again on 09/10/2024 and was told someone would get back in touch with me; they did not. Finally, I called again on 09/12/2024 and was told someone would get back in touch me and finally they did (thank you Jamie!). The response was extremely disappointing. I don't have a copy of the message, but it basically reiterated that I was provided enough yarn to complete the project and should have had half a skein of yarn remaining once the project was finished. I was told once again that if I need more yarn, I can purchase it from the website.I looked up the cost of the yarn - it's $2.99. I am SHOCKED that this is the response over a $3 skein of yarn. Yes, I could easily purchase it (and I will since I want to at least complete this project), but for a kit club that's nearly $40/month, this response should have been different.I have requested to terminate my two memberships (I had just started an afghan block of the month kit) and will probably never download any more Annie's patterns in the future.I'm extremely disappointed and beyond frustrated with customer care provided at Annie's. I'm also certain there are others who have purchased this same holiday kit and will not have enough yarn to complete the project; I feel for them.

I am assuming Annie's Kit Club is going Bankrupt. Since buying the Irish Fields Aran Kit Club in May, after 9 months, she has only shipped 5 kits. No explanation, no willingness to respond to notes to her Customer Service. And she is unwilling to just sell the pattern so the Afghan can be completed with other yarn. I noticed on-line that Annie's is mistreating other customers. I assume she is going Bankrupt. Either that or she is a terrible business woman! So Sad!

I love the variety of different stitches in the 2 kit subscriptions that I get. I am currently working on the Irish Fields Gansey crochet afghan. My 2nd subscription is for the crochet Mandala Afghan. I "cancelled" the Mandala subscription for the time being because working 2 afghans was too much for me. When I want to, I am able to reactivate the Mandala subscription, at present, it has been 6 months since I "cancelled" it. I really appreciate the flexibility I get with Annie's. Having the yarn, written instructions, as well as the video instructions was key to my deciding to join. It is a wee bit expensive, but I buy items worth that much monthly that I end up eating or drinking. Lol Overall I am thrilled and quite happy to receive my kit every 4 weeks.

Have not bought nor will I buy of such " Kits ". One would have to be or is out of their frigging mind to spend such money on a kit to make a single crochet square .... we are talking at least $25.00 per square! These " Square " makes are not even original designs because they have been made for years by other people who enjoy the making and sharing of such for nothing. Come on people, this is crazy and a plain rip-off. There are plenty of " FREE " video's on Youtube to follow along with to make any kind of crochet square. Signed up for MONTHLY shipments in May 2023. So far I have only received 2 kits. They should have shipped my 6th kit a few days ago. It has not shipped yet. They have stopped responding to any of my EMails. HORRIBLE customer service. I understand shipping delays but we aren't talking about an engineered product with multiple moving parts we are talking about YARN!!! Whoever does their logistics and Inventory needs to be FIRED. Yarn IS your business, how do you expect to stay in business without the main item you need? Get it together people

Just a heads up to anybody who subscribes to this company. I called 3 months ago to cancel all shipments of annies kits on my account and also cancelled online. However, they disregarded and kept sending me products and debiting my account for the charges and everytime I contacted them they would tell me over the phone they were deleting the account effective today and never offered to return a refund for the charges for the months I should not have been charged for. You would think they would offer a refund for the products they sent that i did not want after I had already cancelled. And I really don't know if they are lying about it and not going to charge me again or not because this is an ongoing thing. I will never buy anything from them again. They charge what they want and keep doing what they want.

I'm working on my 3rd kit I had no problems with the first 2 and absolutely love the finished product. However this 3rd kits I ordered in December my first kit was shipped 1/12 it is now week 5 and I'm still not seeing kits 2 as being shipped. So frustrating. I really hope the rest of this kit will be sent on time so I can finish it on time for a special gift.

Empty promises regarding "monthly" shipments and poor communication regarding delays will turn a project that requires a year to complete into a two year project. Their supply issues likely revolve around overselling their products rather than uncontrollable supply issues. Would NEVER do business again with this company.

If I could give them a zero, I would....they sent me something I did not order, and I returned it.Two months later, no money...15 "contact us" emails ignored...got an idiot on the phone ...She said it was because I had Apt. 808 on my address with them and they said it was unit 808 per the USPS ... how many places in a building can be numbered 808.Gave up trying to get my money back ... they can just keep it and maybe use it to get a call centre where the person speaks English.
