Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

After testing several fraud prevention products online, we could certainly say the winner is a browser extension called Guardio. It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tested and vetted by our Scam Detector team.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  4. Check this: They hide your online searches, which means you will get only organic search results without tracking and follow-up ads. For example, when you search for a flight, and the next time you look at the same search, the prices are higher. With Surfshark, this doesn't happen.

ammunitionstoreonline.com and their parent ammoshopusa.com are complete SCAMS and will literally steal your $$ and then become completely unresponsive. The prices are too good to be true. STAY AWAY

  2. Bruce Agee

Ammunitionstoreonline.com is most assuredly a scam site. Take your money by having you send via personal paypal to friends/family account then they clam up and never reply or answer phone. Definitely do not do any business with this bogus site.

  3. Rex

Confirming. ammunitionstoreonline.com is a scam site. An address search reveals the 14th Street Mercantile store. A huge red flag are the methods of payment. Bitcoin, Zelle, Venmo and "Paypal for friends only". No credit card payment offered. Beware.

  4. Alman

Also confirming that ammunitionstoreonline.com is indeed a fake. A fraudulent site. I have reported them to the Federal Trade Commission for wire fraud.

    • Wire fraud is a type of fraud that involves the use of some form of telecommunications or the internet.
    • This type of crime can make use of any and all forms of electronic media including telephone or fax machine, email or social media, or SMS and text messaging.
    • Wire fraud often involves communications made between state or national borders, and is punishable by both hefty fines and jail sentences.
In their "About Us" section, they say  "it is our goal and our promise to provide the American public access to high-quality ammunition at the lowest possible price with the best customer service they have ever experienced. Not the best service in the industry, the best period." Right. So that is why they don't fulfill orders and then hang up on you when you call. Another phrase from their "About Us" section....."As Ammunition Store Online has grown over the years, we have been able to create numerous jobs for hard-working Americans in our home state of Florida." Florida? But the address on the site is Burlington, CO? ...which is also an "unknown" The phone number is a not a business. The forms don't go anywhere. There is no warehouse. I have also contacted the domain administrator to inform them of the fraud taking place.

  5. Johnny

Guess FTC has better things to do; ammunitionstoreonline.com is still up and offer ammo at too good to be true prices; 500 rounds 6.5 PRC for $630.00 delivered. Best price on legit site is more than $4.00/round. Tip off was no way to pay with Visa on their website online; they ask you to email payment to [email protected]; sent to you by text message from phone No. 303-578-8943. Area code 303 is Colorado; I know that folks keep their phone Nos. and live in completely different places; but this Company is supposed to be out of Florida. When I asked about how to pay to a gmail account and why does the texts come from Colorado phone no. instead of FL they didn't respond. I will also report them to FTC and include Department of Homeland Security as domestic terrorists because both FTC & DHS appear to be impotent under the current administration. I sure hope that one will act in this now leaderless & lawless once great Country.

  6. KODA FLORAL

This website is a scam. I actually own the building at the address listed on the website. I am a flower shop. I do not sell any guns or ammo. I am not affiliated with the website or anything to do with it at all.

  7. Jim

I placed an order and there was no provision to pay on the website. I got an email a few minutes later wanting me to send money to a bitcoin address. Plus they don’t charge for shipping, whenever else charges out the wazoo.
