amigofoods.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives amigofoods.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 68.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 68.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to amigofoods.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning amigofoods.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between amigofoods.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of amigofoods.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of amigofoods.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. amigofoods.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether amigofoods.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether amigofoods.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, amigofoods.com.

“They sent me food that expired almost 2 months before I received it”
My husband opened his snacks I ordered for christmas this morning, and we were surprised to see that the Alfajores I ordered in late November of this year and received shortly after were already expired. In fact, the items they sent us were expired already for almost two full months before I received them. I checked your return policy and saw that I would have had to return them within 10 days of delivery which has obviously passed. I just wanted to reach out to let you know that I am going to be filing a dispute on my purchase and that I am also going to be reporting the company to Food Safety regulations, as it is highly unlawful to sell expired products for profit. This could easily result in a lawsuit for them and as a fellow food service worker, this is unacceptable. Don't order from here. Tip for consumers:They sent me expired food Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“10 days to ship after payment and definitely not good expiration date for perishable products”
I got a Dulce de Leche from Uruguay with 1 month expiration date (photo 1), the chocolate, came in a repacked box with 70 grams less photo 3 (supposed to be 300 gr, the other chocolate some of them shows sign of old and they shipped when they want after pressure. One time shopping, no more. Ugly service and supply of products. Products used:Food, Chocolates, Dulce de Leche, Quince Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Damaged product”
I found Guava Marmalade on their web site and ordered an 8 oz jar. I received it five day later only to find a punctured pouch inside with the contents spilled out the mailing bag. No jar in a secure box with bubble wrap. Just a big ol mess! Tip for consumers:Try to speak to someone and ask questions before you purchase a product. Products used:Marmalade product Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Should not be in Business”
I recently placed an order online. To my surprise they replaced half of the order with different brand products, and those that were not switched were already expired four months ago. This "Amigo" seems to be more an "Enemigo". I advise not using their service due to bad business practices. Products used:Food items. Service Value Shipping Quality
“Expired food”
Bought alfajores and they sent expired ones. Very irresponsible, waste of money. The Dulce de leche is about to expire too. Don't buy from here. I agree with one of the reviewers that said it's expensive, not recommended
“Couldn't believe my luck finding hard to find Peruvian...”
Couldn't believe my luck finding hard to find Peruvian candy at Amigofoods. My orders have shipped quickly and everything arrives perfectly. Have ordered from them at least half a dozen times. Great company
“Bad packing, missing items, outrageous shipping costs.”
Ordered merchandise for a value of $102.00 and two of the items didn't arrived. After notifying them that the two dulce de leches didn't make it, they sent me a plain Manila envelope with only one dulce de leche instead of the two I paid for, with complete disregard to the fact that it was 97 degrees outside. The package was hot to the touch. I'm an hour away from them and they sent a dairy product in Florida weather without any type of insulation! It was 97 degrees that day. When I contacted them about the fact that they only sent one instead of two and that it wasn't edible because it had been in the sun, they simply refunded the money but didn't deduct anything from the outrageous shipping costs. Tip for consumers:Don’t use it. Products used:The ones that arrived in good condition. Service Shipping Quality
“Completely disregard towards Brazilian culture”
I wish I could give a thumbs down because it doesn't deserve even one star. I came across this company by looking up recipes for Brazilian foods I can try to make here in the USA. Came across their blog and it was the worst poorly written piece of trash I have come across the web about Brazilian culture. First we are not Hispanic, we were colonized mainly by Portugal our main language is Brazilian Portuguese and not Spanish. Be aware of sites, blogs, and fb pages not written by people from the country or that have not been in the country ever, or even bother to do research about the country they are blogging about! We are not Hispanic to begin with. One of the worst things I read about Brazil. I mean whoever wrote this garbage never met a Brazilian or been to Brazil EVER! I ended up sending the author a email correcting all it's mistakes and it said address doesn't exist (big surprise, right?!) Brazil got a vest variety of foods, depending on the state or region we have different recipes. The author listed a brand of corneal flour and named it as a recipe instead of the actual dish which is Brazilian cuscuz. Also compares Brazilian cheese rolls as British scones (not even close), calls corneal cake pound cake, and names our foods in Spanish and not even Portuguese much less Brazilian Portuguese. And the blogger literally says that we don't ever eat eggs for breakfast, like it's offensive to do so. Doesn't take much to find good information about Brazil, but after seeing a completely disregard towards Brazilian culture, I can imagine they done the same towards other Central and South American countries. Tip for consumers:Be aware they don't know things about other countries and writes things that are completely disregarding and disrespectful. Products used:None as they don't know anything about my country

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
