Yeah they suck Stay away from them They acted like I was approved for 0% 18 month financing and that my brand new Les Paul Standard would be shipped at 8:30 am and by 4:20 pm I got an email saying I was declined and I've got good credit so much so that GM financial allowed me to buy a new 2024 Colorado but these people bait and switched me acted like I was approved then dropped me and said I wasn't. Will never ever purchase from them now.I will go to Sweetwater or Zzounds for my new Gibson!
Never do business again. Ordered a bass on 9/23 checked in my account and said it was "in process" for 14 days. Called them today and they said the order was cancelled for no availability. No message, no email all this time.

They are showing me as being past due for items I have paid off. I've done a lot of business with AMS over the last few years and have been maintaining a consistently strong credit system for this entire time. I have paid off many items, most of them early, since paying early has no penalties and opens me up for new purchases faster. The problem currently, and this has happened before, is that they "updated their system" and my total debt to them has increased by roughly $300. I looked into the cause, and items that I had paid off months ago are back up on my current order and it shows I am behind between 1-4 months on them. What?! I reached out to customer service and they said "give it 24 to 48 hours".. even though I already waited 12 hours after noticing before I even reached out. Now we're past 72 hours and there is still no change. I still am said to owe more than what I do, and there are all kinds of bright red "past due" notices on my gear for months I paid off. If this was just one time or was fixed in a timely manner, I would not be here advising others about this being a trend. Not sure if I will continue using AMS after this, and I advise caution to anyone who does.
I've been using AMS for 10+ years. Their installment plans put them above any of their competitors and that's why I keep coming back. There's some short-comings in terms of selection, but overall they typically carry what I need and when they do, they get my business. Love what you guys' do and thankful you're still around.

I ordered a jackson Guitar for about 1200 bucks wanted to use 12 payment option. paid down payment . looked later to see if it shipped . my order said cancelled i didn t know what happen I called 800 number I was told I had no previous payment history with them . So when i needed a new Schecter Electric Guitar For $600 I was able to get it and pay it off within 1 year, there was no credit check. I have been a customer of AMS for many years. For the most part I have had good luck with them but the problem is in their website. I cannot go online and make a payment in advance due to their payment section of their web site. I have emailed them and they really do not care if anyone likes it or not. Once I get my bill paid down I dont think I will go back. I can go to zZounds and make a payment with ease, no worries. No such luck at AMS. “Helped me build my credit when I was getting started in life.”

When I first started getting into music as an adult teen I didn't have much cash to throw around. I put my first used electric guitar on layaway and waited 6 months to finally play it. I have received 3 bad basses from AMS the 4th was finally good. All basses over 1400$ 1 didn't even come in original manufacture box and I sent it back same day as it control knob was jacked.
