- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning americanairlines.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between americanairlines.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of americanairlines.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of americanairlines.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. americanairlines.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether americanairlines.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

The most bizarre airline ever. The flight attendant handed me over a frozen hard sandwich during in-flight meal time and when I asked for an alternative, she gave me a hateful and disgusted stare. My god I'm completely baffled. I did not do anything to make her upset cause we never met before the sandwich incident? American airline are your employees all right ? Pay more attention to their mental health otherwise it might affect their work performance.
From the minute we taxied towards the Charlotte airport after touchdown I knew we were in for the usual AA disappointment. Just a complete failure at all touch points with the most epic failure being from the gate agent in Charlotte who suggested that if perhaps I ran a little faster next time I wouldn't have missed my flight. From smelly planes to rude and unhelpful agents throughtout this company, I will do everything in my power to never step foot on this airline again.
American Airlines customer service has got to be the worst. Someone cancelled my flight without my knowledge and when trying to get a flight credit or the ticket reinstated I was told there was nothing they can do. I kept having to chat with them through their messaging service and one guy told me to hold on then I received a thank you have a good day message. I will never fly with this airline ever again. My tax money bailed these ungrateful people out and this is how they repay their customers.
I just hung up with the RUDEST agent who could not clarify a question about a delayed flight and what to do if I missed my connecting flight. She was condescending, did not listen and provided HORRIBLE customer service. Please train your agents to listen and not be RUDE, ( I had been told by a different agent that I would ALWAYS have to pay a change fee regardless of circumstance so I needed to clarify because I was told 2 different things.
DFW to London (round trip):Being a TX resident, I have always supported American Airlines (AA). Clocked many thousand miles with AA over a period of 8 years in TX. This must surely come to an end, AA is so bad, they have gone from bad to worse. We traveled to London on Sep 13 by AA 50 and returned home on Sep 21 on British Airways (BA - AA 6950). The AA flight on a Boeing was cramped and uncomfortable. The dinner was rubbish, so bad, tasteless. The service was mediocre. On the other hand, the BA A380 flight was more comfortable and the food a lot better and the service far superior. My wife and I have decided that, this is it, no more AA. We will only fly AA if all other channels are closed. AA has a lot of work ahead of them.
I was on a 630 flight aa2051 from Philly to San Diego. They straight lied to us about weather and departed 4 hours late. Everybody knows they blew it and had crew issues. What a crock. I was travelling for business at full fare so I have no problem going elsewhere.
I recently had a very disappointing experience flying to Brazil with American Airlines. Despite paying for a specific seat, I was assigned the wrong one with very little space to move, making the long flight extremely uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the food was terrible and certainly not up to standard. The flight was delayed and ultimately canceled, which left us stranded until the next day. The line to get a hotel voucher was outrageously long, so we had no choice but to pay for the hotel ourselves.Plus a trip that was supposed to be 18 hours long end up being 40 hours long, Ridiculous!!The only saving grace was the flight attendants—they were excellent, as they always are, and did their best to make the situation bearable. Unfortunately, their professionalism couldn’t make up for the overall bad experience. Please do yourself a favor and look for another company or buy Business/first class.
First time traveling with American and will be my last! Our plane didn't have any screens, there was a wad of gum on the arm rest in front of me (thought it was cleaned before we boarded), some rude flight attendants, took an unreasonable amount of time to get our luggage and our luggage was damaged. We have hard shell Samsonite luggage and they managed to dent the corner all the way in and crease it, cause so many deep scratches and gouges, and even broke off one of the name tags from the handle. I will do whatever I can to never fly with American Airlines again and suggest you do the same!
Do not use American Airlines, it has to be the worst airline in the Country. They Make you check in your bags, they say there is no overhead room, me walking by and seeing all that overhead room, I’m just like why. Last time I flew with them about a month ago, they canceled my flight after waiting 8 hours in the airport and fly all over the country, through Charlotte, then Dallas, then finally home to Fresno. Had to sleep in the Dallas airport all night which I guess could have been worse! Don’t fly American Airlines!!! Just don’t… they have no customer service even the lady onboarding looked and acted like she didn’t like her job and treated a lot of people with suck indifference and little respect!
I used the American Airlines site to book a flight that actually was with Alaska airlines. I paid for first class but after paying the reservation on American it changed my flight to coach when I got the confirmation email. American doesn't care, Alaska can't confirm what a third party does in bookings. Don't use American Airlines to book flights!! KESACE
On flight 1468 from Miami to San Antonio at 9:10pm on 9/29/2024 was not pleasant at all. There were two children sitting behind my husband and myself. The children were kicking and shaking our seats, yelling at the top of their lungs, fighting with each other and not wearing their seatbelts when the light was on. Their father had no control of his sons. I had to call a flight attendant, which is my first time ever asking for help on a flight. She talked to their father, but nothing changed.
Not sure what is going on with AA but after multiple AA flights this month, each one has had issues. I don't normally write reviews but the last one on 27 Sept from DFW to day resulted in the crew deciding to allow passengers to board the plane then announce over the intercom that they knew there would be a significant delay and wants the passengers to stay on the plane for 1-2 hours to see if the weather clears at the destination. Add in the very hot, sunny weather and stifling temps inside the plane and WOW! How can a company like this stay in business....in won't be with my future trips.
I'm on board right bound for Phoenix and the plane especially in our seats is very cold! American airlines YOU SUCK YOU COULDN'T EVEN PROVIDE A BLANKET FOR THIS FREEZING costumer! You canceled our flight from Rome last July 7th Sunday and moved it to Tuesday July 8th w/o even giving us a penny for paying extra night in the hotel and sleeping in the airport Monday night I kept quiet even after I mailed my complaint & you did NOTHING!. Now this time onwards you gonna hear it from me! And will try hard not to fly AA again!
American Airlines are the most unhelpful team I have ever dealt with. We arrived at Miami to fly to LA and asked for our seats to be changed at the gate, only to be told by a gate attendant that that the flight was full and my wife and I could not be seated together. She didn't care and was not helpful at all. We purchased a ticket for the 5 hour flight with food being able to be purchased and yet no food was served on this long flight which was amazing. The plane it self was a cheap plane and the experience was very disappointing. Then when asked to leave feed back by American Airlines on our experience, after sharing, they came back with thank you for the feedback and we hope you will fly with us again. There are much better airlines flying in the USA, we will never ever fly with American again, I suggest you don't either.
Flight from Charlotte sat for an hour after boarding. Flight kept being delayed and held because they wanted to wait for the Troy university women’s soccer team to get on the flight. A flight has never waited on me to make a late connection, but I have to wait an hour for them. Total BS
I won’t bore you with all the details but one of our bags was damaged in transit. The staff at ORD couldn’t get you out of the way quickly enough. So when you make claim as their policy they immediately come back and say not covered but you can go all the way back to the airport for a member of staff to confirm that!!
At this point, I'm extremely frustrated with the way this airline does business. Now I understand any plane could get delayed with any airline, but thats where you'd expect customer relations to step in and support the customer. My husband and I did everything right to be sure we landed in Austin today but your pilot hit a bird delaying our flight for two hours which would've delayed our arrival causing us to miss the connecting flight and then delayed another 5 hours. Normally, okay whatever I'll wait but I'm traveling with a one year old so that's not an option! So we were forced to move our flight to leave at 5am which is extremely inconvient with a one year old as well. Well we then had to wait for our carseat to be offboarded from our original flight just for them to tell us thats already being sent to Dallas. Honestly theres just too many unfortunate events to spend my time writing. Im just upset their customer service did nothing and that I'm not able to enjoy my vacation.
The Flight Attendants for flight #3996, Carolina Jefferson and Elisa Jackson were absolutely amazing and caring in providing all passengers with the best possible flight experience possible! I would fly with this wonderful flight staff again at anytime!!
Don't care about customers or even respond to customers reaching out for help.
American Airlines lying to customer and stealing money from themAmerican Airlines is lying to customer: first by offering them a refund of their tickets and then denying the same, after clients have provided themselves with other solutions (and lost additional money)These frauds and lies must be addressed in the company and the appropriate financial compensation and apologies must be offeredHere are the facts in chronological order. 21st June 2024:I buy a ticket Miami -Austin for the price of 98.48US$. for October 28th 30th June 2024:American Airlines changes dramatically the AA2137 departure and arrivals times.Given the dramatic change, this flight becomes useless to my business purposes.18th September 18th:I call the customer service to change the date completely. After days of silence (and refund still missing) I contact again AA to understand the status of my refund. 30 September 2024:Penny Jones writes to me saying that they are not going to refund my flight. “Experience”
American Airlines Review I recently had two frustrating experiences with American Airlines that I feel compelled to share. On Tuesday, May 28, my return flight from Miami was canceled due to weather. The airline waited until 11 PM to hand out hotel and meal vouchers for a flight with a boarding time of 4 AM. By the time I received the vouchers, the line was so long that it wasn't worth the wait to check into the hotel only to check out immediately to get in line for TSA and make it to the flight in a few hours. Moreover, the food vouchers were only valid inside the airport, where all the food establishments closed at 11 PM. Ironically, I arrived at my destination without my luggage since it was delivered to the wrong airport. Fast forward to June 15, I find myself stuck in Oklahoma City once again due to a canceled flight. I was booked on another flight as a standby passenger. However, my mobile app for AA.com showed a different flight booked, and I received a text message and email on june 15 about my flight arrangement changes and it was set to depart on June 14. Let me remind you, as im writting this sitting in the terminal, it is June 15, am I supposed to go back in time? After 8 hours of waiting in the airport, I finally received food vouchers for myself and everyone accompanying me. I still don't know if I have a seat on my next flight. The customer service has been extremely rude and very unprofessional, making me rethink why I joined their credit card and rewards program. Overall, these experiences have left me very disappointed with American Airlines' handling of flight cancellations and customer service. I have not added photos due to PSI. Service Value
“Theft”
Flyers should be aware that there is theft amongst those who work in luggage. I had a bag of prescription medication stolen from my checked suitcase. As it happens, I had a few doses left to last me a few days, but I had to go through a lot of loop holes to get my doctors to give me a second prescription, but I had to pay for it out-of-pocket, because my insurance would not cover it that soon. When you consider that any medication, without it, could be landing its user in the emergency room and/or death, this type of thievery is disgusting. Mine is for epilepsy, and without it, I can have violent seizures. I am fairly certain that my experience will not matter much to American Airlines, so I am coming on here to let others know. Service
“I wish I didn't fly American AA”
I wish I didn't fly American AA, my first flight was delayed 3 hours, then they gave away my seat on the next flight because I was only 17 minutes early. I was told by the manager that I should have been earlier and it's my fault
“Do NOT do business with this airline”
Unscrupulous staff. Creating reasons not to honor tickets, a $610 became $2900. After being told they needed time to calculate taxes... In reality, they were just trying to coax someone off the plane to increase the fee. Never again. Products used:airline ticket Service Value Quality
“UNBELIEVABLE!”
Purchased our upgraded tickets directly from American Airlines the day they became available to get the seats that we needed at the 11 month out timeframe. Many months later reviewing the details of our trip we were surprised to see that AA took it upon themselves to downgrade us to the back of the plane in smaller cheaper seats without ever notifying us or refunding the difference. What is the meaning of a reservation? Why do they collect your contact information if they don't bother to contact you? They obviously could care less about customer service & treating their customers fairly. Take your chances with another airline folks-you are just a number.
“Terrible Customer Service”
Flight got delayed by 8 hours, spent 2 hours on hold and when I finally got through to someone they said they could do nothing to get my money back or give me any kind of compensation. Totally unacceptable.
“Very good”
It's so easy to book the tickets on this site. The confirmation comes really quickly too. I've been flying with this particular airline for the past 10 years and the only big disadvantage is that the ticket prices went up recently.
“Unfriendly and unprofessional customer service spoils trip.”
The customer service was super rude and unprofessional in general and throughout the flight. Never seen such a behavior in the service sector. When I forgot my ipad on the plane and noticed right away, the "customer service from AA" said it's not their issue and that it has to be done online. When I told them I can't open the online page (only that one didn't open) they said to try it when I'm back in Germany... They accidently spilled water on the person next to me who was soaking wet sitting in air conditioning and they gently ignored the issue by saying: "it's just water". When I complained because I had to check in my hand bag even though no one told me before that I had to, suddenly my seat number was changed 10 seats away from my friend. These are just a few things that happened. Overall I would never fly with them again.
“Countries borders closed; no refund”
The country I was traveling to had closed it borders. American Airlines will not issue me a refund. Why would I fly to this country just to get right back on the plane and come home? Please give us our ticket prices back.

“The reservations personnel are mental cases”
We had a need to get round trip, non-stop, tickets from LAX to STL and back. The first person got their trip back as a stop in Dallas. When I contacted the airlines to fix that, the women I talked to told me that I did not tell her to change to the next for a very early morning flight. What a bunch low I. Q. people! Stay with Southwest. Their people listen and don't lie about it.
“Waited for 2.5 hours for check in in business”
We had booked tickets for business class to fly fro London Heathrow to Miami and waited in the business class line for 2 and half hours with a queue of 50 people all trying to check in to business class as well. The 3 first class desks were all manned but they refused to help and just stood watching us. AA were completely useless with my complaint and it was a very stressful wait Service Value Quality
“Flight cancelled one leg of my journey - totally inept, unprofessional customer service”
If you ever have a problem with American Airlines - don't bother looking for a real person to call. They only allow you to send an email with your complaint. Then they take several days to respond back saying they're sorry for the "inconvenience" of my connecting flight being cancelled and causing me to be six hours late for my arrival. The "customer service" rep gave me an unspecified number of mileage points. It could be five or five million from the information I received. When I checked my mileage points with them, he had given me 7500 - not enough to use for anything at all. Needless to say I would rate American Airlines / US Airways as total zeroes when it comes to customer service. I would rather drive than ever use this airline again.
“You are just another number!”
Weather delays, cancellations with no assistance with rebooking, cost more to book new flights, wasted food and beverage coupons, no concern with my safety or well-being by stranding me in the airport over night by myself, then more delays, missed flights, and total inconvenience of 14 hours and hundreds of dollars. Just in case you were wondering what American Airlines response to their terrible customer service on July 18 -19th. Please free the read and share. Be cautious when using them in the future ladies and gentlemen, they don't care about you. You are just another number.
“Horrible”
This is the second time I been put in a bad situation with this airline and the app is just as bad it always says having trouble then leads you to go on line a 4 hour's hold time calling in it's unreal Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Customer service is really bad!”
Agent scheduled my return trip wrong. I didn't notice right away. AA wanted to charge $100 to change it. It was there error. I scheduled the trip the same time with my mom. Her trip info was correct. I told them they had bad customer service so they reduced fee to $42. I called back talked to manager and they did finally say no charge!
“I purchased round-trip airline tickets through Expedia...”
I purchased round-trip airline tickets through Expedia and their travel insurance. When I tried to change the last leg of the trip, I was told by U.S. Airways that it would cost me $759 up front and then file the claim through Expedia's insurance. Really? When I became upset and, yes, sarcastic, I was disconnected.
“American Airlines the Worst”
Absolute horrible experience. They charge you for checking your bag. Then the flight lands and sits waiting for a gate to be empty. Then you're late for your connection. Then they lose your bag. Trying to get information is an absolute disaster with all the recordings on their phone line. You wait literally one hour on the phone waiting to talk to someone. When you finally get a human being they can help you. It took a day and a half to finally get my luggage. They ruin your vacation. In a nutshell this is the worst airline I've ever dealt with. I will never fly with them again. $25 to check a bag and then they lose it. You would think they would refund the $25 but no way
“Refund woes”
We have $1191. 39 worth of credit, from three tickets that we were unable to use April 22,2021, due to Covid. We had purchased the tickets through Expedia. I attempted to use the credit to book a trip and the site said that the travel had to be completed by March 4,2022, but the email confirming the credit said we had 1 year to use it. Expedia said they were unable to extend the "use by" date, even with the new Covid policies, and referred me to American Airlines. AA also stated that they don't own the tickets and sent me back to Expedia, in spite of the fact that they advertise that they can extend the dates, due to Covid. I would think with all the bad press they've gotten this year, they'd be more helpful. Won't be flying American again. Service Value
“Horrible”
This is by far the worst airline you could choose. I had a 600 dollar credit that they refused to apply to my first class flight for no reason. So the credit is just sitting there and I will never fly with them again. Wait times to speak to someone was over 3 hours. Most recently my mothers flight was delayed 6 times then canceled late at night. The airline refused to give her her bag so we was trapped in a random city with nothing. They then sent her bag to a city she wasn't even in or went to. They won't give her credit for the canceled flight either. American Airlines is incredibly rude and will steal your money at any given chance. Do not fly with them. Service Value Returns Quality
“Extra charges”
My sister get charged for a seat when I bought the ticket? She was told they would not print out a pass until she bought a seat... I thought when you buy a ticket it came with a seat because they will not let you fly standing up. I kinda understand the charge for baggage but pay for a seat. When you call them to see why you get the runaround. They don't tell you all you have to do is show up at the airport and they will give you a seat. Then good luck getting the extra charge back. I wonder if Delta does this? I don't remember them doing this but then it might be a new rip off.
“I will Never Flying With Them”
The unprofessional flight attendant appeared to be having a bad day. They also changed my seat just to satisfy another customer. I canceled my return flight with American as I didn't want to experience the same. I book an instant return flight over a call *******433 at a discount price. Service Value Returns Quality
“NEVER AGAIN!”
Worse airline experience EVER. I paid for flight arrangement three months in advance. Scheduled to return home on 1\1\18. Flight to leave JFK at 1:07. I received an email that morning that my flight would be delayed til 1:45 (still have email). I arrived at JFK at 11:45 and like many others, no assistance with kioss. Folk standing talking to one another... UNWILLING to assist. Long story short... 3 flights left that day... No apologies, no offer of accommodation... Spent the night in JFK. I WAS SO HURT! To this day there's been no apology no offer of refund... NOTHING! They treated me like DIRT! They won't ever get that opportunity again. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!
“"Going for Great" American Airlines I don't think So!”
My son's flight was delayed at Miami International Airport going to Dallas, Texas to catch a connector flight to his final destination Ontario, CA. He missed that flight as his flight was delayed for 3 hours in Miami he finally landed He assumed he would be given a hotel voucher as he was told he would have to take another flight tomorrow. They also said he was to use his own charge card to make reservation for a hotel for overnight as they ran out of vouchers and didn't direct him to hotel to stay at. They told him he would get reimbursed by AA if he submitted the receipts. Who dropped the ball? Not a good way to build customer satisfaction. He will think twice before flying with American Airlines next time (so will I) American Airlines certainly isn't "GOING FOR GREAT" when they treat their customers like this.
“Best US airline by far!”
I am a million miler on American, and I can't say enough about their customer service. They are so far ahead of Delta and United (both of which I despise!) that there is no contest when it comes to who is the best airline. I have had many, many instances where AA went above and beyond in helping me with problems, and if they make a mistake, they actually try to do the right thing and fix it! Wow, what a concept! I will never fly Delta or United if I can possibly help it. Thanks American, you folks rock!

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tested and vetted by our Scam Detector team.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices
The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:
- They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
- They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
- Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- Check this: They hide your online searches, which means you will get only organic search results without tracking and follow-up ads. For example, when you search for a flight, and the next time you look at the same search, the prices are higher. With Surfshark, this doesn't happen.
