alura.io Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives alura.io a pretty low trust score on the platform: 32.4. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Medium Risk. Standard. Warning.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 32.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to alura.io's industry. The algorithm detected fairly high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Medium Risk. Standard. Warning. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning alura.io, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between alura.io and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of alura.io. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of alura.io, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. alura.io is a questionable website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether alura.io has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether alura.io boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, alura.io.

Refund policy states that if you contact them within 7 days of paying for a subscription and change your mind for whichever reason, then they will give a full refund. Baring in mind the only way to contact them is by email. I emailed 3 days ago and no response. I can’t see myself getting a reply any time soon… and if they do and it’s after the 7 days then what?! I just want my refund that I’m entitled to please
absolute garbage. Avoid at all costs. Useless support, app doesn't work.
Took ages before the dresses were delivered .No reaction after the mailing .Dresses are cheap , too small and ( as advertised ) NOT silk but synthetic material .
The data is all totally inaccurate so it doesn’t help at all? It was showing for example that I had more sales that I actually had and they confirmed the data is just based on averages so it’s pointless. They send you no reminder email when the subscription renews. They did refund me but an inaccurate amount, customer service was so terrible I didn’t even bother to ask for the difference back. The system is very slow too
Utter waste of time, nothing works. Extremely glitchy, continuous login problems, login with a Google profile does not help, it seems they are really after your email address. Once finally inside nothing works as it keeps loading, making any research impossible. I am currently on a free trial plan, but is best to AVOID any paid plan with this extension. I cannot believe the raving reviews...
A couple days into my paid membership and I am so annoyed with Alura. It's very, very, very slow to load any data. I have tried different devices, different connections but the app is painstakingly slow. It has gotten to the point that I'm back to doing my research on Etsy manually. Going by the reviews here it's useless to contact support so I'll just switch to one of their competitors.
Saw a review on Youtube, it seemed like a great match for me, tested and decided to get a paid plan - terrible mistake!!!DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE!!!!The data it returns makes no sense, I would say it is almost casual - it does not stay connected to the Etsy store for more than a day and it takes AGES to load any data - was way better off doing it manually.Of course customer support is useless so will never see a refundTERRIBLE!
Alura is horrible. over the past week it has worked for me a total of 5 minutes, or the equivalent of 2 product searches. before it starts freezing up. not to mention the chrome extension doesn't work at all feel stupid for paying for this dumb application
The Listing Helper is not functioning properly. It fails to display all my listings, making it impossible for me to use it to enhance my listings. The extension app is also malfunctioning, and I never get a straight answer about when it will get fixed. The overall system appears to be unstable. I am unable to receive instant assistance, as I have to wait at least one day to receive a response.
Alura is bot fodder. I'd give it zero if I could. The email campaign/Etsy integration doesn't work. I set up a campaign only for it to send my "free" 25 emails to back orders from a month ago. Etsy send out an email that they're going to discontinue email integrations and while that stinks, they could use something that actually works. Oh and there is NO customer service. A bot will reply to your request saying they'll get back to you but then no one does. I'm not sure who is actually working behind this platform, but the free version isn't even worth the frustration. I'd saw off my leg before paying for it. The plans are crazy expensive and not comprehensive. I won't pay for something when they can't even get the free version right.
It is just horrid. I bought a monthly subscription a few days ago and I really wish now I did not. The research tool is useless. Keywords? It manages to load maybe one out of five I try to search for, it is just constantly loading without any result. I was hoping to do research effectively with this tool but it is actually costing me more time (and nerves) than if I was doing it manually or with some other tool, even a free one. Not going to pay for another month, what a waste of money! Sigh...
The app is good but a little bit glitchy. The customer service should be better. They always ask questions that have already been explained before. You can waste half of your day talking with them.UPDATEYou can waste your full week with customer service. They're replying almost after a day with some standard messages. You can't access the developer to solve the issue. They're not trying to help it. They're trying to eliminate you. Awful.
This show is worth every penny it is fantastic!!! You cannot visit Miami without coming here . The dancers are unbelievable the music is top notch great !!! This is non stop entertainment at its best with extremely talently performers!! 10 stars!!!
On the previous version I got some results but ever since the upgrade product seeker, and shop analyzer has become almost useless. They had a decent product but right they have ruined and their support is useless.
So i would like to say that Alura has really changed the way used to do my listings. Earlier it used to take me around 4-5 hrs of self research to find good keywords what to write in title and stuff like that, but ever since i started using alura i am able to list faster and the fact that i use its free version is commendable, for me its the best tool out there and I'll definitely invest in it in future. Btw i generally don't do reviews so if it sounds fake or awkward then I'm sorry.
Alura simplifies product research, provides a birds-eye view of any niche's performance on Etsy. Alura makes it easy to determine search frequency, sales, revenue, competition, and more for any product. I love that this tool leaves nothing out, which is great because you will understand what you're up against and if you can succeed in this niche on Etsy!
Could be great BUT...it crashes constantly, and connects to my shops when it feels like it. I have a Professional account yet I NEVER have the ability to see and use all the options associated with that. My accts are still treated as me only having a free acct. Customer service is non existent (as you can see by how long it takes for them to respond here) especially on the weekends. When you do get a reply they always blame the issues on Etsy, yet I NEVER have connection issues with Marmalead or Everbee. If they would spend more time on correcting their current issues before trying to offer new options, I believe this could be a great platform. Until that happens its a big NO for me.
Unfortunately I had great expectations but the app is erratic. It connects to my store whenever it feels like it. It says it's connected but the dashboard data is old and the listing helper does not find my listings. Very disappointed. Will not renew.
Alura is a wonderful tool for learning and starting selling on Etsy. Their tools explain why, not just telling you the answer. Also, they're helpful if you have questions. If you don't understand something, some people can help guide or answer your question. They make sure everyone has the best possible experience when using Alura! I've been very happy with my decision to use them because of how much they teach me every day.
i would rate 10 stars alone for customer service if i could! the software works as intended, proving exact numbers well beyond a 10k threshold for competition. better than any other etsy research tool on the market, by far.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
