Is alpinstore.com Legit?

Purchased shoes to be imported to Switzerland for 120 EURO. Paid once delivery costs at 20 EURO and then was asked by UPS to pay another 35 CHF for customs arrangement...So total costs reached almost 50% of the price of the shoes and normally from France to Switzerland is less than 10%. No real support offered by AlpinStore

Returned the 2 items I purchased for they didn't fit correctly. Seller said they got only one item back and only reimbursed one. Hopefully I had used paypal for the purchased and managed to get my money back after I opened a claim. I would recommend taking pictures of your return parcel just in case.

After I returned the package because the goods did not fit, despite my desire to get the money back I received a coupon (valid only one year) for the value of the goods via email. Be careful because they don't want return your money back.

Friendly and efficient IT support (by phone and mail), when I experienced some technical issues opening my account. Very short response time. Huge product range with reasonable prices and brands I personally like much. TXS

Super fast delivery from France, literally ordered on Monday and delivered on Wednesday! Fantastic service, great price too. These boots are ace but not available in the UK. Can't fault my experience.

12 days after placing the order and immediate payment the parcel is still not shipped, although the product was claimed to be available. After 10 days I received a mail saying the product isn't in stock so I should wait 8 more days. Update: shipment came a bit late, apart from that everything was fine.

I bought a Outdoor Research down jacket. Alpinestars had the cheapest price. Their service and delivery were exceptional. I recommend shopping with them.

Shipping was way fast coming from France to USA. Item was exactly as advertised and works amazing. I was a little skeptical, as I’ve never shopped with Alpinstore and made quite a big purchase. I could tell the shipping package and unit box was opened prior to my handling, however there was a warning that there may be some inspection as it goes through customs being that it was an avalanche beacon set. But, everything was accounted for and in great condition upon arrival. I would definitely recommend this store to family and friends and will continue to shop with them in future. Good products at reasonable prices but one week after purchase still no delivery. Request at customer service was not answered satisfactorily as delay was confirmed and no date was given for delivery.Update 17.05.The shipment has finally arrived in good condition. I am happy with the quality of the products but not totally satisfied with the logistics. Therefore increase to 4*

Product selection was great and pricing was better than in the U.S., even with international shipping. Communication was also excellent. My order shipped the next day, cleared Customs, and was delivered in perfect condition two days later.

The ordering went fine, as did payment. At first the information given was up to date. After a while a warning about a delay was sent, which was appreciated. After that, weeks went by without any updated. I asked for an update, and the next date my order was sent. It seems it was forgotten? That said, all in all it has been a decent experience.

Ordered 2 items. Both were listed as “in stock, dispatched within 24h”. After 2 days I contacted customer support and they said the one item was being restocked and would be at least a week. Customer support was then extremely friendly and super helpful and sent the in stock item immediately. I wish the website would stop listing things as “in stock” when it’s really not. I had a stock issue on my previous order as well. Support was amazing then as well but should not be necessary

Good price and speedy delivery.But beware if you live in Switzerland, the (really bad) carrier they use will make you pay a third more in administration costs (taxes a cheap) and the total cost is not advantageous at the end. I will not reorder from this company.

Great selection and Service! My order was shipped within 24 hours and arrived three days later. It was the right size and right piece of equipment. Much better than other online outdoor suppliers that I have dealt with in the past.

No shoes received out of stock, and you still feature them on your website!I received my shoes, the customer service team was very helpful and gave quick and correct information on my questions

After I ordered the product, I received two “shipping” emails over the course of 3 weeks and nothing ever showed up. I contacted the store, the first time, they stated the product would ship within a week. After the second shipping notice, I contacted them again and they finally stated they do not have the product at all and offered a refund or exchange. This seems very unorganized.

Not fast delivery, it took about 1w to start shipment moving, but overall price and quality are good. If you not hurry about delivery time i can recommend it.
