Is alomoves.com Legit?

Girls don't get it,I've bought so many clothes from, they don't wash well at all. They look like homeless ppl clothing after 3 washes.They make them look beautiful & trendy in photo but they aren't worth it

I personally love this app. A wide variety of workouts to suit every level, intensity and time frame. The instructors are generally very good and the quality of workouts great. The meditation and all the well-being elements are also great. I do find it a bit expensive. But also recognize it’s a lot cheaper than a gym and there’s hundreds of new videos every month. I do think that they need to improve the filtering options (hands free, or wrist friendly workout, or postpartum recovery etc) but I expect that will come in time as they continue to improve the app.

I loved some of the videos and instructors, but this company has no respect for its long-term customers.I purchased the annual membership with a '50% lifetime' discount, but when i wanted to renew it with the discount applied, they told me "i am too late as it only applies to memberships which are continuously active". Funny thing is that I asked them just 1 day after my membership ended. Ridiculous. It took weeks to clarify the situation, by the end of which I really do not want to invest my money in this.

I signed up for a trial and immediately hated the AppleTV app. You cannot filter by difficulty, style or intensity on the AppleTV app. There are options in the navigation for these filters but they simply say "all (styles, difficulty or intensity) which literally makes those navigation options (and the app, imo) utterly useless. I literally reached out within an hour of signing and asked them to cancel my trial. Great if you want to market that you have "thousands of classes" but if you make it impossible for the user to find classes that suit them then your app sucks. I was looking for yoga and it took me a while to find one because I had to scroll through Pilates and other classes that I wasn't looking to take. Then landed on a random yoga class after ten minutes. It was okay. Not great. Not terrible. Maybe it is an AppleTV thing and their iPad, iPhone, web app is better. I wouldn't know. I am looking for an AppleTV app and this is the worse I've seen. I have trialed quite a few recently. It's a shame when the content is overshadowed by a bad user experience. Do better, Alo Moves.

I've been with Alo Moves before they bought out Cody. My annual subscription was $99 without warning it went up to $199 by automatic renewal. I prefer the older teachers the newer ones are really annoying advertising Alo products mid class. Time to find another app.

I love some instructors and classes. But, the app crashes frequently it’s insane as hell.After my first year subscription discounted, they renewed automatically whilst the setting never indicated when/how much.. I promise I asked their customer service 5 times but I got no answer on when it’s renewal date and how much. In the first year they didnt charge vat but in the second year they charged including tax without a notice.The general customer service and communication was too poor.Even navigating how to cancel is not simple.It’s just an app ready to take your money without returning any notice or communication.Bye alo, i’ll move to glo!

I had a recent experience with the otherwise fantastic Alo Moves company that left a really bad taste in my mouth. Almost two years after not renewing an annual membership I had with them, my Canadian bank account was mysteriously debited over $300 by the yoga brand. After a bit of research, I confirmed that yes, my membership had indeed been cancelled, found a toll-free number and called their help desk. I was told by a lovely but ultimately disappointing CSR, Gerald, that there was nothing he/Alo could do but rather I had to take this up with my bank (and no, he would not allow me to speak to his supervisor…). Having been down this frustrating road before with other online vendors, I iwrote an honest review sharing my experience on both Trust Pilot as well as Apple’s App store - which was rife with similar 1 star reviews sharing the same experience. (Buyer beware!) I then followed the review process up with an email to Alo sharing my story. Well I’m happy to report that a mere 25 hours later, Alo’s wrong has been ALMOST righted (they credited me $289 of the $310 they took from me…) so I am doing the right thing and changing my negative review to reflect not just the improvement but also their speedy response and efforts. While the end result is not 100% in my favour, it is 95% so in the spirit of Alo, I’m going to let it go and take the Zen road. Alo/Brianna, you’ve done the right thing and I’m grateful. Filters for selecting workouts don't work properly, and you can't rate a workout. During some workouts, there is too much unnecessary talking. Overall very poor quality of service. The website looks good but you should really improve it. At the moment there are much better websites for home workouts.

I am loving this app the third year now! Ashley's classes are just divine. With 199USD for the annual subscription it is a bit pricy but totally worth it.

After being a loyal customer over years Alo did charged me more this year. I was writing customer care to receive a promotion for 50% discount lifetime in 2022. Worked until now. No answer back! I am really disappointed of how alo treat the customer. There a more apps and even the classes were nice I will not come back for the full price as there are other companies out there treating customers better!!!

After being a customer for so long, I am so disappointed with how they treat older customers. I also hate companies who renew your membership without any warning as it’s unethical. I see this has happened to many people and unfortunately this is common. As a big company, you’d expect more from them. Don’t waste your money, it’s not that great anyways!

AVOID ALO MOVES! DO NOT SIGN UP TO A SUBSCRIPTION. Scam artists, fraudulently taking money from my account for 2 months in a row, despite being provided with the require notice to cancel my free trial 3 months ago. Each time I raised the issue with them, I have received zero response. I will now be contacting my bank to report fraudulent activity and be seeking legal advice.

I cancelled my subscription more than a year ago. Suddenly, on Black Friday this year, I get a notification that I was charged for another year's subscription. This is ridiculous. It's not like a subscription renewal. It's a brand new subscription after a whole year of inaction! I emailed customer support and, of course, no answer. I literally cannot afford what they charged me. Unbelievable.

Horrible, horrible experience. Customer support simply won’t respond over email or phone. They just charge you for the entire year with no message or communication about the subscription - but will be sure to bombard you with all kinds of promotional content. I recently bought some clothes as well and the quality is POOR compared to Lulu or even sweaty betty (while being 1.2-1.5x the price). Clearly they’re just a bunch of scammers with no care for their customers but only the influencers that promote their crap on instagram. Never purchasing anything from them - neither their digital services nor their pathetic, overpriced clothes. AVOID!

I have zero respect for companies who do not give customers a heads up before an annual subscription renews. I literally see ads daily for 50% off annual membership, but I, a loyal customer of nearly two years am charged full price without any notice 3 days before Christmas. It's just shady business practice, send an email 2 weeks before it's due so people can prepare. And offer existing customers the same deal.

I've been a customer for years. Ever since it was Cody and Alo took over.Their established teachers have a wealth of knowledge. However, new instructors and the Instagram "influencers" do very poor sequencing.Heavy breathing. It's annoying.They claim it's an issue with the microphone. They need to sort it out but never do.Need more diversity of ages, sizes and cultures. The app isn't great and often crashes.I won't be renewing.

I’m so disappointed with Alo Moves. I have been charged incorrectly for my annual subscription and no-one has responded to my emails or messages. They’re a big money making machine who don’t care about their dedicated subscribers.

Honestly the worst sizing item I have ever bought. Massive!!!! The Large is xxxxxxxL in European standards… Over priced crap. And worst thing… international purchases cannot be returned. I just threw mine in the rubbish bin. Never again.

What other customers say it’s inaccurate. They refunded my purchase after I mistakenly forgot to cancel the yearly subscription.
