Is aliexpres.com Legit?

Only great deals, and when a seller make a mistake, I have always.. (well 9/10 time) been integraly refunded or delivered a second time without any fee. I made more than 400 orders, and I will not stop here. Super site.

I am mostly evaluating the platform itself. Because inside you can find serious sellers or otherwise and anything in between. They try to get rid of knock-offs and such which is a good thing. My main issue is usually related to long arrivals times but again.. not much of a platform thing I guess.

If you have a bit of patience its great, use it all the time for my electronic projects at home.

Alixpress delivers goods very slowly. It doesn't depends on you bought something for 100$ or 1$I am horribly not happy with a delivery time

I have ordered a lot on Aliexpres and until now have not yet experienced problems yet. Also branded products could be obtained via Aliexpres much cheaper than back here in Europe. Lamp bulbs, Led lamps, IP-camera's on Aliexpres, I have ordered them all on this site with no problems. Selecting DHL for the delivery seems the smartest thing to do (for Dutch customers). This is better than regular post (handled by Post.nl). Post NL quite often charges you additional handling costs back in NL and it might take quite some time and effort to have the order processed through customs. DHL has no hidden costs and is much quicker.

Great service and Advice on a huge Range of products, their website is easy to navigate and products are of very good standard.I buy a lot of PC and Electronic parts & equipment and have no problems with delivery or quality of these items. Much better prices than Amazon & E-Bay by far..!!I payed $76 US for an 256GB SSD Kingspec to test against Samsung 850 Evo 250GB SSD and found not a great deal of difference in real-world speeds, especially for the price differences. :OSamsung SSD was between $140 US

Well reading some of the reviews where ppl had issues with AliExpress... touchwood I never had any such issue. Whenever I've placed an order I've received my items in less than 2 weeks and I've always been happy with the items quality. The prices are extremely reasonable. 👍 Highly recommend this site ..

They are scammer,I order they shipped and on tracking it shows delivery failed but Aliexpress horrible customer service release full amount to the seller after 5 days of opening the dispute, even on the postage site it was clearly mentioned that it was failed to deliver. Save your self from this scam site and paid bit more and shop website like Amazon.

It WAS a great shop, I have 1000+ orders made in 5 years there and lots of money spent. But Unfortunately from this February something have changed to be exact buyer protection and to be even more exact there is no buyer protection today. All started from few regular disputes because item do not arrived in time (few I mean 2 or 3) keep in mind that i order A lot from there. My account was disabled, after few weeks and lots of chats (with a robot I think) my account was enabled and I have made 2 more order and account was disabled again. No one could explain why just always get a message "wait 2 days and we will enable your account". So later got an explanation that one of the sellers reported on me. So after new Aliexpress rules if you open dispute any seller without any reasons can report on you and that's all for your account. My wife ordered USB cable, seller sent wrong color of it and she lost her account. I have made new account spent $1500 in one month and for one item $30 worth opened dispute because seller didn't included drivers for it and do not respond to my messages and that's all! So and all other items that comes to you don't have any buyer protection because you can't open dispute for them! SO NO BUYER PROTECTION! BE CAREFUL! If Aliexpress wants to say something please do so, because I am tired to talk with robots.

My account is suspended I can't open dispute and purchase protection is running out for few of my orders. They are scamming people. When they notice that you didn't receive your order and that purchase protection is running out they will block your account just so they don't need to make the refund. And they will also block possibility to add a reviews, so all the reviews under the products are filtered and scam also. AVOID!

Trustworthy site for cheap goods from China. Delivery can take a long time but its usually free delivery so no complaints. The odd item hasn't turned up and AliExpress made sure that the seller refunded me in full.

There is no one to talk to that can help or solve a problem. It just goes arround and arround with no feedback from Aliexpress. When disputes are judged one gets no feedback about the ruling or why some evidence was dismissed. Aliexpress judges on quantity and not on the quality of evidence.Threats you can't submit. Aliex is not interested in sellers cheating the rules even with clear evidence!Buy on Ebay instead.

I was a customer in Aliexpress: more than 150 items bought, more than 2000 euros spent on their website.Something like 10 times items not arrived even with a tracking number, sometimes the items not as described, but ok, issue resolved.Once i was not happy with their judgement (the seller agreed to refund me because of an error on their description) Aliexpress didn't wanted the seller to refund me.When i escalated because i found that stupid, they closed my account...I guess is that, because they didn't even told me the reason.They said to me that i continuously have violated their policies..No more explanations. Chinese way of doing business ? Aliexpress policy ? What you have to bear in mind is that Aliexpress is just a marketplace like Amazon marketplace exept China based and vastly bigger. If you take care and only buy from reputable sellers ( look at feedback and orders) then you should not have a problem. I originally closed my first account as I had problem with dodgy sellers, I am now ordering again and am very pleased with the service and price.

I like the website and their service. The products, all the ones I have bought have been of a very good quality.

“Worst delivery service, website design and customer service!”

One of the worst designed websites to navigate and I've had several issues with products not being delivered in time and/or tracking not being available. Not sure what type of courier services these guys are using, but I've also read reviews and other articles where this has been a huge issue! Furthermore, I keep getting emails regarding feedback and filling in a survey, but the link doesn't work. What kind of amateur operation is this? I've also clicked on their online help centre which just times out and comes back to the same page! They seems to offer a delivery guarantee, however I haven't seen any credits/coins deposited back to my account and since it's impossible to actually contact anyone there, unlike Amazon or Temu, one might need to weigh the options and go with more reputable sites. Judging from the overall review of AliExpress on Trustpilot, I'm starting to see a more clearer picture! Would not recommend! I recently brought 5 hoodies for my son, nephew and their friends. The hoodies were of poor quality (to my standards) so I requested a return. They sent me a shipping label, I shipped all 5 hoodies together and was only refunded for 1. The receipt shows the package weighed almost 5 lbs which is indicative of multiple items in the package because 1 hoodie does not weigh that much. Now they have the hoodies and my money. I ordered some natural deodorant, and it is three inches long. The picture makes it look like a regular size bar of deodorant. There are no places to leave reviews. I see why. My essential oil air diffuser is way smaller than the picture makes it seem and there is no mist coming out, not to mention the "flame light" is just an orange glow, no flame. But 1 is as low as it goes. I ordered a chair on 12/1/24 through Paypal. I checked on the progress to see what date it would be here. I gave them every single number they asked or, order number, invoice number, transaction number, and tracking number. I talked to at least four different people and they could find absolutely nothing with all of the nu I sent them. I copied and pasted everything I had and they said they can't find my account. What is this? Bait with low prices, get the money and suddenly then can't find anything at all. Sounds a little scammy to me. DON'T BUY FROM THEM. I AM SORRY I DID. They closed my account but yet I haven't received my order, which was a walking ball. No communication and still haven't received my money back, Customer Service when contacted just said I wasn't going to get my order because they were sold out. Save yourself the trouble and just don't order from them.

SCAM Do not trust this site or its sellers. I spent almost $400 on furniture items that were delivered to the wrong address in the wrong city. UPS stated that the package was not even in my name. I contacted the seller and they stated that they would ship me a new one but it would ship anywhere from Jan1 to Jan 31. Very snarky and condescending. The AI help on AliExpress is no help and the actual person I spoke with who stated she would issue a refund did not. I placed my order in early December, for a gift and I have no gift and no refund. This is a complete scam. I read the posted reviews- which were positive BUT after a closer look they also have QUESTIONS & ANSWERS- this is where you can see the actual reviews and they are not positive.

I ordered 12 rechargeable batteries and a battery charger from Ali Express store "D-V-C-N-A-battery Store". I received only 6 batteries and the charger. The seller claimed the batteries were 9900 mAh, but they test at only 420 mAh. The charger has a U.K. Style wall plug and so is unsuitable for use in the U.S. I initaited communications with the seller, but they now refuse to communicate further. I was not provided with real costumer support when a package was lost and I asked for a refund. Deliverer didn't receive it and still Aliexpress told me to wait the 35 days before refunding. When companies only care about money and not costumers despite of legit proof, there we have those dirty ethics that we all know and despise. Disgusting.

“AliExpress will not help with mis-delivered packages”

I placed 2 orders with AliExpress in October 2024. The first one arrived and was OK. The second order did not arrive but the USPS tracking stated "delivered in or at mailbox". The question is: Whose mailbox? The seller and AliExpress would not help out with this other than stating "sorry about that". The seller is responsible to work with the shipping company in the not-so-rare case where the postal service delivers to the wrong address. Fortunately, I successfully disputed the charge with the charge card company.

I think AliExpress lets crooked vendors put merchandise ads on their website that they have no intention of delivering. It happened twice to us. Bought a burr grinder to grind coffee beans for expresso. The price was lower than I found Amazon/Target/Walmart type sites so we bought it. They charged us, and took our money, and confirmed the order. But then 8 days later they closed the order due to "time out" because the vendor hadn't shipped the item. We complained to Aliexpress about having use of our money for more than 8 days for free, and we wanted them to not allow vendors to advertise when there was no intent to deliver...just a money float scheme. We bought another of the same burr grinder from another vendor and the exact same thing happened. Worse yet, this time there was a Black Friday sale on this item from legitimate websites and vendors, while this item was supposed to be shipped to us. So we were deprived of the opportunity to buy this product at a discounted price. If anyone else has had this experience, maybe post on this website and maybe we can get an attorney interested in a class action lawsuit to bring Aliexpress to justice! “You are responsible for delivery of goods, not Aliexpress”

I've shopped on Aliexpress on and off for about 10 years. It has been a few yrs but I tried them again recently. I would say the customer service has improved but I would still not recommend it. I had one item that was delivered mistakenly to another home by the last mile courier service (SpeedX which is also on my naughty list). I tried multiple times to contact them to get my package or a certificate, statement or something to explain there was a delivery error. They did not respond to calls, texts, or messages via their website or their facebook page. Aliexpress required evidence that there had been a delivery error or they would not refund my money or send a replacement. I explained that I could not get the company to respond in anyway. They said it was my responsibility to follow up and provide the evidence from the courier. I had 72 hours to do this and failed. Therefore I was charged for the item. I have a long history of purchases from them so I am not sure why they think I would lie about this delivery error on a cheap sweater but they insisted it was my responsibility to PROVE that I did not receive it and to do all follow up with the courier service. I submitted a photo of the house the package was delivered to (from the courier services tracking page) and then a photo of my house with the address showing...but that was inadequate evidence. “The SPORADIC SCAM”

There are a number of CRIMINAL sellers on Aliexpress who believe they've developed a foolproof scam. Here's how it works: 1. You place an order for something costing $100+. In my case, I ordered a $349.24 Expresso Machine 11/23/2024 that sells for $499.99 or more at major retailers. 2. Seller than posts an Amazon tracking # which YOU can't track, or a fake UPS/USPS/FedEx #. 3. You receive NOTHING or a tiny package of something worth pennies. Then you must fight with Aliexpress to get a refund. In my case I received nothing and immediately filed PayPal/credit card claims. I named this Sporadic Scam because these sellers keep their Aliexpress accounts by properly filling small $ orders to try and hide their crimes. You can avoid them by doing the following: BEFORE you buy, click sellers name and view 1 star recent feedback. You'll likely see a looooooooong list of recent victims. BOTTOM LINE: If the price seems too good to be true, it is likely posted by one of these scammers. P.S. My scammer is dumb enough to be funny. He posted "posted shipped" for my order. “Useless site run by ripoff artists and morons!”

Zero stars! I placed an order on November 28,2024. I went on AE today, December 5,2024, as I was wanting to leave a review. Lo and behold! I see that my order's status is: EXPIRED! They NEVER sent me an email or contacted me to tell me this! And when I try to get the lousy dollar 'Delivery guarantee', it tells me 'Collection unsuccessful'. Why TF have a 'guarantee'?! I contacted an agent after great difficulty, in trying to get an agent, and she tried to help me out. But in the email that I received was: "Regarding order **************, we regret to inform you that we are unable to issue a refund at this stage since the request raised has beyond the buyer protection period." Ya, since I didn't know that my order was EXPIRED! Bunch of ripoff artists! Temu and Amazon are soooooo much better than AE. AE is run by amateurs and morons.
