Is aktiia.com Legit?

This little wrist band is a game changer when it comes to understanding your daily blood pressure. I been using the Aktia since October and now have hundreds of readings of my BP. In January I have a visit with a specialist as my BP is under review it will be interesting to see if they have seen the Akita and what they think about the readings. The kit is easy to use and the app works well. Allthough having on demand wrist readings would be good as well as the constant checks it does. It’s a game changer and I would highly recommend it.

I really like the report that you can get with the graphics and the details reading. My feedback would be for the notes to appear next to the date/time they occur, not at the end of the report.I'm not giving 5 stars as there have been many occasions when the wrist band have not recorded the reading even though it was correctly situated and charged, but apart from those times it's a great tool to keep track of your health.

Having raised the issue of failing wristbands with them -they very kindly sent an email saying work your way through the virtual and once your done spending three hours going round in circles you’ll get a human via email. I spent three days on and off trying to get this email option - for goodness sake just send me the blinking email address or have the courtesy to contact me back directly. What a shower.

1. You don't have immediate access to your own data when you want it. You have to request it. No PDF does not count. We need actual CSV or XLSX or similar. It's like it's not really your data.2. Does not integrate with Google Health Connect/ Fit3. It's a nice device as an indication of a possible issue. But it's simply not good enough to rely on. You need a proper more accurate BPM as well. 4. They lock you in to their own cuff. You can use your own high quality cuff, and you need your own high quality cuff to verify the data if you want to make medical decisions relating to BP. So that's two cuffs you'll need handy especially if you travel.Otherwise it's a nice idea but falls short unnecessarily.

while the sensor was working I was happy with it but when it stopped within the warranty period I was appalled how little support I got from the company. they do not honour the warranty so it just becomes a piece of expensive junk. the support department do not answer emails but say they did by sending them to non-existent addresses

I have had hi blood pressure for over 10 years now. Monitoring my blood pressure was a pain so I bought the Aktiia bracelet a year ago and have been able to monitor my blood pressure with ease even my doctor was impressed as my readings with the bracelet were almost the same as his readings using his monitor. I would recommend this product to anyone needing to monitor their bloodPressure

Attempting to get some information about the product including a return address in case I won’t like the device. All I got is a chat bot totally unusable, it is a frustrating experience especially as I was about to to order one device for 350 CAD. It is a lot of money from a Swiss company , expecting excellent customer service. Too bad. I’ll pass on this time although I was just about to order it when I experienced this disappointing response.Hopefully I may order via Amazon and then I’ll trust I get what I pay for, money back guarantee!

I had a disappointing experience with this product. It failed to pair as expected, and the customer service team was slow to respond to my inquiries. After a lengthy back-and-forth process that involved providing extensive information, I was finally able to arrange a return and receive a full refund. While the return process was ultimately successful, it felt unnecessarily cumbersome. Overall, I cannot recommend this product or the customer service based on my experience.

I have used the bracelet for 10 months now. Initially purchased because of high BP (170/115). After Xmas over indulgence.Having regular 24/7 monitoring helped me adjust lifestyle and eating habits to bring my BP into a healthier range.I find the bracelet to be accurate when compared to my Omron cuff monitor. I also really like the app and display options. For me I am very happy with the product and would highly recommend it. Game changing technology improving people’s lives.

My Aktiia bracelet is a really useful piece of wearable tech that monitors blood pressure. The device itself is small and unobtrusive, and sits on the wrist. The app (I can only speak about the android version) is clean & well-designed and presents all the data I want in an easily digestible and understandable format.I'm definitely very happy I acquired this.

Overall the device is great. I've been using it almost an year. Produces adequate data, but sometimes can be completely misleading, so one must be careful. Biggest drawback is that it cannot do measurements on demand. Also the lowest time resolution is 2 hours and these averages are just not great.But I suspect this drawback is owed to the app. The app actually is surprisingly poor. Connection is slow, lost often. I've tried both iPhone and Android, while the former is bearable, the latter is a disaster.I haven't found the time yet to reverse engineer the bluetooth connection and write my own application, but I am considering it....

This is a very useful device for those of us whose GP wants to monitor our BP. I consult my readings throughout the day for reassurance. At the end of each month I print off a report and submit it to my GP's surgery for entry on my records. My GP was blown away by my Aktiia bracelet and is going to buy one himself. Overall it gives peace of mind. If there is an unexplained rise in BP, then this alerts the wearer to take their concerns to their GP for discussion. I consider mine to be an excellent investment and it has given me much peace of mind.It is so much easier to use than a traditional cuff-monitor plus , because it takes your BP without you being aware, there is no "white coat syndrome" reaction.

I have been using Aktiia for over 3 months and have found it to be accurate, comfortable to wear and very easy to use. I particularly appreciate the long battery life and sensible choice on the frequency of re-calibration. Whenever I recalibrate the bracelet I do an independent check on the blood pressure monitor that I had previously used and find that I am getting the same results. It would be nice to have an automatic transfer to Apple Health but am finding that the 3rd party BPacess app does the job when required.

The akttia watch is a great way of keeping track of your blood pressure at all times. I can see what affects it e.g. stress, foods,illness so can address this. The company are very supportive their customer service is excellent. When I needed help they responded straight away. I think these watches should be given to everyone over a certain age.

It’s a great device. Especially the water resistant version. I hardly notice I am wearing it. It is fairly accurate however the readings are a little under, compared to spot monitoring which UK GPs still require. Another improvement would be a slightly longer wrist strap for those with larger wrists. All said it is a very good device to keep a check on BP.

The Aktiia blood pressure bracelet is convenient and easy to use. It only needs charging once every week and reinitializing once a month. The daily and nightly reports provide insight in your blood pressure day and night. I have recently shared a weekly health report with my cardiologist and will discuss the results shortly

Useful for recording my true blood pressure,I now get white coat syndrome so without this my doctor would be pushing me on pills.Would be five stars but the bracelet dose not record all the time so there’s gaps, so room for improvement.Also it comes with the medium strap which for me is on the last hole if I want a larger strap I have to purchase separately they could offer the right size with the initial purchase

Overall I useful product that enables me to monitor my Blood Px and prove to my Aviation Medical Examiner that its all under control. This overcomes the white coat syndrome of a doctor taking your BP and it being unacceptably high. I need proof that it's average is not more than 140/90. I can show that when asleep to drops as low as 110/70. Thus my body responses to current stress levels as appropriate. Thus issued with my class 1 aviation medical certificate.

Recently I contacted Aktiia Support regarding a non-working bracelet. They provided me with a clear list of instructions to troubleshoot the issue. I responded and I was informed very soon afterwards that the device was faulty and that it would be replaced under warranty. I was delighted with the speed of response and especially the outcome. I have continued to recommend to colleagues and friends of mine to purchase an Aktiia 24/7 Blood Pressure Monitor.Thank you Aktiia!Al
