airnz.co.nz Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives airnz.co.nz a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 64.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 64.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to airnz.co.nz's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning airnz.co.nz, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between airnz.co.nz and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of airnz.co.nz. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of airnz.co.nz, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. airnz.co.nz is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether airnz.co.nz has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether airnz.co.nz boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, airnz.co.nz.

Air New Zealand deliberatley bumped us off our flight on the 30/06/2024. We were on time, but they made us adjust our luggage saying we were overweight, which we weren't as we had just weighed our bags. This made us slightly late. 1-2 minutes. Evil Air NZ CSA at check in got our flight number wrong as well. She wouldn't listen. They could tell we had a connecting international flight so they charged us $100 NZ extra to change. We had no choice but to pay as they hold the monopoly on regional air travel. Do not fly with Air NZ. Flew out of NZ on Qantas. What a fantastic plane and crew. Air NZ then agreed to refund the $100 later on after our holiday, they lied- reneged and went back against their word to make it right. Just strung us along. I'll drive to Auckland from now on and fly out with a competitor. I'll never fly Air New Zealand again.
This is for the flight crew of NZ-5, the direct flight from LA to NZ. I appreciate the pilots' safe landing and easy takeoff. Although there was some turbulence along the way, you managed to keep us safe. Thank you to the wonderful staff who looked after us on the flight. I sincerely appreciate your professionalism and attention to detail. Myself and friends were lucky enough to have being upgraded to business premium, which was a nice way to round off our NY & LA trip. And I sincerely hope that everyone will soon have the opportunity to do the same. Additionally, I want to acknowledge the Air NZ crew worked in economy for their efforts on the evening journey from New Zealand to New York on April 8. Thank you for your service; you were all wonderful. Be safe & Blessings x
We flew from Sydney to Queenstown. We had a great experience. Everything went smoothly. The seats were really comfortable and the plane felt smooth and safe. The staff were friendly, and the pilot did well to give us a smooth landing.
We have wasted NZ$52 on NZ Entry Forms having had no advice on the need to complete them from AirNZ while we were in Singapore when we could have completed them if we had known of the need and 3 hours waiting for the Check-in to open when we could have done something.Only at the Check-in counter were we told that we needed to complete them. It then took an hour to complete the forms with the assistance of some computing experts whose’s fee was NZ$52. We should like the fee refunded as this was a completely avoidable cost had we been properly advised by ANZ of the requirement. The flight to New Zealand was good and the food and service was excellent. Our server, a mature gentleman, was first class, friendly and very efficient. The Entry Form cost and time wasted was the only aggravating feature and it was all so unnecessary.
When provided services are great, but it is extremely hard to contact staff and report problems when they arise. It took close to three months to resolve issues with damaged luggage, although a new one was provided when the team finally responded.
To charge full card fee for a Debit Card is not justified, as it does not incur any fees such as CC. Air NZ, the greedy near monopolist carrier in New Zealand does exactly that.Well, they offer - making you jump through at least 5 loops - online banking payment, but it is as cumbersome as it gets.Looking forward to the time when Jetstar will fully move into NZ to start proper competition.
We live in Katikati and have just booked flights to Wellington. The price for 2 return flights from Tauranga (leave Thursday 2nd May and return Sunday 5th May) was very expensive at around $1,200 seat and bag. The price Auckland to Wellington for the same days was $408 (return for 2 people) so we are going to drive to Auckland and catch our flights from there. Why can't our national carrier offer better fares from our regional airports? I understand economies of scale do impact prices but this is price gouging.
Very arrogant gate staff and complaint handling staff. My flight was delayed for more than 2 hours (apparently the original pilot fell ill in the last minute) and the boarding staff repeated twice that people are welcomed to go to the lounge without any qualifier. Silly me, with 2 kids in tow, I actually thought this airline was kind enough to treat distressed customers with a bit of comfort only to be turned away. I made the complaint online in hope that Air NZ will better train their staff and clearly add a qualifier when announcing in the future and all I got was a long spiel about who's eligible for the lounge and who's not. If hubris is more important to them than humility, I guess I just have to look for alternatives in the future. Adios, Air NZ!
I want to cancel the assistance that I had booked when I bought my tickets in November. Flight out on 9th January 2024. Tried online but there is no method to cancel in "manage my booking". Tried Oscar but that was hopeless. Rang but gave up after 35 minutes. Sent an email in reply to my booking confirmation, reply was that as the mailbox was overfull couldn't deliver my message. So today 8th January 2024 9.30am have tried again and am waiting for someone to answer my call. So far over 35 minutes of aweful music. After 40 minutes finally was able to speak to someone.I felt it was the correct thing to do as my cirumstances had changed.
Refusal to credit or refund a flight on compassionate grounds due to illness. Looks like you need to have someone die to get any kindness or understanding from these money grabbers.
Horrible experience. Cancelled flight at the last moment, substitute flight scheduled 2 days later after my connecting flight would have already left. No refund, no recompense, no nothing. Money taken, no service rendered. Other airlines could fly according to schedule, AirNewZaeland could not due weather. I suppose it's not weather but god himself shedding tears over this sad excuse of an airline.
On a recent trip I travelled bare bones cattle class.Singapore Air was best.Cathay was ok.Air NZ was 3rd best.
Advertised flights and fares using partner airline, allowed option selections (meal, seating), then accepted payment by internet banking. Immediately after payment, displayed error message saying flights couldn’t be booked by partner airline and to phone Air NZ. Phone took nearly 20 minutes to get to talk to someone… who couldn’t help.. transferred to international support… who couldn’t help. Said they would take the message and respond within 48 to 72 hours!Response was an e-mailed ticket… but their app and the partner airlines apps differed. One said the trip wasn’t ticketed, so I couldn’t manage it…. All preferences and requests had disappeared and the baggage allowance had dropped form 30kg to 23kg.A week later, I’m still trying to get this resolved.Rubbish.
My daughter and grandchildren were flying from New Zealand via Singapore to Manchester UK. Unfortunately due to adverse weather they had to land in Kuala Lumpur and were put in a room with all the other passengers. They were there hours with no information but eventually sent to a hotel where they were able to shower. They were then taken to back to KL airport and flown to Singapore. On arrival no onward flights had been booked for them and no one was available from Air NZ to help. They have been without any refreshments for nearly 36 hrs and the children are tired and hungry. This is appalling service from a leading airline hence this review.
BEWARE! Paid ($10x8x2 = $160)for preferred seats so my travelling party were seated together - AIRNZ changed the flight schedule which changed all seating to and from Fiji (no flight schedule changed on the return but they changed out paid for seating) They are refusing to refund because they do not consider splitting the party up is sufficient grounds for a refund. Dont bother wasting your money on preferred seating it is a SCAM by AIRNZ.
I booked a flight from Christchurch to Sydney approximately 6 months in advance. 2 weeks later, they cancelled the flight. However, they have outright refused to offer a refund, even though THEY cancelled the flight, not us. They have offered a credit note, which is of no use to us, or an alternate flight which does not fit our schedule. All we want is a refund so that we can book a suitable flight with another airline. Avoid at all costs. Their business practices should be illegal.
Not enough customer services staff and failing systems. Customers pay for this underinvestment by spending hours and hours on hold. It's a disgrace and I will to by very best to avoid booking with Air NZ again, noting that their virtual monopoly in NZ makes this a hard thing to achieve.
15th May transporting a dog from ChCh to Akld is $7524th May transporting the same dog from Akld to ChCh is $120?The dog did not suddenly put on weight? This is huge increase for your customers in 10 days, any reasons???
My son arrived from Singapore on 01/03/23 in Auckland to catch a connecting flight to Wellington. His bag did not arrive on the AIRNZ flight but was told by their baggage handlers that it was following on another flight, would be checked then forwarded to Wellington and delivered to his parents address. We know from Air Tags the bag arrived and from a call from bio security it has been check but 52hrs+ later no contact from AIRNZ. My son has sat on their freephone number for 2.5hrs with no response and no notification that no one is available, what is he supposed to do for clothes etc? Customer service is so poor.
warm crew and amazing planes. loves every trip I've been on with air nz.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
